Centerville: I never come here but was going to try to buy something they were supposed to carry. Worst customer service ever. No one on the floor to ask questions. Was looking for something that their site said they had multiples of. I asked a worker about to go to the register who said "she'd have to look" and then proceeded to ring up people and just left me to wonder if she was going to ever get to me. Apparently not, as there was no effort made to help. No follow up to say "let me ring up this person and then I'll look". Nope. I left. Not worth my time and effort. Never have I ever been to a store that sells chicks. Tractor supply has just about all that you may need for gardening, bbq, fixing, mending, feeding, patching, growing, etc. Tractor supply is a one stop shop for the farm or pet owner. There is so much to see at TS. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that TS had a variety of chicks for sale. Chicks were very reasonably priced and they all looked healthy and clean. This review is for the Store on Pruden Blvd, in Suffolk VA. I have always done most of my business in that store but will no longer step foot into that store there customer service sucks just ask Diane she is the worst. I bought chickens at another location this is my first time buying chickens and did not know the store policy, so I called the store on February 21, 2026, to ask what the policy was for chickens if they die and could I come and get another one in its place and does it have to be the same store where I purchased it? instead Diane puts me on hold so she thought and I heard the whole conversation me & my husband word for word with the store manager, she continued to say that it was ridiculous that I would call up the store about a dead chicken and I need to return the damn chicken to the store, where I purchased the chicken and other things as well but the point is all she had to say is I have to go to the other store but no she had to be rude at 9:00 in the morning for what ? It was not to return a dead chicken that is obvious. I called back and spoke with Kate the store manager and told her what had happened word for word and she apologized why would you apologize for ignorance. I enjoy shopping at Tractor Supply Company. It's a large retail chain with over 1800 locations in 49 states yet somehow manages to maintain the look and feel of a local independent store. The employees are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They seem to enjoy their jobs which just makes me feel good about patronizing the business. TSC has broad product lines encompassing items from categories like agriculture, feed and seed, home improvement, live stock, pet care, equine, lawn and garden, farm and ranch, clothing, shoes and boots, hardware and much more. Prices are competitive with their competitors. Like many modern chain retailers, TSC offers a rewards program and online shopping in addition to good old fashioned brick and mortar stores. This large free standing building is crowded with products and displays inside and outside the store. Somehow this contributes to the local independent feeling I get when I visit this location. The large private parking lot means you will never have to worry about finding a parking spot. The lot is well maintained and always clear of debris on my visits. read more

Stopped by just to take a look and found great prices on pet food, specifically for mans best friend. Now we're not farmers so I can't comment on anything outside of what is needed for a big yard...but what they did have for us city folks was pretty good. Purchase: Other than the dog food I got a yard flag for the home and a few other knick-knacks (well that's what my wife calls em). Service: Friendly and helpful staff that kept me on track with my list. Overall: Well, for not having a tractor at our home you might want to take this with a grain of salt but...I'm giving TS 4 Stars. read more

I joke that every time I walk in this store I'm tempted to buy some cowboy boots and livestock. Jokes aside, the people are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are in line with your larger improvement stores. While their selection is limited they have the bare necessities for what you'll need for everyday household fixes. Store is clean and organized. If the employees see you looking around they're eager to point you to what your looking for or answer any questions. Moving into a new home around the corner, I frequent tractor supply and love the personal touch interactions that their employees look to bring to their customers. Something that's been lost in the bigger home improvement stores who are just hanging out and waiting for a shift to end. read more

I am not a farm girl but as far as tractor stores go, I was impressed. The local 4-H club was there when we arrived and there was a lot going on. Glad to see a local store supporting an organization like 4-H. The store was clean and well marked. read more

Very disappointed in my experience today at the Elizabeth City store. I've always loved shopping there in the past. I purchased $2000.00 in dog kennels. One was very scratched and already rusted. They would rather take $ off than switch a better one from the rusty one already loaded in my truck. I'm so disappointed. All they kept saying was they come off the delivery truck like that. I ordered a chicken run online and it was in stock at the Tractor Supply in Virginia Beach. They will not deliver it to the Tractor Supply in Chesapeake. I am two miles from the Chesapeake store and 23 miles from the Tractor Supply store in Virginia Beach. No helping out the customer any longer. Customer service is dead and died a long time ago. Im giving them only 2 stars because of their prices. They're about $3 to $6 MORE on everything compared to other local farm/feed supplies like St. Brides and Southern States. The only reason I didn't give them a 1 star is because they have a nice set up and friendly staff. read more

The worst store. One of the employees works "real hard" , red head girl, stood around talking with a friend while 9 people stood in line to check out. The phone could be heard ringing by all customers while she stood to the side, looked at the phone in her hand and proceeded to talk with friends. I had earlier asked her for help to give a price check, she said sure and wondered off to talk with other friends. Finally I got a price check. She saw that there was a long line with only one register open. Unacceptable. Don't think about trying on boots, all boxes have only one boot. So you have to ask for assistance... good luck with that. One employee had a dolly with a few bags of feed on it, no obstructed view. Didn't say anything as he headed my way and hit me with the feed, looked at me and kept going. T-Supply, I hope you see this review and address the people hired or shut the store down. In 3 years never once have I had a good experience here. It's worth driving to NC to get stuff I need. At least they have good customer service and don't hire the fast food rejects.
