She was NOT my groomer this time. I went here for a while and it seems like the groomer was "dog shaming" me. She would tell me how matted my dog was and give her terrible haircuts claiming that she had to. She also said my dog was mean and needed a muzzle. I took them to PetSmart last weekend and they raved about how good she was and that it must have been the old groomer's bad energy that made her like that! I experienced a snotty girl (Abby) who couldn't have been over 17 years old, refuse to sell me goldfish because she didn't like that I was "buying a couple of THEIR cheap plastic fish bowls" demanding sternly "that's not how you care for fish"! Mind you she knew nothing about me, our "fish" situation and didn't bother to ask ANY questions. It didn't matter that I explained to her I had 25+ gallon tanks at home waiting and I knew very well how to care for them. Not to mention an equally as ill trained manager that can't make eye contact or most shameful; corporate headquarters that promised a phone call three times over in the last 6 months but doesn't follow through. My chill cat is out in 2 minutes and my squirmy one is out in 3. They've never hurt them or made their nails bleed or anything like that. $15 every few weeks is so worth the girls having soft feet and not having to go through the battle of trimming them at home. Also the staff is so kind. The person working the register every time I am there is so sweet and helpful. The groomer is gentle with them and takes great care of them. Aside from the general stress of taking my cats out of the house, they are treated great at Wag and the staff is calm and gentle and work to keep the cats safe and calm. They've also got a fun selection of toys, snacks, food, and accessories (if you're lucky enough to have a pet that will wear them ). I totally recommend and will continue bringing my girls here until they give me a reason not to (which I don't foresee). I cannot vouch for the other grooming they do because I've only had my cat's nails done, no other services yet.

Since shedding season has just begun, we decided to take him in for a shed treatment and bath. We heard about this place from my sister-in-law who has taken her dogs there for nail trims. You have to call to make an appointment, but they're really flexible and I didn't have to wait more than a few days to get in. They also asked what my vet was so they could verify the rabies vaccination, which was nice that I didn't have to chase down his records myself. When we took him in, the front desk person was welcoming and help us get all checked in. They asked a few questions about his demeanor, and we assured them that he is mostly a chicken and the most difficult he'll be is he'll freeze up when he gets anxious. They called me about two hours later and he was ready to go. I had to get him within an hour of him finishing. When I got there, I paid first and then they brought him out. He had a super sweet bandanna on, and I could tell that they really worked hard on getting his undercoat out. We haven't had the best experience with de- shed treatments around town as he always comes to us just as hairy. I think some places think that they can get a few minutes of brushing and then call it good but this dude has like three layers of undercoat. You can tell the staff here really spent time on getting that out. Not to mention he smelled SO good. No wet dog smell here. We didn't use any other of their services or do any shopping, but it looks like they had a good selection of products. This isn't our closest local dog store so we probably wouldn't come to just shop but I would return for the grooming services.
