Absolutely loved the vibe of this little Greensboro Greenhouse. Yes, there are plants galore in a variety of sizes and genera, not to mention the pots. But does it stop there? Not a chance. Fill your homely heart with accessories for the desk and gifts for any friend. There is a giant wall of stickers spanning a range of subjects, but generally seeming to lean towards feminism and other more liberal themes. The selection of journals was what caught my eye the most of all. Don't forget the assortment of books, gift cards, and postcards. For the one-half greenhouse, it's another half paperie/stationery shop. For me, the prices were on the high side. That wouldn't stop me, of course, from snagging a journal and a pen in the future, though. It just so happens that, as an avid journaler, I already have a stack of blank journals patiently waiting their turn. The owners were friendly and even had a little dog roaming around happily going about its day. A friend and I stopped into the tiny greenhouse yesterday and I was so impressed with their selection of plants, pots, and gifts. I already cannot wait to go back. When I saw I was 8 minutes from the tiny greenhouse I had to stop in before I headed back to Lexington. I knew I would leave with one plant baby but I ended up with two. They have so many plants to choose from and the pots are absolutely to die for. The Tiny Greenhouse is a charming shop run by a lovely husband and wife team. While the main theme is plants of all types in lovely pots, the shop is so much more. I went in to buy a hostess gift and I told one of the owner's that I was looking for a plant to bring to a friend that was hosting a weekend retreat. I told them approximately what I wanted to spend. They told me that I could mix and match any plant with any pot. The plants were priced individually as well as the pots. So I was able to pick and chose what I liked until I came up with what I wanted to spend. The owner tied a pretty bow around it for me. It was so much fun to look around this shop. Every corner was packed with colorful gifts and eye catching items. The back of the shop has a disco ball reflecting specks of light to add to the vibe. There are tee shirts, tote bags, stickers, greeting cards, jewelry, terrarium items and so much more. Go see for yourself. It's a bit on the pricy side, but the selection and quality of merchandise along with the service makes it totally worth the price. read more

Absolutely satisfied with my recent visit to the Tiny Greenhouse. I have been here once before and was intrigued by all of various plants, products, custom items they had. This recent visit, I went alone in search of a surprise gift for my partner. The employees were very helpful with my questions (I honestly don't know a thing about plants), as well as taking the time to be very kind and helpful...even wrapping and putting the items I got in a very nice looking gift bag. If you're a cactus person, this is definitely the place to go as they have a good unique variety as well as many other plants and floral items. There are also many books, stationary, and other cool items you would not find in normal stores. They specialize in house plants such as small succulents, air plants, peperomia, pythos, sansiveria, lilies, ferns all the way to fiddle leaf figs and the options are always evolving. If you have any questions on care Edgar is very knowledgeable and always happy to help. You can also find great pots for all of your plants that have more personality than most you will find in a big box store. They also have an array of other items such as children's toys, candles, books, jewelry along with a variety of household items. For the holidays you can find garlands, ornaments and great gifts. I love plants by I always end up killing them (I know, I know; terrible of me). Anyways I recently looked into getting succulents because they seem hard to kill. So I googled local places and turns out TTG is like across from my job so I had to check it out. First of all, this place smells AMAZING inside and the music being played is freaking soothing. The store is set up to not only carry plants but other knick-knacks. Secondly and most importantly the owner is super nice and willing to chat about which plants are hard to kill. I ended up leaving with like 10 small succulents which like 4 months level are still surviving (fingers crossed). Thirdly, the set up is super cute.
