We perused the shop in wonderment as it had a cat sleeping on a pizza box who quickly scurried to a higher place when we entered with Alfie, there were three varieties of live chicks for sale, and about five chihuahuas in the display case going crazy at Alfie as well. They do also breed & sell chihuahua puppies. They did not have our brand of Purina dog food nor a big selection but we did find found something else and were on our way. It is a small shop & not sure it would serve the purpose for everyone but it sufficed for us & we were grateful. As always, please support your local small business!

Beware of this deceptive, deceitful and unscrupulous vendor…read more My first, and only, order for 30 lbs of chopped peanuts resulted in delivery of a bag containing 78% chopped peanuts and 22% useless powdered and clumped fines. This order was placed based on a product narrative found on their chopped peanuts webpage claiming they were perfect for feeders. Quite to the contrary, this mixture of chopped nuts and fines would very quickly result in a clumped mass of useless wildlife feed. When I informed PB&N of this issue the vendor stated it was too late to "make it right" as they have a 30 day window within which to file a complaint. A policy that was stated nowhere on their website, nor on the invoice, nor on any email related to the order. Very clever to make up a policy that absolves you of responsibility, but not post it anywhere. Besides, it was only 15 days outside that window that I found time to sift and weight the product. A few back and forth emails has revealed PB&N has no intention of providing any remedy for this matter. Angela, the owner, claims it's only a matter of $2.11 of product - while ignoring the significant cost of shipping that $2.11 of useless product. Shipping was, after all, 3 times the cost of the product. And, let's not forget the negative environmental impact of shipping that useless product. Nor was any consideration given to the time I wasted sifting the fines out of the product to get a usable product - again only 78% of what I ordered. I have to ask Angela, do you really not know the nature of the product you are selling? The one bag I received can't be a singular anomaly. How many others have you cheated? How many others didn't place a second order? How many others have shared their unfavorable purchasing experience? Angela, your deceptive and deceitful business practices will be a black spot on your soul for eternity. Your actions in this matter have revealed you are not true and honest as one would expect based on your professed Christian beliefs.
