I'm glad I discovered this store today. In addition to friendly customer service, I noticed the fish and other animals for sale are in clean cages - visibly healthy and well cared for. Merchandise is stocked and brightly arranged. Signage is clear and legible. And this quaint pet shop comes complete with seasonal aquatic plants.

Ashley was great when we first came there to sign the papers, show the shot papers, and pretty much confirming that I was completely fine with her shaving off everything. My dog was a stray puppy that we ended up fostering and fully adopting...she was super matted to a point where my friend and I had been calling her a guy until confirmed by a vet. I knew what I was signing up for. I feel so bad because I dropped off my dog to have her haircut but only made it to the Starbuck's across the street before I received a phone call from Ashley saying that Sadie was starting to get snippy with her when it came to the face area. I came right back to pick Sadie up, where I brought back home a lion instead. I don't mean to LOL, but you would've done the same thing if you saw what I saw...and no, I will not post a picture of the poor fellow. Anyways, Ashley was very professional and informed me of what to prepare for in this situation. I just felt so bad that the outcome and can totally imagine the number of people in the parking lot seeing me bring this lion back to my car. Although the haircut/grooming was not successful, I do plan on coming back here when I'm low on my dog food supply and/or whatever dogs needs. Maybe come back after I have trained Sadie to get familiar with grooming around her face area. I loved Ashley's honesty and honest work. I just feel bad that she handle Sadie's first grooming experience. (Was able to find another groomer who was able to spend more time with my little furbaby when it came to grooming. Sadly, she is no longer a lion and actually looks like a dog now haha.)

I pick up my dog food once a month usually so I have been going there for the past 7months. But today I went in tried picking up my dog food which my sister ordered, but the girl in the front was just completely rude. No, greetings or hi how can I help you and as soon as I walked in she completely looked at me different. Regardless I came in walked up and said I needed to pick up my dog food, she asked can I get a last name. Usually I order my food online myself so knowing my sister bought it this time I used my last name and completely forgot she has gotten married recently and changed her last name. So when I gave her my last name the girl in the front looked at me like I'm crazy but I showed her screenshots with the order number and receipt that shows everything. She completely ignored that and asked for the last name so I just called my sister resolved it and gave her the right last name. After I said the last name she just stares at me for a second gives me a weird look and turned to look at her co worker then she kind of slowly turned around as she's hesitant to give me the dog food. When she did give me the dog food nothing was said no thank you or anything. Kind of sad I've been getting my dog food here for about half a year now and this one incident will have me look for another place to get my dog food from. Maybe try hiring people that will have them come back and not feel uncomfortable JUST TO PICK UP DOG FOOD can't imagine walking around asking for help about food with the kind of enthusiasm that the employee gives off. Great to know that this would be the last time I spend my money here!

However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!

They were curbside only but they were so compassionate and great about having it ready for me each time. The details are a little hazy but I do remember a particular employee going the extra mile for me one time to straighten out my order and get me the paste that my cat needed. Today I was there for the litterbox pellets that my bunny uses, Yesterday's and I was reminded of what great customer service - with a smile - and extension of care this place provides.
