Been visiting the store in Helotes, Texas and I just wanna say that my experience has been nothing short of INCREDIBLE!! AMAZING and just AWESOME ! For starters the best cashier all 3 times that I went there in April of 2026 is PATTY i should have gotten her last name ... anyways she is so sweet and extremely helpful and she answered all my questions. To whoever hired her .. hit the jackpot with her . I've been in management most of my life and it's hard to find employees like her . Wish more employers had people like her all over San Antonio ... SHE IS DEFINITELY A KEEPER !!! She was so professional and knew her stuff .. she explained things about products I knew nothing about !!! Like that new mosquito thingy I bought ... and some of the tools I bought she explained how and what it's used for !!! Wow I'm super impressed . I was disappointed with the inaccurate information that was given to me. I like to plan things out so I called ahead to see if there would be propane service available later that day. The worker on the phone said oh yea of course someone will be available until closing time for propane refill. I went later around 7:15pm with my tank and all to find out no one in the store could refill my tank. I was going to leave for my camping trip the next day so I had to make alternate plans for the next day. read more

Yehaw! Supply your tractor. I got my tractor beam on here on a Husqvarna leaf blower. I'd had all kinds of trouble with Echo, and thought I'd take Tractor Supply Co. up on their generous sale on leaf blowers, so I headed out to the country. Their prices are like eggs, they're cheaper in the country. The clerk was super helpful about getting the right leaf blower and ensuring that it was carefully unlocked from the shelf. They had a healthy variety of leaf blowers, but the Husqvarna was on sale! In the end, I got the thing home, and nervously pulled the cord a few times, and it started right up! Whrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! They also sell horse gatorade, mane shampoo, and ivermectin here, if you're a stallion. I always like to check out their lawn decorations here. They've always got some of the classiest decor in the south. read more

I bought a product at tractor supply which required construction or assembly after I got it home. I couldn't figure it out for two days so I called tractor supply and spoke to Neda. I brought it in to the tractor supply and Neda very pleasantly fixed my problem and got me back on the way home to complete the assembly. Very good customer service. I am not a country boy ... yet TSC is very approachable for people new to homesteading or gardening. I go for plants and seeds mostly. You can repurpose some of the animal feed and bedding for gardening. Cattle panels are available and I recently found out that Walmart sells the same brand hose that TSC does but TSC offers it CHEAPER! and they offer higher grades as well. Spring time is my favorite. Late Feb to May they will be rotating plants and cuttings in. I got rooted branches for a pear and a plum tree for $15! It's a steal but it will be an exercise in patience vs the trees they have out front for $40. They have rooted plants that are hard to find. Not all are for our growing zone so be sure to do your homework. It is posted on the side of the box though. I got two kinds of grapes with staggered harvesting times. I got a heat and drought resistant flowering plant, rhubarb roots, hazelnut tree, and dew berries. All great deals. read more

I was shopping for a truck box, and was stuck between two options when an associate came across me and offered his help! He helped me choose the right item for my vehicle and my lifestyle; and was more than happy to load it up, take it to the front, and then all the way to my truck. It doesn't sound astonishing, but in reality the help was so genuine that it really made a difference. I was prepared to leave the store that day without a box, if I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I'm very grateful for the customer service here. read more

I've been there 3 times to get propane twice they've told me they didn't have anyone certified on shift. The second time they told me that they'd have someone on shift at 12. I went back at 12 and they were redoing the propane stand (it was obvious this had been planned for awhile) so couldn't help me out. Basically, they need to get more competent management, if you aren't going to have folks on shift, advertise hours that you will. If you can't provide a service for an amount of time, make sure your team knows so they don't tell people to come back later. This review is for the store in Helotes. read more

I love tractor supply but the one in Castroville always appears in chaos. Never enough people to help and always out of a lot of product. I wish the manager would reorganize and get things running properly. I'm glad they are there but often wind up going somewhere else either because there's a long line with one cashier or they are out of what I'm looking for. The latest items were weed killer, work boots, and sanding disc. Just to name a few. UPDATE: went in store in Castroville again today to by spray paint, a trailer tongue lift with wheel and a $259.00 pull behind sprayer. Didn't have sprayer in stock so went to customer service to order one. There was a long line and long wait for customer service so I blew that off and got my other items and went to another long line for check out. Only one cashier with 8 or 10 people in line. The cashier and lady at customer service were the only two people I saw my whole visit there. Again this place is in chaos. I then went to Northern tool, got help right away and bought my sprayer.
