Yes, parking can be a nightmare, but I've never had a problem coming here during my lunch break. I always feel so productive when I come. I get my grocery shopping done, go to the bank, and grab lunch all at once at the Pruneyard. My usual grocery list: - Trader Joe's French Village Vanilla Yogurt $2.49 good for the entire week. It's my "healthy" choice for breakfast at on the weekdays so I can eat whatever I want on the weekends. - Fresh blueberries $2.99 - Butter for the many baked items I try to make $2.79 - Eggs $1.79/dozen - Bottle of wine. There are lots to choose from. Oh, and save the planet by getting one of the $0.99 reusable bags. Plus every time you use it, they give you a raffle ticket. Trader Joe's tend to be awfully consistent in my estimation. The "worst" ones are three-star establishments and the best are five. The differences really aren't the items stocked (very similar) or the store decor (almost identical), but really just on the employee attitude and cleanliness/maintenance of the place. This one was solidly good. Not as spotless as West Hollywood, better than Hollywood. Sorry, just moved here, that's my frame of reference. A few of you will get it. Came here recently, and picked up some garlic hummus, pita bread and holiday cookies. Customer service is friendly. Parking lot is always super busy. This TJ's is located just down the road from Whole Foods and is tucked inside a strip mall that could handle just about any need you might have from books to mani/pedi's to office supplies. Coming to places like this leaves me in awe of the ample parking and conveniences of the South Bay. read more

Now with Covid, the staff is very through with cleanliness. I stood in a 6 ft distance line for maybe 10 minutes. When I got to the front of the line, the staff ask whether you want a cart or basket, and they clean it in front of you with their disinfectant spray. The cashier had great customer service, I had inform them I couldn't find something, and he insisted on going to the back to check for me. Love their product and service. read more

Trader Joes - Campbell, CA Trader Joes has always been one of my favorite grocery stores. The Campbell location in small, like most TJs but it has a friendly staff, and unique products. I do enjoy the fact that they carry vegan products, and actually label them vegan, which was done before Whole Foods. The main flaw however is that they do lack certain staple products, which makes it so I cannot do 100% of my grocery shopping here. read more

I don't know how one doesn't like Trader Joe's. Simply put, it's got great, organic produce and fresh meats & great products at a low price. On a weekly basis, I think I can get away with eating healthy all week breakfast, lunch and dinner on about $50, and we're talking some luxury items like Chia seeds and steel cut oatmeal! The only complaint about this particular location is that I am just simply not used to how they have rearranged the store. Some items that I assume would be like where the peanut butter is (as it is in two other TJ's I've been to) turns out to be several aisles away. I am often like a lost, wandering puppy inside this TJ's. Still, TJ = rocks. Love the prices, love the selection and the quality is great! read more

You can tell the moral has gone down. Shopping at this locations something has changed with the staff. From the way they approach you to communication. Price of produce has noticeably gone up. If you're looking for simple, clean, and spacious TJ's is it! Try not to come during prime time hours (evenings, weekend mornings, etc) if you want to avoid the parking crunch. They have amazing vegan tofu spring rolls, Miyoko's plantbased butter, kombucha, trail mix, craft beers (albeit somewhat limited compared to other stores - good enough!), nondairy milk, organic frozen rice and veggies, and decent produce! They also have some unique and well priced take out meals in the refrigerated section that don't empty your wallet and taste fresh! read more

This is my regular grocery store. I moved into the neighborhood in 2007 and have been coming here weekly. I love this store for so many reasons but today, (5-20-21) I was here to get last minute items for our road trip. I asked Nate (no last initial) if they had any individual coconut waters. He said no and that the item had been discontinued. A few minutes later Nate came and found me and explained that the item I wanted has been on back order for months with the arrival date continuously being pushed out and informed me it would eventually be in stock some day. THIS IS THE REASON WHY I SHOP HERE! The extra mile is rarely ever taken these days and this young many reminded me why I love this store so much. My favorite Trader Joe's! 10/10 would recommend Customer service: They are so friendly here! The people seem pretty happy to be at work, and they make the ambiance so nice. One time I got to my car and saw the milk carton was leaking, so I brought it back with my receipt and they grabbed me a new one, and even gave me a free reusable bag (and ice cream for the ride home! It was so hot that day) Stock: They pretty much have everything in stock, even during the height of COVID-19. Every once in a while they run out of the popsicles I like, or riced cauliflower, but other than that they always have everything on my list. Pandemic response: They sanitize everything in front of you, and everybody is always wearing a mask. They limit how many customers come in at once, and there is even a separate shorter line for seniors and medical professionals. Parking: The Pruneyard can get busy on the weekends (might take an extra few minutes to find a spot), so I usually go during the week and have always found a convenient spot. read more

Didn't even know this place existed since the only time I'm in this area is to go to Valley Fair Mall a.k.a. Westfield....yeah. Anyways, since I needed some Dark Chocolate covered Cherries for a cookie recipe, I needed a TJ that was close to Santana Row (um...I'm not rich at all...I just like walking around and feeling ritzy...which is probably what half of the people are doing here). The place smelled like paint. *cough* The aisles were very crowded especially for a Saturday afternoon. I always enjoy my time at Trader Joes. The customers and the staff always seem to be in such great moods and just happy to be there. I usually go here when I want to grab some random veggies, quinoa, wine, or random frozen items. I just walk up and down the aisles and see what jumps out at me (I'm a dork like that!). I'm really looking forward to the holidays when all their Xmas items come out, particularly the mint chocolate covered espresso beans. Amazing!!! Also, if you've never had Think Thin bars, try one! I love TJ's, and this location is just like every other: reliably stocked with the best store brand items, plenty of seasonal goodies to try for the first or fifteenth time, and genuinely helpful and friendly employees. Came in to get some specific items: eggplant hummus (so good, and only $2!), garlic eggplant spread (in a glass jar by the pasta sauce, very good), and the specoloos cookie spread (it's basically sin in a jar- I recommend eating it with a spoon). Also grabbed some bananas, though I usually opt not to get produce here because it seems to be a little pricer and I don't like the excess packaging- prefer to pick my own and bag, thanks. I love their large selection of flowers at the entrance of each location- I've been meaning to grab another orchid, and will probably chose to get it here. Always save some time to stop by the back corner and grab a sample- always some tasty choices, and usually a coffee beverage, too. Can't really go wrong here for a creative shopping trip. I like to grab a few new items each tie I come and build a new meal around them, which is pretty fun to me. Their frozen options are also notoriously good, though I haven't found one that I realiably get each time- the truffle mushroom flatbread is delish, but so is the gorgonzola chicken pasta. Don't forget to stuff everything in a reusable TJ's bag- they're always pretty nice, love the current featured design. read more

You will question your sanity trying to find parking in this cockamamie shopping center but this Trader Joe's was surprisingly spacious and the least busy I've ever seen a California Trader Joe's. They don't have very many registers but the lines are never as long as other TJs and they move quickly. The aisles here are set up differently than other locations... feels like they have less to offer and more space to move around, but they had everything I wanted and my experience was quick, painless, and cost effective. I'm not often grocery shopping in this area but its good to know there's at least one Trader Joe's that isn't as crazy as its parking would lead you to believe. read more

Looking for a pleasant shopping experience, friendly staff, quality products and favorable prices are just some reasons why the Campbell Trader Joe's is my favorite location in the Bay Area. The entire staff is fantastic, making me feel like I am shopping at a small community market! In todays fast paced lifestyle of the Bay Area, the team at Trader Joe's Campbell takes the time to put customer service and satisfaction first. Great new products keep coming out monthly, the store is always clean and fully stocked. If for some reason there is a product missing or out, the staff always takes time to check the back, while being extremely friendly. The lines move quickly when they are full and they pull staff from the floor to work un-open registers if the store gets packed. I recommend parking in the sports basement parking lot if the Trader Joe's lot is crowded and if that doesn't work, the bank of america lot will also work. Trader Joe's what would I do without you? Trader Joe's has been my preferred grocery store for about 10 years now and that shows no sign of changing any time soon. There's just something about the TJ's experience that has drawn me in since they started popping up in every town around the Bay Area. Sure, you can buy your average grocery items here, but they seem to have a lot of items I can't buy elsewhere and the price point doesn't put a huge dent in your wallet either. Items that stick out in my mind that I absolutely love: Heat and serve carnitas Half corn, half flour totally handmade tortillas Gluten Free Loaded Fruit and Nut Granola Dried Berry medley Frozen entrees, especially the indian items and "Really Expensive Authentic Handcrafted" chicken burritos Tropical mango pineapple salsa 100% cherry juice I could go on, but I can't think of all the quirky little things that I enjoy throwing in my shopping cart here. The beer selection has definitely improved over the past year or so, with offerings from Stone and Lagunitas now appearing on their shelves. We always manage to find decent, inexpensive wines here as well. Standards like milk, butter and eggs are reasonably priced and the same quality that you'll find at other grocery stores. I'd say I spend about $80 per trip and usually have enough food for the week. I take away one star for the produce being iffy at times. There have been times where I feel like things have stayed on the shelves beyond their expiration dates, so check the dates on items before you toss them in your cart! This is the Pruneyard, so parking can be a major hassle as well. Staff here is always helpful and friendly and if there's something you can't find on the shelves, they'll go check to see if they have it in the back if you ask. read more

OH MY GOD! This is probably one of the places I love grocery shopping at. I work at Legacy Hamilton Plaza building so I could either walk or drive to TJ's. This store got great organic produce and fresh meats at a low price! Also, they have some foods like wraps and salads for about $3.99 and eating half of it keeps me full already. I spend about $50-$60 on a weekly basic for lunch and dinner that I usually cook myself.
