They have everything to outfit a basic beginner tank to high end CO2 Aquascape, freshwater tanks and high end coral or fish only saltwater set ups! If you've got a desire for monster South American cichlids, they got you covered there as well. Not into aggressive fish?... then they have high-quality betta fish and guppies in the back. C-Macs employees are very knowledgeable about every aspect of the hobby, and are willing to answer even the simplest questions and provide the best solution for your situation. They don't push sales, but try to fit the needs of every customer. I've been in there when it's super packed and there's barely any room to move and the employees are still positive and happy to share their knowledge and help with everyone. I even asked if they were going to move to a larger location and the owner mentioned, he's been looking, but hasn't found the right one yet. If you're old enough to remember the old Fintastic fish store that was the gold standard in Charlotte. This is basically the new version and to be honest it's even better!

Pricing is on par with other grooming in the area, but I also like the fact that it is more of a small business rather than big box groomers. The location is right in downtown Pineville with ample street parking all around. I also find the inside to be clean. You can see the back a bit which looks sanitary. My only hesitation for pushing to five stars is scheduling. I had to call five times across three days before someone actually answered the phone. There was a voicemail option. I attended the Agility Fundamentals class at Zoom Room in Fort Mill, SC, today, and was…read moredisappointed with the overall experience. I was not satisfied with the approach of the trainer, Talasia C. During the session, she primarily remained standing against the wall and directed instructions toward me from a distance rather than providing hands-on guidance or active coaching. I did not feel supported during the class, and there was little sense of encouragement or kindness in the instruction style. At one point, comments were made suggesting that my dog "needs more classes to get used to the routine," which came across as dismissive rather than helpful or constructive. I also sensed she cut my time short. I was looking for a more engaging and supportive training environment, especially in a foundational-level class where guidance and encouragement are important for both handler and dog. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. I'm sharing in the hope that it helps improve the consistency, coaching approach, and overall experience for future participants.

Our last groomer had complaints about him, and he was never excited to go. The second time I took him to Bow Wow Boutique he started recognizing where we were going and getting excited. The third time I asked him if he wanted to go to the groomer and he bolted to the door and waited excitedly. He always looks great after I pick him up and always smells terrific, but ultimately the most important thing to me is that he is safe, happy, and not stressed out. That's what I get here! It is clear that he is treated well and is not upset about going.
