I've been to this Trader Joe's many times alone. Recently, I have gone more often with a Senior friend. The only negative thing I've noticed and I hope they can improve on is they should provide more handicapped parking. Only a couple of spaces that are always in use. Perhaps originally the demographics indicated a younger consumer but there are also older and elderly shopping here. With that said only positive vibes remain for this TJ's located in Suburban Square. Wide aisles, ample and well organized shelves. Great fresh fruits, veggies, meats and cheeses. Floral items are pretty and reasonably priced. I've found them to be cheaper than the larger grocery stores. Pressed juices are approximately 40% cheaper then it's competitor down the pike. As a previous reviewer indicated the staff here are personable and helpful and there is never a long wait in line.

I love Trader Joe's. When you first walk in, you grab a cart or a basket. Then you see the flowers and they smell so good and there are so many to choose from. Once you decide if you're going to pick out a bunch of flowers, you won't go wrong. The staff is so nice they are very helpful. The shelves are always stock. What, what did I tell y'all they sometimes have sample to try. And if you like it, the sample item's is always near. So grab one or two and keep shopping. The prices are average. While you are shopping, you will notice that's it's new items and don't be scared to purchase them. Because if you don't buy it might not be their the next time. So don't walk past. Just put it in your cart. Because that happened to me. And said to myself I won't do that again. When I'm driving and I say out loud, I need to make a Trade Joe's Haul run. My husband asked what are you going to get??? And I tell him flowers, bananas, bread, juice, and to look around to see if any new or if we need anything else. My husband responds, ìs I'll set in the car, and don't take too long. And I stated ok I won't. Their is something for the kids to do. When you are shopping, there is a little stuffed animal hiding in the store. So if the child finds it, they get a little treat. How much fun is that. The market is always clean when I go. So go and check Trade Joe's out there should be one near you. So leave me a message about what you found, tried, and what you like.

I took it with a grain of salt, because 12 year olds are not notorious for their discerning palate. He was kind enough to bring me a menu, and off we went! We ordered (5) wings to start (student loved them). They were good--have had better. I ordered the cheese steak, was piping hot when we picked it up, a respectable amount of meat and extra cheese as ordered--very good. My husband ordered the Curry Goat. It was excellent. Tender pieces of goat (on the bone, think small little riblets) with a flavorful yet not too spicy curry sauce, rice and bean mix and excellent fried cabbage. The ratio of beans to rice was a tad low, but still very good. It is an unassuming storefront among row homes, neighbors hanging out on stoops and such were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

It was amazing! I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day, so I had to come back for lunch! This time I tried the oxtail, and curry goat. My favorite was the Jamaican jerk chicken, but the Oxtail and curry chicken were very good as well! I wasn't a big fan of the goat, but it had nothing to do with the cooking though. Just too many little bones in it. Loved the beans and rice! Probably the best I've ever had! Great find, will definitely return!

It is in the site of the former Acme, and before that Superfresh, in Gladwyne. However, the store is totally expanded and renovated that you can not tell it it is the same location. It is cleanly lit and there are a ton of great options. Upon walking in to McCaffrey's, you are greeted by fresh flowers, has a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and dressings and sauces. As you explore the store some more, you will find the butcher section selling fresh meats, the bakery section with fresh baked goods and the hot food sections. They also fresh sushi and soup. A ton of great items! The bakery section had a couple of Phillies themed cupcakes, which I loved. I had to pick some up. Let's go Phillies!!!! There is also a little coffee shop with coffee, gourmet drinks and pastries. A nice little option. Across from the coffee shop, is the alcohol section, which seemed to have a number of options for adults. There is both checkout with a worker and self-checkout. I like that, so you have both options depending on how much you buy. McCaffrey's is definitely on the more expensive side compared to other options like Acme or Giant. However, most of the food here is gourmet and healthy, so that makes sense. Altogether, McCaffrey's Food Markets is a great new addition to the Gladwyne, Lower Merion and Main Line areas.

This is…read morenow the second time I've raised the same concern, and it's honestly becoming very frustrating. During my visit, I saw a meat department employee wearing his store smock go directly into the restroom. From a hygiene and food safety standpoint, that's very concerning. I brought it to the manager's attention, and while he said he would "say something," there didn't appear to be any follow-through. The employee came back out still wearing the same smock, and nothing seemed to change. What makes this worse is that this isn't the first time I've mentioned it. When customers take the time to raise legitimate concerns--especially involving food handling and cleanliness--it should be taken seriously and addressed immediately. On a personal level, situations like this are stressful, especially for those of us who are mindful of health concerns. You expect a certain standard when shopping for food, and right now, that confidence just isn't there. For a store that promotes itself as high-quality, I expect better hygiene practices, better management response, and better accountability.

You order at the counter and then a somewhat grumpy ahjumma brings you the food. :) - soy garlic fried chicken - 4/5, solid option - vegetable jeon - 3/5, little greasy for my liking - bulgogi bibimbap - 4/5, another solid option but I much prefer my bibimbap in a stone pot where the rice can get crispy but that was not what they had to offer so there was truth in advertising A bit expensive for lunch but very convenient on the Main Line plus they have a lot of cute things for purchase in the store. I'd go again to try other items from their menu and support this family owned business.

I enjoyed my dalgona coffee while watching the kdrama that was on. I've never been here so I wanted to try a few things, I got the Mul Naengmyeon and a Jeyuk Quesadilla. The soup was refreshing; I've had something similar before and enjoyed the chewy noodles and savory broth. The quesadilla had good flavor but was very greasy. I was able to eat about half using chopsticks to eat the filling out of the tortilla. Service was average. I really enjoy the overall vibe of the eatery and would like to come back with friends and maybe try the tteokbokki. Is on the pricier side for three items, I paid $49. Still very cute and would recommend though!
