Whenever Franklin Agway was out of something I needed in the past, I would normally go to Tractor Supply. However with their recent corporate change closing done all DE&I and LGBTQ type of support, I needed a new feed store. As I will no longer shop at Tractor Supply. So I tried Feeds 'n Needs! Great place, super friendly folks, helped me get the right chicken feed for the current situation of my hens. I knew when I parked as I saw a few chickens walking around outside that I had found the right place! A+ and I've already told all my friends who were previously Agway shoppers and are refusing to go to Tractor Supply now that Feeds 'n Needs is the place to go!

I can't speak about the livestock feeds offered, but there's usually some farmer's truck backed into the loading dock picking up supplies. They have a variety of pet foods. Decent selection of toys, leashes, etc. Prices are reasonable. Today I was looking for a new hoe to tackle weeds that, of course, are doing better than my perennials after this brutal winter. They didn't have the stirrup hoe I was wanting, but found something that will do just as well. Saw some lovely pansies and violas and couldn't resist the uplifting colors. Nearly picked out some herbs from the greenhouse (locally grown in New England) but with a lingering risk of frost, I'll hold off a bit longer. The checkout counter has been relocated since my last visit awhile back. It's moved from the right side back wall to more in the center of the store, allowing for more than one customer to be cashed out at a time speeding things up a bit, but the store is crammed full, so still a tight squeeze at busy times. Staff are very knowledgeable and courteous.

Some of the bigger names to include is the new Tuscan Market Basket, LL Bean, Tuscan Kitchen and Market, Mass General Brigham Medical Center, WHole Foods (Still being built), and Capital Grill. I have gone and checked out several business over the last few years with mixed results. Many of the stores and restaurants are expensive (being compared to other stores and restaurants outside the village). Parking can also be an issue- I have given up a few times and left when I could not find free parking. I am not a big shopper so I dont go that much. Im local and when I do go, it can be overwelming as there are so many people and cars.
