It is so very hard for small store-front businesses to make a profitable "go" any longer, and this is yet another example. They will be missed, and I hope the employees can find work elsewhere. Chino Valley is a disaster in many ways, including the weather (think 40mph+ wind throughout spring, Dust Devils, 95+ degree summer weather, and hard freezes in winter) be it fine dining (except for Essence and El Charro, perhaps), quality grocery stores, entertainment, or navigating the city's road potholes everywhere. I can see why octogenarians aren't bothered, with many of them traversing into Prescott via emergency ambulance every day.

The other ladies Karen and Tammie are equally helpful, informative and courteous. This place has an eclectic and curated mix of everything you might want or need to decorate your home. With an impeccable sense for design, April is also a wealth of information for local resources from window cleaning to furniture re-upholstery. I have found several treasures to finish my home decor and also have had the pleasure of consigning with her many of my own cherished pieces that I simply did not have room for after downsizing. I highly recommend Three Sisters Consignment. It is a delight to do business with them as a consignor or customer.

The store is both clean and very well merchandised. I immediately found just the piece I was looking for, sadly it was just sold and waiting to be picked up. The owner told me they were getting another big truckload in just a couple days, but they move stuff quick! So, I will check back often, especially since I drive past several times weekly. Oh yeah, they also put a few pieces out front in easy view as you drive by. Pretty cool... and smart! I did find a very inexpensive used shelving rack, a type I have been wanting for some time. I was initially drawn in by the large signs advertising "TRIFT STORE". Since it was displayed on multiple signs, I assumed the misspelling was not accidental. Indeed, there's a sweet story behind the name that you should ask about when you visit. Their prices are average to low, depending on what you're buying. The selection of books and records is massive, well-organized, and really cheap (25 cent paperbacks, 50 cent hardcovers). They have average clothing prices, and a wide selection of sizes. I only had 45 minutes or so to poke around, but I could have spent hours! I ended up with a couple books and a set of ceramic coasters. Worth a look!

The head honchos at the DAV all know about Aaron and his wonderful work at the register, over charging people for things that are marked less and his absolutely rude attitude towards some people. They do not mind. They don't mind if a man is rude to countless people, rips off hundreds and hundreds of people for years and years, as long as they keep pulling in those dollars to keep those recovery people coming in and working the thrift store, they do not care how badly Aaron treats their paying customers. Or if he is charging the prices that are posted. I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that if a woman acted the way Aaron does to customers, she would have been FIRED years ago. The fact that there has been SO many complaints about him for years and years, and not one disciplinary action has been taken, shows his behavior is ALL FINE AND GOOD. He deserves a paycheck, and security in his job, because..... he's ...a man? What could be the reason he still has this job, and nothing about his attitude changes?
