I placed an online order for dog food through Tractor Supply, expecting it to be delivered as promised -- but it never arrived. After waiting, I had no choice but to go into the store myself. What made it more frustrating was that I couldn't even cancel the original order online. I ended up having to purchase another bag in person just to make sure my dog didn't go without food. A customer's personal information was given to a non store customer who telephoned the store manager to identify a person who may have abandoned a Tractor Supply rental trailer. The caller then telephoned the store customer and was told they were the last customer to have rented the trailer from tractor supply and at the store manager provided them their name and telephone number to call to inquire about the potential abandoned rental trailer. This is a violation of Federal law, releasing private information on store customers out to public entities. As it turns out the store customer that was called was not the current renter of the trailer but had rented the trailer about a week ago and had since returned the trailer. The trailer are rented for a maximum of 24 hours. The local Tractor Supply Stores do not keep either an electronic record or any physical written record of anyone that rents a trailer. The information that was provided indicates that the local tractor supply stores input the renters information into the computer and it is uploaded into corporate records, but the local Tractor Supply store cannot later access the information to advise of when the trailer will be returned for a future customer. What is alarming is the public person being able to call the store and the store releasing personal information of store customers is provided to the public without the store customers consent. The manager should've called the store customer to make an inquiry about the trailer if they were the current renter of any trailer. The store employee was being extremely lazy and for the mismanagement of handling assets for rentals for the tractor supply company. read more

As a local ranch manager, I've been to this particular location several times in the past and every experience is uncomfortable and frustrating at checkout. Tonight was no exception. I went in to buy a new toolbox for my truck and literally stood there for 10-minutes as the cashier casually held a conversation with a customer who had already paid for their bag of dogfood. I felt like I didn't matter at all as they talked on and on. I stood there with my hands in my pocket, cleared my throat a couple times but they just kept on talking about things that had nothing to do with the store. So I left. I understand that the cashier girl was just being nice but at some point she should have said "if you'll excuse me, I need to tend to the next customer. Finally got to check this store out. I have heard they have a great pet section and they do! They have several high-quality brands of food and a great selection of toys. I also was surprised to learn they had a dog washing station. The station was well equipped and there are bathing and drying sections as well as various tools for use. It is only 9.99 to use the wash, which is the cheapest I have found. Most places charge $12-$15. The employees were talkative and friendly as well. They were very personable and that was a nice change of pace. This store reminds me of a few stores I encountered when I visited Tennessee. They have a little bit of this and that and everything inbetween. Trust me, this place isn't just for tractors, there is a lot of cool stuff in there! Definitely check it out! Don't let the name of this store deter you from stopping by, because guess what, I don't own a Tractor either! Found out they had a DIY Pet Wash station, so we brought our Golden in for a lil scrub a dub dub. She loves to roll in the grass after fetching each ball thrown. So, if you can imagine, her golden locks are always a bit filthy. For $9.99, you have access to a room containing two tubs at waist height (there's a small ramp so pets can climb up). An apron, 2 towels, a brush, and air dryer are provided. Shampoo and Conditioner are conveniently available in arms reach of the spray hose. We just paid in advance at the register and it took us about a half hour to wash her. Note: the pet wash closes 1-hour earlier than the store itself. So, on a weekday, we had to be in by 6pm. After the wash, we perused the store, which was full of pet food and other feed for the farm. There's supplies for gardening, sporting goods, clothing, tools, chicken coops, wheelbarrows, and yep, tractors! There's so much more. It's a pretty big store. Customer service was super friendly over the phone and in person! Will definitely be back, especially for more rounds at the Pet Wash. read more

The family wanted to get out and look at some country / cowboy stuff . This is a cool place with a little bit of everything . We even got to see some baby chicks . Lots of shirts , hats , and of course farming supplies . You need a new lawnmower , well come on in . How about a side by side ? They have toys for the kiddies too and snacks like Moon Pies . They also sell food for your pets and toys . I got my cats a rubber ball with a bell in it and feathers . I also bought a Chevy Truck shirt for cheap . The employees were nice and didn't follow you around like some places do . We had a good time looking at some stuff . My son got a packet of different size batteries , the round coin like ones for like your rifle scope , etc . His wife got a wooden train whistle to mess with him and she had never seen one before , so she likes it . read more

I don't recommend it for the dog wash station. 6 weeks ago I was there and the spring on the door was broken. Allowing the door to be easily pushed open. I have a 72 pound Labrador that is full of energy and very capable of pushing that door open with the condition it's in. I don't need to be chasing her around the store or even taking a chance of her running out onto Blue Diamond or Rainbow for that matter. Now this was 6 weeks ago that I first took notice of this. Fast forward, 6 weeks later, the other day I brought my dog there again and the spring on the door is still broken. The door was wide open when I got there and yet there is a sign saying that the door must be kept closed at all times. They had 6 weeks to fix this problem and it's still broken. I can only say one thing. The manager doesn't give a shit. Plus the one shower handle is broken. With there track record of not giving a shit, I'm sure it will still be broken 2 months from now. And the switch on the other shower handle is hard to use with soap on your hands. It should be a squeeze grip like the broken one has. Also, one of the times I was there, I had paid for a bath, bathed my dog and then discovered that there were no towels left. When I had asked one of the workers, they said that there were no clean towels and I can just use the air dryer. First of all, my dog is afraid of the air dryer. And why would I ask for towels if I could use an air dyer anyway. Why not just keep on top of things. Like fix a door promptly to protect our animals. Again, it all just boils back to one thing. A manager who doesn't give a shit. It's 4th of July weekend. I will be calling corporate on Monday about this. read more

Going to tractor supply is like going to Whole Foods vs going to Home Depot is going to Walmart. Just in my own opinion. Lol. Everything is so nicely presented and organized. They even got live music! I've never seen that before at a gardening/tool shop. Also some weekends they have food truck events outside so you can get some food and then start wander around for things you don't need but definitely buying. They also had a good price on a 10pk of cow hooves but I suspect I could have gotten them cheaper elsewhere. They have lots of unique items that I have not seen anywhere else but overpriced. I noticed common dog toys were 3x more expensive here than they are everywhere else in town- for the exact same toy- which is rather discouraging. Due to not needing that dog food anymore, the location being quite a distance from my home and the high prices, I won't be returning. read more

So this is the 3rd time I have shopped at this store. Mainly for kerosene for my heater. On my first trip I bought kerosene and had to have the price modified because it was ringing up incorrect at the register. I also mentioned to the cashier that the battery powered kerosene pumps were labeled 2.99 but were ringing up 19.99. An understandable mistake. She said they would correct it and I left the pump there. 3 days later and I am buying more kerosene and wouldn't ya know the pumps are still 2.99 and haven't been touched. Also the two ladies by the clothing could care less about me wanting kerosene they were too busy price checking clothes for themselves it looked like to me. When I mentioned to the cashier about the pumps again being marked wrong and I was just in there 3 days earlier and had told them of the same issue.. she said oh so and so was supposed to changed that and he didn't... now today I do an online order for kerosene which the online system says they have 4 of the 5 gallon cans in stock.10 minutes later I get a notice of cancellation because item is out of stock. Fantastic store. Very well stocked. First time in. Very helpful associates. Went to buy a safe but saw one on line that even said to go to Tractor Supply if any questions. The safe was a lot less money. But it was a little to cheap and later found out that this was probably a scam. So have not got my safe yet but was very impressed with the store. I'm using my wife's account because I don't have one, but I have to share because I've never been so happy with customer service before. Sherri, the manager, and Alex were two of the nicest people I have ever met. Sherri was extremely knowledgeable, and spoke to me and my wife about her ducks at home. My wife just lost two of her baby chicks at home, so she's been extremely sad because they were her pets... she cried all day when she lost them. Sherri was the most sympathetic person and was so kind to her. She helped her pick out some more chicks and made her day. She was so happy she cried the whole way home. Thank you Sherri for being so amazing and sweet. You made my wife the happiest woman today. She hasn't stopped crying, in a good way and she's enjoying her new chicks. Alex is also a great employee. Everytime we come into the store he is very happy and welcoming. We always talk about how nice he is whenever we leave the store. He's always willing to help. Overall, this store has stood out entirely because of their employees. They have great product, but these two employees are incredible and they deserve to know it. Tractor supply has the widest selection of horse feed in our area, Clark county Nevada. My problems are with the staff and I've been going there for a bit over two years. They don't call you when your order arrives at the store, if it was even placed, when you gave them your name in person. I live almost an hour drive depending on traffic so I call to see if my order is there, they tell me yes, I drive all the way across town in 100+ degrees and my order in fact is not there. So I tried doing curbside pickup because I'm just tired of being nice to incompetent people, they forget a bag while loading and load 2 bags of the wrong feed. I absolutely should've checked to make sure they were the right ones and I actually said it out loud on the way home, but I didn't. So I had to drive all the way back to exchange feed. The cashier couldn't figure out that I was given the wrong feed and I had already paid for the feed I wanted. Simple exchange, give me the feed I bought take the feed they wrongfully gave me...nope after fumbling through entering numbers and scanning barcodes multiple times she's says I owe them. How about they owe me for the gas I waste on their incompetence?!?!?! read more

Want to start out by saying my first experience in TS was great, we brought my dog there to use the self service bath and it was a great deal for it being $10. However the second time I didn't get so lucky. My dog needed an emergency bath and I'm unable to give her one at my house inside. The store is open until 9 pm and on the website there is NO indication that the bath stalls will be closing early for cleaning everyday. I showed up at 7:30pm an hour and a half before the store closes and I get turned away because the stalls were "closed for cleaning". I drove 40 minutes, since there's only two TS locations in all of LV and wasted a bunch of gas and time. My dog also hates car rides so I made her sit through over an hour and a half of being in the car because TS didn't want to let her get a 10 minute bath. Also, the first time we went it wasn't cleaned before we used it, there was a bunch of other dog hair in the tub, so it's not like the bath stalls are cleaned between each use. I just think they didn't want to let me back there. Anyways super inconvenient and I ended up having to give my dog a bath outback at 8:45pm with cold water when it was about 45 degrees outside.
