I shop this tractors supply stores all the time . All the staff from the last 7 years have been professional and polite and go above and beyond. I used to take my Snow Ball in when she was a puppy. Need to take her in a agin soon. They have a hugh selection of farm house and lwan and garden and clothes and geed and some parts. I recently brought a belt dog food cat food and tomatoes plants from this store. Always do a good job. I highly recommend them. I I will always go back. We had to find homes for ten puppies and had lots of questions, needs and supplies. Tractor supply employees were beyond helpful . We also sent each family who adopted in to shop and the staff was fantastic. They were patient and friendly. All ten have forever homes and each pup had everything they needed from our Ramona Tractor Supply store I cannot say enough how great they were to all of us. Always a train wreck at checkout while employees lounge at the back Website says they have things in stock that they've discontinued, and it must have been a while ago because the employee knew that without having to look it up. Dog food seems to be consistently out (Diamond Naturals and Strive). Everytime we try to go in and order a pallet of pig food/beef finisher they seem to be out. The one caveat with this store is that they have super star employees like Erin Bean. She is always willing to help me with any question I have or to walk me straight to a specific product. She is a phenomenal asset to this store. If it werent for her, then I wouldnt be shopping at TSC. A+ service from her ALWAYS! Now Management on the other hand can be atrocious at best. The manager Tiffany Teresi has excellent customer service. We were looking for a stock tank pool went to Valley Center store (everyone was super helpful and nice there) and they didn't have any in stock so we ended up going to Ramona to get one since they had a few in stock. We did bring our truck and we tried to make that big thing fit but wasn't happening so I went back into the store to ask for delivery. While the employees were all very nice I paid for the delivery but it wasn't set up correctly. Maybe the girl was new, not sure but in any event I took the day off waiting for my next day delivery and decided to call to see what time the would be coming when the manager got on the phone and said they didn't have a delivery listed for me. You can imagine since I took a day off work I wasn't very pleased but Tiffany handled it so well. She apologized and said let me see what I can do and asked if she could call me back. I was skeptical thinking I may get lip service but nope, Tiffany called me back in a matter of 20 minutes saying it would be delivered same day by 6 PM. Her delivery driver was in Riverside had to go back to Ramona and then back to Escondido and we all know afternoon traffic isn't fun but he arrived right on time with a smile on his face. I just can't say enough great things about Tiffany as well as the delivery guy (which I didn't get his name but she knows who is is which matters:). Love this store! This is a leashed doggo friendly spot. We went in for one thing and came out with about 13. So, use caution!!! The selection is fantastic. A great place for holiday shopping. We found amazing merchandise and mostly very nice employees. The ONE employee who was less then helpful, the cashier. The one employee everyone interacts with. He said maybe three words. Anything else? How are you going to pay? Ok he said two sentences. No hello how are you, no would you like a bag, o thanks for coming in. So -1 star for that. Tractor supply has all the things I need as a back country worker. They have a great selection on all sorts of things from tractor parts, to my usual chainsaw stuff. I ran into tractor supply to grab some vaccines. The young lady in the back was super helpful. The cashier David, did an awesome job too. He was struggling with registering the vaccines, and looked to Jared multiple times for help with no luck. In fact Jared dismissed David's attempts for help, it took him some time which I don't mind waiting and he was so kind, but he did register the vaccines successfully. No help at all to Jared. I was actually really taken back with the way he treated David. He helped all the customers after me, a customer that walked in but never helped David, to help expedite the process. I was more surprised to find out Jared was the manager. read more

Great store! I actually came here because I needed thick, sturdy mats for my garage gym. This store has plenty! The stall mats are great for keeping your gym equipment in place and protecting weights from slamming on the concrete. Employees are super friendly! They helped load my stall mats into the car too. read more

I love tractor supply! I normally go to the Lakeside/El Cajon one, but today we came up to Ramona to get a swing. Rosie, (I think that was her name), was very sweet and patient with my mom who was having a hard time finding her coupon. Once we purchased the swing, she called for assistance to help us load it in my truck. Jacob G disassembled the whole swing for us and helped me load it into the truck. We then needed to tie it down, but neither my mom nor myself knew how to put tie downs together, so he walked us through each step and watched us tie the swing down to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere. Jacob G should be recognized for his outstanding behavior and customer service. Tractor Supply will always have my business. read more

Genuinely friendly which is rare these days, and they make sure that you have the right products you need for your projects. They also deliver very inexpensively. Found a large store full of great gardening products and little baby chicks if you want to raise chickens. They also have great farming equipment for those who want to live off the grid. read more

I went into TRC to check out the Tiny Dump Trailers.. when I asked how they connect to ATV or my John Deere Gator, the Asst Mgr Gigi responded with it just hooks up. I have a regular Ball type Trailer Hitch and I've got a Pintle Hook but wanted to know how this particular trailer connected as it didn't have a traditional Trailer Hitch.. After Gigi gave me the run around wasting my time for half an hour. I left, I must say the store is very good and provides many Made in China parts.. But the Management was extremely poor..Most of the staff are young and not knowledgeable about their inventory but at least they are very nice and try, Management needs to start at the Bottom and work up, have no idea how they got the job unless their Dad owns the store read more

They may sell propane but they don't like to sell propane. I've been here twice and the employees copped an attitude both times. Every business needs to enforce expired tanks but every other business does it with tact. The employees here start the conversation like they're ready for an argument. The first time I went, the employee said both tanks were expired. I took his word on it and exchanged them for tanks that were current. The second time I went, the employee said both tanks were expired. One of the tanks, I had just received on exchange less than two weeks prior. The other tank, I had received on exchange about 6 months prior. I told him that I just received the one tank on exchange, his response was to blurt out "Well, they're breaking the law!" We then got in a ridiculous conversation about this other company breaking the law. After much persuasion, I got him to take a good look at both tanks. Both tanks had been re-certified and they were current. 1) It makes me wonder if my tanks were expired the first time. 2) Customers should not hear about a problem, unless it is a problem. I don't need to hear about your concern for expired tanks until you've actually determined them to be expired (and you're right about it). There's no value in every employee asking me if my tanks are expired when you've got to look at them to determine if they're expired! read more

Bought something that said available today for online pickup, placed the order and waited. A few hours later the order was cancelled without explanation. Thought maybe it wasn't available, I checked this morning and the same tool says available today for pickup. This place has such huge variety of inventory they might put a few local stores out of business. They have hardware, farm equipment, clothing, boots, fencing materials, livestock feed and bedding and more. For the record, I might suggest to locals that you check here before running to one of the other, way more expensive hardware stores in town, or running down the hill to Home Depot. So why only 4 stars? They don't offer dog training classes. When I asked if they would consider having classes (I was looking for a place to conduct classes) the manager said no, due to a liability issue. Hmm, right. But you have dog vaccination clinics on weekends...What's the difference? One might be tempted to say the veterinarian who does the vaccinations carries their own insurance.... I love Tractor Supply Store! ALL employees are super friendly. Stuff is easy to find and is competitively priced. I usually go in there for my chicken and bunny needs, though they've been out of the 2 gallon metal chicken waterers for a bit. I ended up getting one at Elstons. When my 9 year old daughter was selling bags she sewed to raise money for the Ramona Relay For Life, it was a windy day so they invited her to set her stuff up inside the store. THAT was incredibly thoughtful and she raised a lot of money to fight cancer on that day. They support local 4H and FFA so, I'll support this local store! read more

This is without a doubt the worst excuse for a company. They are not Vet friendly and they are not the kind of place you would expect to be in a quaint little town such as Ramona. I understand they are convenient and have the necessary supplies that a lot of farms and ranches need in this town, but they have really horrible standards and no compassion for anyone except their cash register. They ruined my Christmas and were unapologetic, the manager there is a sorry excuse for a human being, they should not exist anywhere in California or the rest of the country. Poor wages, sorry management, BS excuses, and lack of common courtesy and empathy for fellow Americans. Today I tried to buy some feed. People are standing outside because they would only allow a certain amount of customers in at a time. This has never happened to me before during covid. There is never more than 5 people in this store and it is a large store. Many people left when I was outside. People are tired of being treated this way and will stop shopping here. I don't think this is covid protecol they are just doing this on their own. They are regularly out of my horse feed. They are great with the greeting at the door but no real customer service. Will be shopping at the small business owners in town from now on like Elstons. They have great customer service. read more

It made it very easy to find what I needed for my pick up, then get what I needed for my dog, and check out some work boots/gloves on my way to the checkout. I've always loved going into "Tractor Supply". The store always has just what I needed. Recently I've had a big infestation of ants. The ants are so nasty this year and it seems that no matter what I do they get into everything. I thought that I would find a container to hold my 50 lbs of dog food. My dogs would have their dry dog food free of ants,. I wouldn't have to throw out the ant infested food. I went online to see what "Tractor Supply might offer in this area. I found a great container, clicked on my store to see if the container was available at our Ramona store . It was. I made the purchase. I live about 25 miles from the nearest "Tractor Supply". I don't make the long drive unless I have to. I checked to make sure the container was in stock. According to the "Tractor Supply" site , the container was in stock.. I drove the 25 miles or so to the store only to find that it was not in stock and the customer service person (Don) told me that the store had expected to have a shipment in but it was delayed somewhere coming from Tucson. I was a bit unnerved but I can understand a glitch. I was told the shipment would be in by 8 the next morning. I gave it until 1pm then called. The shipment had arrived but the pallets had not been put out. I had been feeding from small bags of dry food and it was getting pricey. I went in the following night almost at closing, expecting to finally get my container. No luck the container was not in. I had to buy food for my two big dogs. I had ordered the food along with the container so I thought the store would just let me take it from the order I purchased online. No that was not the case. I had to pay for it at the cash register. I was told that when I settled up with my order the food would be deducted. To make and already long story shorter, I ended up paying twice for the 50 lbs of dog food and never did get my container. "Don" the customer service guy, told me he had cancelled the container order, yet my credit card was billed and I paid twice for dog food. Who is representing the online orders. I am so displeased, upset and pissed off. It is a terrible way to do business who is managing that place anyway. read more

I have been a customer since the Ramona CA store opened. Today 26JUL2020 TSC confirmed that my family is not a valued customer. We into the store today about 1230, got in line about 1245 (about 7 customers deep) the store finally opened a seconded register. I moved over to that line so I could get away from the counter in the middle of the store. As the customer in front of me (in the new line) cleared, I approached the cashier. The cashier asked me if I was in line and I said yes, when you open your line I moved over so that I could socially distance the other customers. The cashier told me she "could not check me out and that I had to get back into line as they only wanted one line for check out. I asked the cashier if she was sure as she stated "yes". I left the items at the register and walked out. Three employees at the front end did not care why a customer was dissatisfied and walking out. Sad day at TSC when customers do not matter to the company. I will take my business to the local stores Elston Hay and Grain, Kahoots, or the Livery before I go back to TSC. read more

Can find better prices at other local stores. For example, trailer wheel bearing seals are about $9 each, but $2 at All About Fun. Tools and equipment are same quality as Harbor Freight. read more
