Primark is an Irish retailer of affordable fashion for men, women and children. Other locations also carry home items, but not the Danbury location. They are very popular across the British Isles as well as several countries across Europe. The Primark in Danbury is part of the Danbury Fair Mall, the good news is you can access it as its own store, no need to go through the mall. This store is massive, there were so many shoes when we first walked in. There's hair accessories, purses and other small knickknacks. The clothes aren't super organized. The hangers are marked with various sizes, but they are actually all random sizes hung on random hangers. This was everywhere, same with the shoes. I am a bit selective when it comes to clothes shopping, I prefer my items to be mostly cotton. Cotton items were difficult to find or non existent at Primark. We spent two hours here and all I found were two items. Keeping in mind that they are a fast fashion retailer, the quality isn't always there. Loose strings, uneven stitching, unavailable sizes are all a part of the gamble. The wait to access a fitting room was surprisingly fast and efficient. The line to check out was long but moved fast, due to several open registers. I'm glad I experienced Primark, while they aren't for me, they might be for you. Marshalls, Target and Amazon are more accessible for me.

I went to Marshall's on 8/12 in Brewster and parked my new car. I came out and a shopping card was…read moreplowed into my brand new car. I was furious. Asked Marshall's if the have camera in the parking lot and was told no by a manager named David. So I contacted headquarters and put a claim in. Spoke to the adjuster and she told me they have general liability but does not cover shopping carts damage to cars which I found crazy. So of course I am out $450 due to someone being careless. The adjuster mention that someone does go out and bring the carts back to the store which I told her there is always cart in the parking lot. I am so frustrated that people can't bring the carts back to the store. I am not the only one that had this problem. I wish other individuals would complain about this issue and report it to Marshall's headquarters.

My husband tends to spend too much money here, but we get some of that back in Kohl's cash so I can't complain too much. I've been going to TJ Maxx, Marshall's & home goods since forever and always wondered what Sierra was like. There were never any close enough to me but I'm always in CT now and was glad I found this one. If you've never been, they carry a lot of hiking, gym, & outdoor gear but for Marshall's prices. They are very reasonable and also have the best pet section! Tons of reasonable toys and supplies for your fur baby. If you're planning a camping, hiking or outdoorsy trip, this should be your first stop- they have everything and more that you'll need!
