I come to this Tractor Supply regularly for dog food, treats, or sometimes just to browse. The last few times I've been here, they've been short-staffed, and coming from a retail background myself, I completely understand how tough that can be. Despite that, the manager, Miguel, is always working hard and apologizes for any delays while doing his best to help everyone in a timely manner. Today I witnessed a situation where a customer came in with a dog off leash. Miguel calmly and respectfully explained the store policy about keeping dogs on a leash for safety reasons. The customer became defensive and rude, even calling him names, but Miguel stayed professional the entire time and handled the situation with patience and respect. On top of that, he still went out of his way to help me find the dog food I needed while I was checking out. That kind of customer service and composure under pressure deserves recognition. Miguel is doing a great job, especially considering the staffing challenges. I hope corporate and other customers recognize the effort he puts in every day. People like him make the shopping experience better. read more

I have recently moved to Madera, CA. I needed to get a lawn mower for the new house. I searched online for an eco friendly unit. I was pleased to see Tractor Supply had one in stock. I ordered one but had some difficulty and had to call the store. I am a Neighborhood Club Member at TSC. I am also a Air Force Veteran. I took advantage of my free delivery. And Brianna took my Veterans discount (Fourth of July) off manually. I was truly happy to know my new TSC go to store will not disappoint me. The customer service was outstanding. Team Member, Brianna, super helpful. Leadership skills goes from the top down. It is clear, to me, the store management is doing their job to ensure Team Members are clear how important top customer service is in today's retail competitive world. This review is for communication ! Ordered some Halloween decorations because I had a coupon for free delivery. When I pressed add to cart it said the free shipping would show at checkout. At checkout it was charging me shipping so I opted for free store pickup. Picked up my items and came home. Checked my messages and Tractor Supply left a message saying he could deliver it to me because I had Free Shipping. What the Hell?? read more

They offer a free delivery after you buy enough. Then they charge you for the delivery. Watch your receipts! Then you must drive all the way back to town with all your stuff to get it sorted out. They wont solve the problem on the phone. read more

I have been to this store 3 times now, each time looking for something out of the normal. Like a 115 volt portable wench, heavy-duty casters, and some heavy stock metal angles. Well they have some of the things I was looking for but not everything but I kinda knew that I would have to go to a industrial store. Great store!! Cheap prices, so darn clean!! 40lb bag of the most basic dog food was $12.99 plus tax. Ended up with 2. Actually, it's for my cats and if they don't like it they can start hunting like they should be doing. Oh yeah and a 4x8 utility trailer is $599 outside. Absolutely no customer service. I've been unhappy with this store for months, but today was the last straw. I will never go back. I spend at least $175 a month here and to be treated so poorly is not acceptable. I purchased several bags of feed and a salt block. They told me I had to go out front and get the salt block. They had been sitting in the rain and most were at least half dissolved. I asked a store employee to help me move the bad ones and he just looked at me and walked away. So I had to move them myself and cut my hand doing so. I told the store manager I cut myself on the salt and asked for a bandage. He just said to ask at the counter, where I was given a paper towel. I will be buying my feed and farm supplies from a local store that understands what customer service is. No one has ever offered to carry my feed to my car either. read more

I purchased some bareroot Liatris bulbs for my Mom. She discovered they rotted in the package and they smelled like shit. I contacted the store manager where I was told they couldn't refund my money since it's been a month. So essentially shit of luck for $6.00 and total loss on the plants. Next time I'll buy them at Lowe's they return perennial plants that fail to grow. I am never going back there for anything. read more

so this was the best place to get propane in madera. cheap fast friendly. but the last few months they have fallen off the wagon. waited 30 minutes no one came to help. said someone would be out waited went back said only one person is certified to operate the propane tank and was too busy to help. read more
