I have shopped so many antique and consignment shops in Greensboro, but I have never been here before. Firstly, it is not consignment. There are individual dealers in separate booths. It is a bit more consistently upscale then the other places I have been to, but that does not take away from the sheer pleasure of browsing. I would say it is moderately priced items and not the type of antique shop you are afraid to bump into something for fear of damaging something irreplaceable. I guess it really depends on your pocket book. Something's I found very affordable, something's were just out of my reach. They have smalls, furniture, decor and lovely oil paintings. I love ceramics so I enjoyed looking at lovely plates and colorful ginger jars. Wherever you looked, there was something interesting to see. The dealers just have magnificent taste in their collections and in how they merchandise their wares. There is a large parking lot in front. Just go and have fun. That's what we did!

They have such a huge array of items, from home decor, to bedding, to kitchen items (like pots and pans, plate, glasses, utensils, and so on), art, food/snacks, furniture, and so much more. Pricing is hit or miss, some items, are well priced, others are bit high in my opinion. I guess it's all in what you're willing to pay. We didn't have any luck finding the rug, but found a few other small items . The only interaction we had with staff was at the register, and it was fine. They were friendly, got us checked out and we were on our way.

We had trouble finding a specific carpet we saw on the racks, so pushed a button on the end of the aisle to call an assosciate, and I've got to admit, I was surprised when she not only showed up, but in just a few minutes. At Home gets bonus point for that, unlike other stores, where you can push the button, and no one ever comes to help. In the end, we found the carpet, along with a few other small items. Pricing, is very reasonable, that being said, most of their products probably aren't meant to last a life time, but you get what you pay for, and if you take care of your stuff, it will hold up. I'll definitely be returning in the spring to pick up some outdoor patio seating!

On this visit, we bought a picture frame, got home opened it up, and it was too flimsy to even hold what we bought it for. Another annoying detail is their weekly sales. It seems everything in the store is generally on sale for 40-50% off every other week. So if you go to buy something and it's not on sale, it probably will be in a few days. They are clearly making a profit even when things are on sale, I wish they would just offer the sale pricing all the time.
