When I read my receipt after I returned home, I realized he had not given me the discount! 2 days after Christmas I returned to the store to collect my discount. I was rudely told; how do I know that was a Tuesday, questioning my integrity ! When they finally decided that it was a Tuesday and then went on to refuse to give me the discount! I am 83 years old and disabled, and did not expect to be treated that way ! I would not recommend shopping at Ross!!!

She replied that she wasn't vaxxed and was protecting herself and other shoppers. She was not snarky or pushy, just answered the question. The register lady sort of snort-laughed derisively and said ooooh, ooo-kaay. The shopper left without making a purchase, as did my little group. 1: why did the register person feel the need to accost the shopper? 2: They lost at least 4 purchases in that moment, and I won't be back if I see that lady at the register again. And then I wonder if it was the owner at the register? 3: shops complain about losing business, but if this is what's going on, then yeah, they're losing business. There were many interesting things I would have purchased, had it not been for this interaction.

Today a "greeter" if you could call her that- said no shopping or entrance without a physical member card in hand. When told we have been there many times without, she claimed not possible they have always been this way. Clearly, not true. When a "greeter" argues and doesn't want you to go in, that's a big red flag to take our business elsewhere. I have purchased a few bigger items at a decent price but the rest isn't any bargain at all. So I can get anything there same price or less elsewhere which I will do. Sad. Customer service isn't a high priority for them. Adios.
