From an adults point of view the prediction is clear, we'll be spending lots. But really it's good fun being in here and re-live the joy of toys watching our kids taking delight in seeing them all. Imagine If has a large range of toys, books, science kits, models, art and crafts like beading, stuffed toys, games and educationals toys aimed towards the very young age group. There's a good range of Lego ie Star Wars, Lego City, etc. And of course there are lots of puzzles. Also, for the every day practical use there are bags, raincoats and a few other items. Prices vary and suitable for all budgets.

Is it just me or is everything just that little bit more expensive in Burnside…read more.. Anyhow, no matter the price (within reason) I love Imagine If. This is the first outlet I ever went to actually and I fell in love immediately. I have nieces and nephews and I can't bear the Bratz dolls or John Cena replica's of this decade, thats why I like to buy their presents here. There are toys here that let you get creative, like jewellery sets and crystal forests, metal puzzle things, archeology sets and chemistry. Far more rewarding even if it is a little extra cash, I think I come here because I secretly wish I was buying it for me.

28/12/2011 Photos First to Review I never saw this one -…read moreooh, look what we have here, a little toy shop just in front of me. I think I'm going BLIND. Luckily, I'm not yet, as I pulled into this new shop in the Myer Centre Food Court. The worker attending the counter was busy trying to patch things up with an older couple who wanted to refund their large helicopter (strangely they took forever to negotiate a refund or a repair!), and since it was only her working, no-one wasn't able to attend to me. (Honestly, l didn't mind, because unfortunately there wasn't much there I wanted to buy and take home, so I walked away feeling quite neutral about the shop. So I can't really say I liked it or hated it!) The best part - there is a yellow toy Lamborghini Murciélago that caught my eye for under $60, if I can remember? No joke. I had to tell myself, calm down, it's not a real Lamborghini Murciélago. Damn, I wish I was driving home in that, one day!! Some of the toys I saw here were only $20-$30! I had to blink my eyes twice at some of their prices." Still like it, would be great for little kids, so will come back another day and give their service another fair go.

I bought a remote control helicopter for my son in Perth and I must say I was impressed by the…read morerange of toys they had and they were selling like hot cakes. Time to pay comes and the business didn't have proper receipts and this sign on the table saying 'no refunds or exchange of products so choose carefully'. Mmmmmm, the bag also displays only a hotmail address, not even a website to refer to. All that seemed too fishy... :-& Nevertheless, quite happy it the product, went and bought another one for my son's friend ($50), and his dad tells me it doesn't take off. I took it back to the shop and this guy did some adjustments and fixed it. He also said 'for parts and warranty just come back, we'll be back in this shopping centre in march'... So in the meantime, they're vanishing in the ether. I feel weird buying products from a company that operates like that, it's like buying from the black market in a third world country. I still did it because of what they offered. I assumed there were stronger guidelines for businesses in Australia. Is this a real business????????

I have a mad love for collectables, figurines and toys! That leads to my mad love for this store. I…read morehave actually been following this store from when it was a small in Regent Arcade. I was so happy to hear that they were able to open a bigger store near Rundle Mall on Twin Street. As a result, they now have three times the amount of stuff for me to rummage through. This store stocks all new collectables. Everything from Star Wars to My Little Pony to Nightmare on Elm Street. If you are after action figurines, signed posters or cool plush toys, this place is for you. The owner of the store is always happy to have a chat with you and help you find the collectables you are after. So, if you are missing something in a series, be sure to stop by and ask him if he can locate it for you. I found one of my prized toy possessions in this store, a plush Aliens Chest Buster! Yup, I totally own a funny looking alien spawning toy. Oh, I know you geeks will appreciate how much I love this little guy. This is a great store for gifts for children or adults. You will find something for any lover of comics, cartoons, Sci-Fi or horror. And yes, it's still totally cool to collect toys!

Kmart - Basics and women's clothing based on ground floor. Bargain basic tops for only $6-7!

You know when something is so bad for you that you can't help but want it more? Like…read morechocolate...well now I'd put Kmart into that little shopping basket. Yes it is just another chain store full of stuff you don't need but I am in a love/hate relationship with this Kmart. The layout is clever. Bloody annoying and sneaky like IKEA - but gosh it's clever. - You can't see over any isle so you have to hunt through the maze of gigantic displays. - They put women's bargain clothing (tops starting at $4) at the entrance. Bright colourful displays that make you think "yes I should start wearing more of this tangerine or fluoro blue in my life." - The store is also double storey so you feel like you are in a luxurious department store that has bargain basement prices. And finally the prices are amazing. You know that when you buy a $4 t-shirt it will last you one season and be 2 sizes bigger after a couple of washes. But hey what the hell it's only $4 right? Consumerism at its best. It is also refreshing to see a good homewares and toy store based in the mall with a really good range of items - something I was complaining about as I trawled the mall just 2 months ago unsuccessfully looking for a present for a 3 year old. Well done Kmart your rebrand is bringing you back into the naughties...you're so bad, it's good.

Kmart has gone downhill in quality with some items and have stopped stocking a few decent brands…read morewhich is quite disappointing and sell poor quality footwear which falls apart quickly. the reason why I have given this review 2 stars is because the boys clothes are quite thick and are probably thicker than big w clothes. what I was pretty impressed about is the boys 7-16 flannelette shirts I bought today were $6.50 each and I bought two of them for $13.00 and in bigw they were $12 each and the material was thinner than the ones in Kmart. what a bargain! but I do avoid buying footwear. pros: Clothes are still of decent quality and very low , affordable prices and some bargains waiting for you. cons: bad quality footwear that falls apart after a wear, tinsel that sheds bits and not many different brands to choose from.
