Pros: A good variety of animals. They carry the rabbit food that my bunnies crave! Decent aquarium section. Good deals on tanks. The cages have always been clean. The larger birds are always social and friendly. I would love to bring one (or two) of them home, but their price is hefty. Cons: Staffed by younger individuals that act like typical teenagers. They carry dogs, which makes me sad. They put cat cages up against bird cages. They have bird cages too close to the floor. Overpriced in the critter department. I've visited a lot better pet stores in my lifetime, unfortunately none are nearby. I gave this place a 3, because I still visit the store...even with its faults.

High humidity…read morespecies kept in glass tanks with paper towel, the feces is never cleaned out, the water bowls are rarely filled, there is dark lines on the paper towel from their ceiling leaking into the tank (a lot of tanks and their floor was flooded) they didn't change it for MONTHS. 98% of the snakes have absolutely no hides or caves, are kept on paper towel, and in some cases nothing at all. Animals with layers upon layers of stuck shed and eye caps. The place is riddled with mites and the owner Logan says "if u put a pest strip and soak the animal in bleach it will be fine." He is also a scam artist and the employees agree. One employee admitted that the business is going under. That's why prices are so high and the animals aren't getting the attention they need. The employees also admitted that the owner is not as knowledgeable as he seems to be. He has given me many absolutely wrong husbandry tips and doesn't really know what he's talking about. But, if you aren't knowledgeable yourself you should be able to trust the staff and the owner that they will give u good information. But, unfortunately that doesn't happen here. I saw so many disgusting dreadful tanks and the employees just sit at the front and talk all day instead of cleaning or feeding a lot of their extremely underweight animals. This place needs to be shut down and those animals need to be rescued. Absolutely Disgusting

The manager pointed out the most expensive freshwater small (for now) fish, an electric blue jack Dempsy ($35) and said it was a great starter fish, that it's fine in a 20-gallon tall tank, and would be great partners with a school of glo-tetras. Well as expected they killed him not a day later. Turns out this fish is aggressive and gets up to 8 inches which needs a MUCH bigger tank. Returning fish is sketchy at best here. You need to bring in water and the dead fish, which I understand. They then take it back behind the tanks to run the tests, so who knows what is being said in regards to how your water is testing. I wouldn't trust if the blonde guy would do it because he's said such untrue info on fish to me before. If you try to contest or argue that you want to see it they say they cant bring it out. This has happened several times, to the point where I'm done. Which is a shame. They have a decent collection of fish there, and the GM Doug is super nice. Sadly I'm pretty sure he is one of two nice people there. The rest just don't seem to care.
