Very kind and knowledgeable new owner. Found a great retro sign for a gift. Fair pricing! Enjoyed browsing in his shop. Will be back soon.

We had just bought something from the store down the street, and we had a bag with us. We walked in, and a heavier set, Caucasian woman, greeted us and asked us if we came in for anything specific. We said no we're just looking around. My husband was showing me a shirt that he thought I might like, and I kind of walked off to the left to continue looking around, and when I turned the corner, I hear this woman yelling out at my husband, saying " are you gonna pay for that shirt that you just put in that bag".. mind you, my husband, and I are military, and upstanding citizens. We are a part of the minority group, we are mixed with Hispanic, African-American, Brazilian, and so our skin is not White, we are more on the tan side, brown. He stops, and then looks at her and asked her to repeat herself and she said "that shirt that you just put inside that bag", and snatches at his bag, and pulls out the shirt that we bought from the previous store. She looks at us, embarrassed, and says "oh, I'm really sorry". Naturally, the response would be anger, but instead, I taught this woman a lesson. I informed her that just because she might not see people of our ethnicity around here very often, not to assume the worst. And definitely not to judge us, based upon our color. Assuming we are thieves is NOT good business and will never be acceptable. Having a racist and profiling type of mentality is not good for business, or for any paying customer. We did not make a fuss after I taught her a racial lesson, we then simply told her we will not be buying anything from the store and that we hope she thinks twice before doing that to another set of minority people. I would advise anybody of the minority group to not enter this store, if you do, do not let anyone racially profile you without speaking up. I think that management needs to definitely look at who is representing the store, and if that woman was the owner, she's got a long way to go to fit in, in this day and age.
