They were more than happy to relieve me of my skateboard and longboard. I had a mortgage to pay. I did not want to risk a broken bone. Time to adult I thought. Five years later my awesome wife got not rollerblading. She wanted me to roll around with her while she practiced. I am not a roller skater nor a roller bladder. I used to be a skateboarder. I told her about Active. How when I was twelve, I used to scrounge up my change to buy bearings and wheels at Active while my mom, brother, and I washed our weekly laundry at the coin-laundry place next door. We live in Vista now. I wanted to check out the Active in Escondido; however, it has since closed. I try to spend local and checked out local skate shops but kept thinking about my old Active. I convinced my wife that we could go to Temecula and pop in for a bite at Old Town after to make it worth the drive. I felt like a kid again walking into Active in Temecula, same shopping center, but in the new location. I had the fortune of meeting Jackson. He is enthusiastic about skateboarding. I told him that this would be my last board, and for me, it was like buying a car. We talked about styles, boards, form versus function, etc. Jackson led me through each category and made me feel confident that I was selecting items that fit my riding style and personal style preferences. This is my favorite board that I have ever owned. The front cashier said my board was dope when ringing out. I already knew, but to hear the first person say it, made me grin from ear-to-ear. I hope Active comes back strong. I will try to spend my money there when I can to support the cause. The Return. Thank you Jackson, the woman in the front, and Active. I felt like a kid again. I made sure to cruise Old Town on my awesome new board to make sure the first ride was in Temecula. Where I grew up. Where I hung out at Active. Where I fell in love with skating. Thank you!

If you're looking for a real estate agent who genuinely puts your best interests first, we can't…read morerecommend Jessica Genung highly enough! As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous and unfamiliar with the process, but from day one, Jessica made everything feel manageable. She's friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient, always taking the time to answer our questions thoroughly and without any pressure. Our home search took over 14 months, and throughout that time, Jessica went above and beyond. Since we didn't live locally, she toured homes for us and sent detailed video walkthroughs. Once we made the decision to purchase a new builder home, she attended all the meetings, inspections, and design appointments with us. She consistently caught things we would have missed and made sure we were protected every step of the way. Jessica's local expertise, especially in Temecula, Menifee, Winchester, and Murrieta, was a huge asset. She gave excellent recommendations, stayed on top of every detail, and never once pushed us to make a decision just to close a deal. It's clear she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in doing things the right way. We actually found Jessica through a YouTube video my sister came across, and we're so glad we reached out. She's professional, easy to work with, and someone you can trust to guide you through one of the biggest decisions of your life. If you're buying or selling a home, Jessica is the agent you want in your corner!

Two of our children moved to Southern California and gave us two grandchildren. Not familiar with the SoCal area I turned to YouTube and did a deep dive into Realtor and Travel produced videos. I found that Jessica Genung's videos were level headed, very education and produced with a professional touch (thanks to her husband Chris). We were able to learn about the Temecula Valley Area of California and decided to take a road trip to visit various neighborhoods and to meet with Jessica. She has a fantastic personality, approachable and low key. Not like many of the "Big Personality" Realtors we've met. We also fell in love with the Temecula Valley area! So after our first meeting we hired her and her team, that of course includes Chris. Using the typical online search tools and Jessica's help we found the perfect home. The home was only on its first open house weekend when we saw it, we knew we needed to move fast! Jessica and the team sent an offer the very next day, AND IT WAS ACCEPTED! The entire purchase transaction was handled smoothly and professionally, the advice and recommendations that Jessica provided were based on many, many years of Real Estate experience. Because we had not been in the home buying market for years, we had many questions. Jessica was always prompt in providing us with timely answers. Overall with The Genung Team's help we feel like we've won the home buying lottery!. If you'd like to learn more about the Temecula Valley Real Estate market and learn more out more about Jessica and the FREE information that she has on Youtube, just Like & Subscribe to their Channel. It was the BEST decision that I've made in a long time! UCft3SB-0NmTluAHWR_VB5mw

To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

I was tempted and seduced with a Banana Truffle, and then I needed more, more, more. We spent more on chocolates than we did touring the animals, and it was worth EVERY penny!!! The animals they have here are all rescues, and many of them have issues, but they have a loving forever home here. With the exception of the Camel and the Bison, we own many of these animals ourselves, but still enjoy interacting with and feeding them. They all were such characters. One of the Alpacas is hysterical, absolutely LOVED him/her, with the goofiest teeth. They all take the treats so nicely and have soft mouths. I got to pet a Zebra (oh yeah, we don't have one of those either). The zebra is so cool and lives in a corral with a Zorse- such a fun experience. I don't care if you already own livestock; this place is a cool spot to stop in, and if nothing else, buy yourself some of the best chocolates you will ever have. When in season, they have Emu eggs available.

It's tucked in a tiny plaza right next to Panda Express, and the parking is super convenient -- there's plenty of space so you don't have to circle forever. This place is absolutely adorable inside, with tons of claw machines full of plushies, anime figures, keychains, gacha machines, and fun collectibles that make your heart go . They also have snacks, drinks, and lots of cute merch to browse while you play! Hours: * Monday-Thursday & Sunday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM * Friday & Saturday: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM These hours make it perfect for an after‑school stop, a weekend outing, or a fun date! Play Card / Ticket Tips: They use a play card system -- you load tickets/credits onto a card and then use it to play the machines. I recommend grabbing enough credits so you can play a few machines without having to reload right away! (It just makes it more fun & less stop‑start.) Pro tip: If you win something, staff are super friendly and happy to help you get your prize out of the machine or exchange it! What I LOVED: The customer service is AMAZING -- had the same sweet lady helping us both times, and she made the visit extra special. So many adorable prizes and anime figurines that are actually worth trying for! Cute shopping vibe, great for kids AND adults who love kawaii stuff! What could be better: One machine wasn't working the day we went -- kind of a bummer! A few machines sometimes have repeats of the same plushies if you've visited before. But honestly, still cute overall! If you're into claw machines, cute anime merch, and fun little hangouts, this place is an absolute must‑visit!

It says it's 3 people per lane and so if you have a bigger group, you have to reserve an additional. We arrived earlier than our reservation. Time but they let us join in early. We quickly signed a waiter and got to our lane. The worker demonstrated the different axes we could throw. There was a small and thin one, small axe, medium axe, long and big axe, and a shovel. I liked the small and thin one best. It's cool because the target is digital and they have tons of different options to pick from. Our favorite was the regular target and the tic tac toe. They had strategy ones as well. I noticed that the board panels were thick and the axes were dull and so it would still, but fall off quickly after. Not sure if I wasn't hitting it with enough power, but even the worker couldn't get his axe to stick when he was demonstrating. You can't drink alcohol inside the building, but there's a bar next door. They let us go back and forth, but that took time away from our hour. They have drinks and snacks for purchase. Overall, it was a really cool experience and a great price compared to some other Axe throwing spots I've seen.
