It took me 45 minutes to get there for no help at all. I'm sure there are other Korean skincare boutiques in Annandale. Dr. Chang is extraordinarily meticulous, talented, and detail-oriented, with an excellent bedside manner. He is warm, thoughtful, reassuring, and clearly takes tremendous pride in his work. He corrected asymmetry and several other issues from my prior breast augmentation by a different surgeon that had left me very unhappy, and the transformation is remarkable. My tummy tuck scar is unbelievably thin, my belly button looks completely natural and beautifully placed, and everything looks balanced, refined, and exactly as I had hoped. The level of care extends to the entire practice. The office is beautiful, and the staff is consistently kind, caring, professional, and attentive. From start to finish, I felt incredibly well cared for. I previously had surgery with another prominent DMV-area plastic surgeon, and my experience with Dr. Chang was far superior. The difference in the level of attention to detail, care, and results was striking. I truly could not be happier. Dr. Chang is outstanding and I recommend him without reservation.

You can find their most expensive beauty lines such as Sulwhasoo (40s+) for your mom or more affordable line for younger crowd such as Mamonde or Laneige (20~30s). As K-beauty's popularity has grown, you can find these products at Sephora or online more easily, but shopping at Aritaum has its own pros. - VIP membership rewards (Collect points redeemable for discounts and samples) - A ton of samples on anything. - In-house promotions that are unbeatable It's a small store, but if you loved K-beauty products, it's a great place to be. You will be surprised at the quality of the goods and some of them are really cheap, too! For example, their $3 eyebrow auto pencil is as good as $20+ ones that you get at Sephora. Their modi nail polish is cheap ($3.50ish per bottle), but it's pretty good for the price.

The thing I love the most here is that the lady give a lot of free samples for you to try, which is awesome. I heard the lady said that they have different deals every month, I recently went and I got the one get one free deal on makeup brushes/ sponges, she said last month they had shampoo that was buy one get one. They also have good reward system too, especially if you buy a lot of skincare. Due to covid, the store didn't have a lot of BB cushion that I wanted but hopefully they will restock more products. The customer service here is very friendly, which is rare for Korean store. Don't feel intimated because most of the time you'll be the only one in the store, you can ask them for good recommendations and they will be honest. Definitely coming back for some skincare and bb cushion.

I've been coming to this clinic for about two months now, and I only have positive things to say!…read more I had a horrible break out a few months ago, and the products my old dermatologist not only didn't help me, but left me with dry, even more acne prone skin!! I was mortified! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. Every time this has happened the front desk has been nothing but patient and work hard to make sure that I can make it. They're amazing! Bottom line: if you want amazing skin, COME HERE!

Okay! ready for that with some questions. Showed up early to fill out paperwork and pay, credit card in hand, & had emailed them ahead (now they are claiming they notified me ahead of time that doc. was not in on Weds., but then then their internet was down yeah) only to be told doc. is never in on Wednesdays. Well, then why was i offered that appt. on Wed. morning? Total BS. Receptionist is having is conversation in back room in Spanish. Receptionist looks a lot like the on-line photo of the doc. A little over 5 years ago I had the pleasure of going with my best friend to her first appointment…read morewith Dr. Naz. not only was I was blown away by the beautiful work that she did but the energy she brought into the appointment. I found myself feeling totally at peace with the idea of her putting needles in my face; something I never thought I would be able to handle. We started talking about what my concerns were, as someone who was 32 and just starting to see lines in my forehead I certainly was ready to feel a little fresher. So she advised dysport around my forehead and crows feet and we did a lip flip, and it was amazing. When I tell you I never knew how fresh and rested I could feel, not to mention see my lips look a little juicer. As a guy living in LA I had seen plenty of overdone faces and was terrified I would start looking artificial but the opposite was true, I started feeling the most like myself I had ever felt. I was hooked and flew back to DC for the next 3 years to see her. (Now I live in DC so its way easier) Since starting with Dysport and a Lip Flip I now get filler in my lips and have even tried Under Eye filler which was the most incredible addition. I also want to mention I was super nervous about the pain from needles but she was so sweet and patient with me and even recommended a dental block for when she does my lips! People never know I have gotten anything done and regularly comment on the face that I look 10 years younger than I am! All in all I would say that her talent is unmatched and the way that she views your face is like that of an artist. She will truly listen to you and work with you to help you feel like best version of yourself- without ever pushing or making you feel like she is trying to upsell (she has certainly told me no multiple times). I only ever do simple cuts, nothing fancy. My haircut, done by Anderson (a level 3 stylist), is objectively good. The skill was there. But it's definitely shorter than I wanted it. Went in for a lob, came out with an asymmetrical bob...Honestly I was panicking while he was drying it because it was starting to look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. I asked if he could style it like in the reference pictures I showed (simple waves, to reduce Farquaad-ness). He tried to do it with the brush/dryer, which obviously wasn't working, and didn't want to use a flatiron. So I just suffered through scalding heat on my scalp and hair pulling. I got told I don't have curly hair. I got told I don't have frizzy hair. I, in fact, have both of those. Some other minor things: 1. When I got home I had some hair that was noticeably longer than the rest, like it never got cut. So...I had to do it. Just a few strands, but normally stylists check for that when your hair is dry. 2. I almost never use heat on my hair, so I asked for recs and mentioned a specific brand doesn't work for me. He immediately said he loves that brand. I said yeah...but it doesn't work for me. Anything else? "Any salon brand." Cool. Not helpful. 3. Asked for something at the end to tame the pieces that were sticking out (again, I have frizzy hair). He looked...confused? Smoothing as a last step has been standard at every other place I've been to. There is nothing in the whole salon like that? Also, my introvert-self just wants to go somewhere where I don't have to be engaged in conversation the whole time. Anyway. Won't go back, my hunt continues.
