The Tiny Greenhouse - Fun stickers

Absolutely loved the vibe of this little Greensboro Greenhouse. Yes, there are plants galore in a…read morevariety of sizes and genera, not to mention the pots. But does it stop there? Not a chance. Fill your homely heart with accessories for the desk and gifts for any friend. There is a giant wall of stickers spanning a range of subjects, but generally seeming to lean towards feminism and other more liberal themes. The selection of journals was what caught my eye the most of all. Don't forget the assortment of books, gift cards, and postcards. For the one-half greenhouse, it's another half paperie/stationery shop. For me, the prices were on the high side. That wouldn't stop me, of course, from snagging a journal and a pen in the future, though. It just so happens that, as an avid journaler, I already have a stack of blank journals patiently waiting their turn. The owners were friendly and even had a little dog roaming around happily going about its day. The plants were an inspiration, and now I want to propagate my own pothos into tiny little self-painted and designed pots rescued from the thrift store!

This is the cutest shop! They have a ton of options for cute plants and great gifts. I bought a…read moreplant and two cards. They have a great selection of notebooks, cards, plants, snacks, artist tools, beauty products and plant tools. The owners are so nice and knowledgeable. The store is so vibrant and modern. I enjoyed every section. You should definitely visit.

BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINES WITH WEST ELM…read more Worst service of any furniture provider I have ever worked with. Placed an order for tens of thousands of dollars of furniture. Had to spend no less than 30 hours on the phone trying to correct errant deliveries, items that were broken, etc. Multiple items are falling apart after 8-10 months and West Elm is denying any responsibility and declining to help in any way. I will never buy furniture from West Elm again, and would caution anyone from doing so. Desks have paint chipping at every seam 10 months later, leather chairs have metal and wood poking through the backs of them. West Elm says this is normal wear and tear. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

This was our first visit to any West Elm store. The store is amazing. She was patient and knowledgeable. She looked up things online to help us make our decision. We ended up making a purchase only to come back and exchange it out for the purchase of items only available online. Alex handled everything, the return, and the online purchase- and she made sure to use the free online shipping code! We will definitely be back not only to work on our next home re-do project, but also to shop for gifts. You owe it to yourself to at least walk through this store one time before making your final decisions on your next project.

I receive a phone call from one of my friends around 12:30pm asking if I wanted to meet for lunch…read morebecause they had an appointment in the Friendly Center. I had no plans, so why not! We agreed on 2ish. Well, I arrived around 2:10pm at the restaurant when I get a text saying it would be closer to 3... I was so sad because I was really hungry. My friends tells me to go check out Kirklands, that's how I got here! I procrastinated a bit but it was around 2:20pm on Tuesday afternoon when I visited Kirklands for the first time. When I walked in, Fall time aroma was evident. If I had to guess, I would say the aroma reminded me of pumpkin and/or cinnamon. While looking around, I noticed ample Fall and Halloween decor. The store was running a 25% sale off for Labor Day. I saw some cute mini monogram pumpkins that were $4.19, but of course, they didn't hav a Z for Zay :( Other decor items included pillows, pictures, lamps, pumpkins, furniture, towels, etc. There were two tables with candles. I LOVE candles! The sale price was $8.99. I ended up getting two. One was "Teach, Encourage, Inspire" which was lemon, apple, pear as Summer is wrapping up and the other was "Cafe Macchiato" for the Fall time me or anytime lol. I didn't like many of the offering for seasonal aromas. I'm sure many others would enjoy it. The cashier present was Nancy. She was really friendly and helpful. When I walked in, she helped others but asked me if I needed help with anything and told me about the current sale when she was done. She did the same thing for each customer that came in after me. While checking out, the card machine had some issues and wouldn't accept my card. Around about 3 tries it worked. Nancy stated that "they" we're moving the line underground and wires may have gotten hit. I assume she had been having prior to me because after the first time, she said it wasn't my card. Nonetheless, no biggie. I saw many things that I would buy but nothing I needed. Some things were a big pricey for me too. I typically don't decorate for each season/holiday except Christmas. After my items were paid for, I left to fill my tummy with tacos and a jumbo margarita :)
