It is a lot more agriculturally based than the agway in Southold - which is a bit more suburban (more lawn decor than chicken feed kind of stuff). It's probably got everything a real farmer needs. Service is pretty good. If what you need isn't in the show room then it might be in the backroom. Just ask. I needed a small pitch fork, which wasn't on display. I asked and low and behold they had one! Prices are a tad high but they have an unadvertised senior citizen discount once a week. I think it's Tuesday! Could be Thursday though. Can not remember. But you have to ask and let them know you are a senior...they don't seem to like to assume if you are a senior or not.

Until then I never realized how large and fully stocked the Pet area is, and soon found how helpful and personable their staff is. I sent a message to the store asking if they had it in stock and promptly received a reply from Store Manager Marie, as put it aside for me to pick up. Turns out the product has been discontinued, but they recently received one bottle. Thank you Marie for helping us out, and hope the company continues to send them to you. As noted above, we've found your entire staff to be outstanding in all regards, summer kids included. We hope and pray you all stay safe and healthy during this Pandemic, and hopefully I'll be back soon for "lawn and garden" supplies. We've gotten dog treats here too. Our German Shepherd likes the Earth Animal No Hide chews that come in different flavors. We have not been able to find these anyway else local. When ever I go to my vehicle my order is loaded and the order is correct. There is nothing more annoying then getting feed for different animals and getting home to find its not what you asked for! The store is larger then most feed stores, the parking is plentiful. The prices are comparable to other Agways but again the selection here blows the Middletown, and the Colechester locations away.
