Worst pedicure ever. I left still having horrible calluses and there was no massage whatsoever. All I got was some way too hot hot stones rubbed up and down my leg twice. Not worth the $55 I forked out. TN Nail Spa across the street is MUCH better, much cleaner, much more thorough. Will never be back here. read more

This is the only place that I ever go to for my eyebrows. You have to ask for Kim--she takes her time and is very detailed, she's great. $10 Eyebrow + Lip Wax, $10 underarm wax. The only thing that I don't like is the long long long wait time. I've waited 15-45 minutes in any time that I go to get my brows done. There are always multiple people waiting before me and she also has a tendency to favor certain customers, taking them before the order on the wait list. Kim's skill and personality is the reason why I keep coming back, but I don't like waiting half an hour to get my eyebrows done. read more

The service and treatment of customers makes this a five star review. I've been to nail salons where you are barely acknowledged and/or treated like you're going to be a cheap tipper. But this place is absolutely the best with many skilled nail artists and estheticians. My nail artist is Kathy and she has a great personality. The first time I cam here she was very nice and welcoming. She took the time to get to know some things about me. I get gel nails and they always look pretty. One day, I decided to take a trip on the wild side and got color gel rather than my usual boring french gel. It was Kathy's suggestion to try color and I loved it!!! She picked out the perfect shade for me. My daughter and I also get our brows waxed here. The price is very reasonable! All the ladies are good. Lily was the first to beautify our brows. I came here once to get my nails done since a friend had wanted to come here to get hers done. It's not my normal place to get my nails done either, I usually go to Venus Nails over on W. Stockton Blvd next to the Claire's. They did such a horrible job on my nails that I didn't even want to pay for it and if I could, I would have given them 0 stars. When they filed my nails, they were completely uneven and not that great. And when it came time to do the polish, the person didn't do very great on that either. I don't know why, but her hands were a bit shaky and so my nails ended up being sloppy. All I know is that I will not be back to this place ever again and every time someone asks me about this place, I say this place is a NO!! read more

I'm going to start off by saying DON'T waste your time in this place! I sat in there for 35 minutes and ended up leaving without any service. There is no structure or organization. I walked in and no one greeted me to even ask what I wanted to have done! Another customer told me to just sit down and they would eventually get to me....that should of been the first clue that they have bad customer service. Never will I EVER go back!!! Two words, eyebrow fairies! I don't have a specific person I go to; I trust all of the ladies with my brows! I don't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows waxed. For $7, its as good as it gets. After getting my eyebrows ruined at another shop in Sacramento, I came to Tracy's Nails hoping they could fix them. My eyebrows went from disgusting to fabulous! These ladies tend to leave the brow a little bit thicker, leaving room for last minute fixes and touch ups, and they always let you look at your brows before continuing to wax to make sure its to your liking. My friends and I decided to get our mani/pedi done for an event we had the following day. At first we were set to go to another nail salon in Elk Grove but after confirming that they had only 2 nail artists for the 4 of us, we decided to go to Tracy nails. Tracy nails employee informed us that we will be able to all get our nails done at the same time and that was the deciding factor. The employees were very nice and did an excellent job! I decided to try gel nail polish on my toes as well as my fingernails and was left pleasantly surprised. The manicurist (who was a man) took time and put in effort into doing my nails. The prices were reasonable and they even offered 5$ off my pedicure. The gel manicure cost me $25 and the gel pedicure was $30 (original $35) which I feel were fair prices. The pedicure seats have a massager and are relatively new. It seems to be like a pretty popular spot but they manage to serve all their customers in a timely manner! P.S. facial waxing is a popular service offered here from the volume of people influx. Update: the mani did not last two weeks but pedicure is still going strong after a few months (just natural nail growing out)! read more

I came here to get my nails done one time for senior ball... it was ok... it looked nice but my nails didnt dry all the way so it got kind of messed up on my way out... When you dry your nails its just with little cheap fans... nothing fancy. - I mainly used to come here to get my eyebrows done... well the first couple of times i went there they did an excellent job but then after that it seemed like they were slacking and didnt do as nice of a job because i was a regular. I went in today for a fill w/o an appt. And also for an eyebrow and lip wax. The women there were so polite and helpful! Both my waxes ended up only $10 and my fill was just $15 (w/ regular nail polish. A gel fill is $30... Ouch..!) It wasn't overly crowded and it was very peaceful. The decor wasn't as cheasy as some salons like to do.. Something I found strange was that when someone came in for a bikini wax, they weren't taken to a private room. I have been going to Lily or Kim every two weeks to get my eyebrows done for about 13 years. I live closer the Antelope area and work downtown so I drive to Elk Grove (out of my way) just to get my eyebrows done. I never have to look in the mirror after to make sure they look good because they always look great. I highly recommend Lily or Kim and even Vivian does a good job. Be prepared to wait on Fridays and Saturdays though. They are very busy on those days. After going so long, I figured out what day's to go on so I don't have to wait 45 minutes. Sorry, not sharing! ;) Kathy and Tammy do a great job on nails (especially if you want nail art), Jessica is really gentle on the pedicures and I recommend any of them to do either. read more

Good service, horrible technique and job done overall. I got a pedi, she stopped three times once to go on the phone, then to vacuum, and then to paint another's nails. My nails have visible bubbles, they painted my mani way too fast and took so long to start that by the the time they put the clear coat on they were closing and I was forced to leave without being able to dry. I have FINALLY found a place to make my eyebrows look good. I have fought with my eyebrows for years. They were made uneven by the newest threading shop in town, so (gasp) I had to let them grow out. And at the advice of my son and his friends I gave Tracy's a try and I am ever so thankful I did! As long as that shop is around they have my loyalty! This is a review based solely on their eyebrow waxing service: Only these ladies get my weird eyebrows right! If I was home all the time, I would only come here to get my eyebrows done. I've been coming here for over almost 8 years now, and these ladies are the only ones that know how to fix the bizarre shape of my eyebrows. (The ends of my eyebrows curl up in a really weird way, like little horns.) I found my new nail salon. They were super friendly from the moment I walked in. I came in for a mani pedi they took me in within five minutes of getting there. I was in and out on about an hour or so. They did my toes and nails at the same time. My gel mani came out perfect and so did my toes. I will be coming back no doubt about it. First time here. I truly wanted to like this place. I did like the price. I did like the man who did my fill, but I can't say I liked his work. When he went to file my nails, he grabbed an old used file. I asked him to please use a new clean one on my nails. He seemed surprised, but obliged. I didn't want gel polish because, honestly, regular polish stays on acrylic nails just fine. I picked a color number and he came back with a color about 4 shades lighter than what I chose -the color number was hand written on the top of the bottle. This happened 3 times until I finally just said that color would be fine. I really dont like it, but I had another appointment to get to. While I was getting my nails done, the tv was playing. That's fine, but then I heard a different show on right behind me. It was one of the manicurists watching her soap opera on her phone in the middle of the room - loudly. It is annoying to be hearing 2 different things at the same time. There is a back room they can go to in between clients. It may be a little thing, but it was the opposite of relaxing. I've been going to this place since 2005 because it is so convenient (2 minutes away from my house). I'm really rating the wax services because I just go there to get my eyebrows done. The place is pretty small and gets crowded especially during the weekends because so many people go in so that's why they lost a star. The two ladies doing waxing are super super nice and I'm always happy when I leave. However, they only take cash. I've gotten 2-3 pedicures and 1 manicure there and would not recommend going there for that. They are really rough on your feet so I usually go to another place for it. read more

I thought I give Tracy Nails a try giving the good reviews. I was not too impressed with this salon. The staff is NOT welcoming at all. They don't greet you upon entering the facility, heck they don't even acknowledge that you walked in the door! When I finally sat down in the spa chair, the bowl was NOT properly cleaned! I nicely told the nail tech to re-clean it, she did but I'm sure she didn't really want to. I was so tempted to walk right out the door. The pedi was just okay.. The massage was weak and lazy! No conversation from the nail tech,it was all hand gestures(whatever)! I sat down for my mani and this was with the gentleman, he didn't speak! He didn't even ask me how I wanted my nails shaped, he just started going in on my nails! Felt very rush, as he had a client come in for a appt. The only positive about this salon is the eyebrow ladies in the back, who indeed greeted me and we even had a conversation. I will probably NOT be back here. I've been coming here for years. The ladies here the typical asian-owned and operated nail shop: customer service is not top-notch, shop appearance isn't classy, and the ladies tend to speak a lot of their native language. BUT!!! The prices are reasonable compared to other shops in the EG area. $10 for Lips and Eyebrow waxing - You just need to tell them you want your brows to be thick or thin. I always tell them to keep them thick, and I haven't had any problems. And if you tip them well, they'll do an extra good job so you don't have to come back as often. Fridays and Saturdays are often busiest, so come earlier in the week to get to know the ladies. I get a new nail decoration every time I get a mani pedi here. The ladies can come up with some fancy and unique designs. And their airbrush! It's always gorgeous! I think a full acrylic set is $18 and up. Oh! Big plus!!! They now have OPI Axxium gel nails system for natural nails for about $20 a set! The gel manicure lasts for a good two weeks. A tip: If you get them to do a Clear or light color gel, you can paint them on your own when you get home as many colors you want and like natural nails, you can remove the color with nail polish remover! Or you can come in and get them to paint them for a special event without taking off the gels. I love mine! My natural nails tend to split and chip, but with Axxium's light feel and gives your nails that extra strength. They accept credit cards for nails, but it's cash only for wax services. read more

I have visited this shop four times and it has been a different experience each time. This place is very hit or miss in regards to customer service and quality. The first time I came with a group and while my nails were perfect, the customer service was lacking. The second time the customer service was great (they did my gel manicure and pedicure at the same time to get me out quickly) and the third time was not memorable. This most recent experience was disappointing. I arrived around 5pm on a Monday night. I waited in the pedicure chair for 45 minutes before my pedicure began. While I loved the attention to detail on the actual pedicure and manicure, the man was very rough with the cuticle cutter. Although my nails look ok, I noticed that he forgot to put a top coat on my toenails and fingernails have already chipped. I have also gotten my eyebrows done here (they only accept cash for eyebrows) and they were super 1995 thin. I think I will be going back to Hollywood Nails.
