It's nice how they always greet you when they see you, which makes the community feel welcoming. They're also very accommodating when it comes to apartment issues. While small problems can happen, they do their best to fix them quickly. The manager is especially helpful and tries to schedule maintenance around your availability, which is great if you work or have a dog. The location is also super convenient, with nearby walking/biking areas, grocery stores, and the university. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex! (:

I personally like the location a lot since it is a safe quite neighborhood and you get access (at an extra monthly cost) to the Stonegate country club which a nice perk. The apartments are spacious so it is nice when I invite people over. Mold is a problem and requires regular cleaning but if you take care of it, it is not a huge issue it does get brutally hot during the summer because of the specific location of my apartment so make sure to pick a shaded apartment. the price is on the higher end but I think it is worth it for the space and the neighborhood. Be warned that the price increases 5% each year, but I think that is normal for all apartment complexes. The dishwasher is super old and does not work properly, I asked for replacement but they didn't do it. They do replace the smaller, less expensive stuff. Sometimes the laundry machines would be out of service and I would have to walk over to a different laundry room but that did not happen often Overall, it is a decent place with a few issues.

There were barely any maintenance issues and when they happened, they were resolved quickly. The apartments are nice (I miss the in-unit washer/dryer), the amenities are great, and the office/lounge is wonderful. Literally the only issue was sometimes the printer didn't work and that wasn't a big deal, I could just print on campus. And I really, really loved the manager and front desk staff. This place is near the freeway so be prepared for car noise and lawnmowing noises sometimes in the morning. Also, my apt. was near the Cesar Chavez parking lot, and they (not Lexington) have a weird sound that plays on speakers whenever someone enters the property. It's a voiceover saying "you are trespassing". It wasn't an issue for me, just kind of funny and something to be aware of if you have an apartment near there! Thanks for a great experience, this was the best complex I lived in during my time at Davis.

You say that you and your team really cares about your residents but all people say about your team is about your baked goods you make, nobody cares about your baked goods. What they really care about if they are paying way too much for a unit is for that unit is to not have mold in it, appliances that are not 40 years old, ACTUAL security and not parking authority, punctual and practical response to a problem and not scripted messages that just basically tells your tenants "your problem and not mine" Also we were comming from another tandem apartment and expressed our concerns about that but YOUR TEAM responded with "that is our stepsister location" and " we are like them but not like them" We have expressed our concern and I really didn't want to put it all on blast like this but I don't want others to suffer that are in a more desperate situation that are just trying to find a place to call home (UPDATE because I was forced to) Sence someone doesn't believe me pictures were posted of some of the situations and their descriptions

The office staff is super friendly and the maintenance staff is always so attentive (I've never had to wait more than 48 hours once I've submitted a request). Some of my favorite things about living here were: - Giveaways and contests! Their social media team posts when they're happening on Instagram @cranbrookapartments. I especially enjoyed the scavenger hunts around the complex and when they'd provide donuts and coffee from Boss Cafe during finals week! - 24/7 access to the study lounge with free printing and a coffee bar! - On site parking! - Unitrans bus stops for the E, P, Q and lines that ran every 30min-1hr to UC Davis and around the city! - Walking distance to Nugget Markets and CVS pharmacy! You can find a good mix of community members and students at this complex since it's in a more calm and quiet part of Davis. It's also pretty affordable compared to most places like North Davis. Overall, I am extremely grateful for my time here at Cranbrook and will miss calling this place home!

The Suntree homes themselves feel very homey and have a nice community feel to them. Residents there were all super kind and easy to talk to, and all had great things to say about their time living at Suntree. There are (very yummy and free) snacks, candy, drinks, coffee, and printing all at the front desk as well! As a college student that goes a long way! Great location and Alisha and Leslie were super flexible on pricing since my friends and I were working with a tight budget. The leasing office is Super professional, and they have been pleasant to work with. Maintenance is fast and top-notch, as well. Other than that one hiccup, I strongly recommend people to giving this place a shot.

Before moving into the apartment, there were about 4-5 residents that signed the lease and since…read morethey knew that there were going to be several of us moving in, they only gave us 2 keys and were unwilling to make extra copies although now we are 2-3 keys short... We had to pay out of pocket to cover those expenses.. Also, be sure to read their lease several times before you sign it (if you decide on living here, but please decide after you read this review) because they do charge for the waste fee, water bill, and sewage.... On top of that, you need to pay for your own gas, Internet, and electricity bill... Although this apartment May seem like it's a great deal, don't forget to consider those four bills you will need to be paying. I am also having the same problem that a lot of people are having --- I'm finding at a rate about five cockroaches or bugs a day because there is a park right next door so all the bugs are in search of food or a warm place, so the next best thing would be our apartment. That is gross! Since we are on the topic of the park, there are a lot of homeless people wandering at the park and since we live next to it -- they like to break into our town home.. This is definitely dangerous and an unsafe environment. When we brought it to the staff's attention that our apartment got broken into and requested for changing the lock, they refused and said that this will cost an additional amount of money... If you want to live somewhere and fear for your safety, then this is the place for you!!! This apartment is not like others where they provide a finals week breakfast. It's not a negative in my book, but definitely something to look into when you have finals and don't want to cook. Hmm... Like mentioned in my previous post, this place has not given me anything positive to write about since the staff is not accommodating or concern for our safety. I can't wait until my lease is over so I can actually move into a safer environment.
