Young man who worked 05/26 @6:00PM who pushes carts stole this off my car
    Michella I.

I was gifted flowers from our florist who did our wedding (S/O Blackistone Florist in Campbell). Beautiful $150-200 floral arrangement. Hubby and I decided to stop at Safeway before we head home since it's literally on the way and we figured it would be better for the flowers to get more sunlight. So we left it on top of the car thinking there's nothing to worry about since it's on top of the car. We didn't think we would take long since we're buying juice. As I'm paying for my final item I see the workers laughing and giggling and lo and behold HOLDING MY FLOWERS placing it right in front of me on the florist table. I'm like those are mine.. those came from my car.. and the female worker was like laughing not believing me. She begins to say how she has been wanting to get her grandma flowers because her grandma has been in the hospital for cancer. All the workers are cracking up about the come up on the flowers they took off my car. I'm looking confused like nobody is believing me, hubby came in and said He saw the young guy who puts the carts back walk past our car and snatch it off, put it in the cart and run into the store giving it to the young lady who then put it on the florist table. Since nobody believed me, I showed them a picture of my flowers. And they laughed. lol. Ok. Mind You before we even entered Safeway, the same young guy snatched this mans cart that still had His personal belongings in it and the man had to keep shouting at the guy across the parking lot pushing the carts letting Him know is Phone and things were in there. I mean if You have been wanting to buy Your grandma flowers and felt as if the ones You stole from someone was better than using Your hard earned money to purchase some yourselves then ok. But that Flabber my Gasted

Overall prices are high, quality of food is hit and miss "depending on what you buy" for instance there dairy gold eggnog is pricey but is top notch Quality. Fruits and veggies on the other hand usually have no flavor at all. The meat department is not bad but the prices, ouch!! So far my experience with the checkers have been pleasant they all seem to be pretty nice. I would give them higher marks but honestly I feel the store is deceptive in their advertising, it's almost like they put some items on sale after they raise the price. But I. Digress.

    Newest floral department in town!

Welcome to the neighborhood store #2968! I'm so glad to have visited during their grand opening. You're welcomed with beautiful flower arrangements in their floral department. Directly to your left is their delicatessen section with cases filled with freshly made hot and cold food. The vegetable and fruit section is larger than other Safeway in the area which makes me SO excited! We checked out the meat section and the butchers are sweet and patient. We made sure to walk down every aisle and I love how neat and easy it is to go through this store. I absolutely thrilled to have a new Safeway to shop in. One great in size and have friendly staff. One downer is that they do not have a Starbucks inside the store but one is located in the same shopping center. Welcome you guys and keep up the great work! Will be back over and over again!

Always relaxed with way fewer lines than other nearby Safeways. The staff is friendly and I always find fun new snacks in the deli area.

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

However, as soon as we started cooking it, it became immediately clear that the meat had gone bad. The smell was extremely strong and unpleasant--so much so that it filled the entire house and lingered even after we threw everything away. We paid about $40 for the product and had to discard the entire batch. It was purchased just one day prior and stored in the refrigerator right away, so this was very unexpected. What's especially concerning is that I was about to serve this to my child. That makes this experience not just disappointing, but alarming from a food safety standpoint.

As a smaller store, I typically don't do a full grocery run there, but I love the quality of many of their items, so I come here frequently. Staff tends to be fairly stable and many of their items friendly people who serve me have been here for some time. I generally find folks to be super helpful. I also trust their fish department - something I don't do at some of the other grocery stores. And, as I said,t heir meat department in general is quite good. The store is well stocked and well-run -- it's always a pleasant stop when I can drop in. I'd probably give it a 5th star if I could find a way to do most of my shopping there, which I just can't. But I love it nevertheless - even through the myriad name changes it's experienced over the past decade or so as they've somewhat inexplicably changed their name several times. (Mid-life crisis? Corporate shuffling? Reinvesting? Who knows? I just know that when I tell my wife I'm going to the store, I stumble through two names they used to have before I get to the right one.) I do recommend Silver Creek Community Market and, if you live nearby, please consider supporting this store with your business - it's so nice to have a decent grocery near your home.

I needed celery for my stuffing recipe and yams for my candied yam recipe. Every fall they get the "Diane Yams", which are the best. They are a dark reddish brown on the outside and dark orange in the middle. They are sweet and delicious. I have never found these yams anywhere else. I buy them from Lunardi's every year. I got the items I needed and headed to the checkout. The line moved fast. The young man helping me was very nice. I went home and briefly looked at my receipt and noticed I was over charged for the celery and the yams. I was actually charged for sweet potatoes which are a pale orange color and they were $1.00 more a pound than the Diane Yams. I called the store and explained the situation. I had to return to the store and get back in line to get refunded. Abby, who helped me with my refund apologized and said the guy helping me usually works the late shift. They should do a little training on the differences between the yams, sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. A $1.00 more a pound is a lot especially when you have bought a large quantity. Now for the celery, I got charged for the blue tagged celery when my celery was clearly a red tag, which was on special. Not even sure how you get those colors confused. Next time I will check my receipt before I leave the store.
