I did, and met the nice lady who used to just sell scale model dolls houses and the zillions of tiny scale model things that go inside them.
Well, she has decided to surf the cafe wave, and has installed a small coffee machine and started baking home style cakes and biscuits.
Effectively, the place is a tea rooms with benefits - you can outfit a dolls house while you're there.
The coffee's ok, the tea is probably fine, but the cakes are really worth the visit. They're just like the stuff your granny used to bake - fresh and flavoursome.
The owner is branching out to all day breakfasts on weekends. It would be interesting to see what she comes up with.
The place is tucked away in an obscure little strip of old shops on Ways Road, in the dark heart of suburban Hampstead Gardens.
