I stopped at this Ace Hardware in Elk Grove. It's a couple stores down from Trader Joe's and it was clean and organized like you would think the store had just opened for the day but it was actually near closing. An employee asked if they could help, they pointed me in the right direction and I saw the price didn't match what I saw online. So, I pulled out my phone to see what I saw earlier-- the price online was cheaper. I stood there ordering pick up online so I could pay the cheaper price and the employee that helped me when I came in confirmed-- yes, that happens a lot. Online prices are cheaper. My online order was to be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. It was less than that when they got the order and let me know and brought it to the front cashier where I showed my ID and signed that I picked it up. For the clean store and the helpful and kind staff, I give this place 4 stars. And, now I know to compare with online prices with the in-store price.

He carefully dismantled the area necessary to give him access, placing the freezer door carefully, so as not to scratch our wood floors. The shed selection on site made it easy to pick our options, but we did ask about some extra add ons not on display that really made a huge difference in the look of our sheds. Based on some other shed photos we saw online, we upgraded the doors to the window door and on the shed that we finished, we added 3 small windows on the top long wall and it added so much light, and doesn't prevent tall shelving from being used. If you are getting a shed for a working space, I highly recommend adding those top small windows. We worked with Richard to order everything and he was super chill and no pressure. All the upgrades were things we brought up, and he clearly explained what would/wouldn't work. I felt the upgrades were very reasonably priced. Each shed took one day to build and the friendly crew came out on time each day. It took about 3 weeks to get on their schedule, which was enough time for us to get the space ready for the build.

While we are extremely happy with the quality with all three projects, the chairs are the most impressive, due to the complexity involved in the repeat in the fabric. They even let us check out samples and bring them home to help decide on what we would be installing. Before placing the order, Wade came out and measured our kitchen and helped put together a quote based on the arrangement we wanted. They put together 3D renderings of our kitchen to show us the layout alongside the quote. Their install team did quick work, and overall did a good job for what we paid for. We had a few small issues with caulking and hardware , but the salesperson Wade made sure all the issues were handled promptly.

I'm no professional but I'm pretty good at math and can tell you that measurements weren't accurate. I'm so upset and frustrated that this is such a big deal. I provided this report to the owner who was working at the counter at the time, and he assured me that he could absolutely read the report and had a unit that would fit those specific requirements. He was extremely confident and sold me the mini-split unit. Fast forward to after installing the unit and having the required HERS report done, I was informed by the professionals that this unit did not in fact meet the Title 24 requirements that were provided to Standard Appliances. I spoke with the owner afterwards to let him know this, with the sole purpose of letting him know they may want to pay a bit more attention to the details of the Title 24 report provided to them for the next customer (or victim). The owner proceeded to yell at me and complain that he did nothing wrong, because he is not an engineer. I never asked him to analyze anything as an engineer, I simply asked to buy a unit that was up to the specific requirements for which he had replied confidently he knows exactly how to read these reports. If you prefer to not get yelled at and treated extremely poorly, take your business elsewhere. The owner will yell at you for 5 minutes straight while not listening to any word of reason from you. There are plenty of appliance stores that sell identical products to that of Standard Appliance, and you will be very happy you were not verbally abused.
