To write this review, and I was trying to give town cleaners a chance, but the customer service here is just a mess I went to town cleaners to have a zipper replaced in my leather jacket due to all the positive reviews on Yelp. I came by the store and it was closed on Monday afternoon at 3 PM. I eventually came back and dropped off my leather jacket and was told that it would be a week to have the zipper replaced. I was charged $20 and the item was packed in plastic. It took me about a week to open it and when I opened it the zipper had not been replaced. Nothing has been done I had just been charged. Fraudulent practices! I went back to get a refund and the manager said that she couldn't issue the refund over the phone that she would have to come in and do it herself because the employees didn't know how to issue a refund. I came back the following Monday again around 3 o'clock and the place was locked up and dark! I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so there is no way to reach the manager. In addition, I tried to go to their website and it is a fake website. I would steer clear of this place. I went back to get a refund and again I experienced that the store was closed during working hours so I had to go back a third time, and I was told by the manager on the phone that they would have a refund for me the next day know how to issue a refund. I went back four days later and again on a Monday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The office is dark and there is nobody there and the doors are locked. I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so I am unable to reach anyone. Clear of this dry cleaner, the Taylor does not do the tailoring that you bring your item in for and will still charge you for it while trying to get away with saying it was good enough to be repaired but not replaced read more

DO NOT GO HERE. They shrunk my curtains when my husband went in to ask them for a refund (I wanted to get money to replace them) the man and woman started screaming at him calling him a liar and and not to laugh at him! He called him a thief bc "your wife brought them in where is she, hiding?" And my husband said no she's 39 weeks pregnant what is the matter. Man told my husband said people try to cheat them out of money all the time. My husband left for in his car and the woman FOLLOWED him across the street and THREW our curtains at his car (I witnessed this in shock). I still literally can't believe any person behaved like this let alone runs a business like this. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. read more

I go by this place like every day. I finally needed a quick alteration done on a sweater and stopped by this convenient spot along Nahatan Street in Norwood. Long story short, I was wearing a cardigan woolen sweater and the elbow got caught on something and made a small hole. I thought this place would be able to find a fix for my sweater (I was thinking of an elbow patch on each side to make it look parallel). During my visit, I also brought a few clothing items they need simple cleaning which came out good as well. According to the other reviews, this is a great place (which I completely agree with) and for me, it's 2 minutes down the street. Now, they weren't able to fix my sweater for me, as it wasn't anything that they are able to do (the hole was to large to sew and they didn't have a patch the size needed), but they game me a few ideas on the best ways to fix it. Both of the people working were friendly, kind, and helpful. The interior was clean, everything looked done to perfection (they are very organized!), and the other clothes came out great. After seeing that my go-to dry cleaners, Rama, was closed for vacation, I found Town Cleaners with a quick Google search. When I went to drop off dress shirts, the woman behind the counter was very nice and it seemed like they had a high-tech system in place with being able to check on your order online, however the entire space was unorganized and packed with mountains of clothes. When my boyfriend returned 4 days later to pick up his shirts, he was left waiting 15 minutes while they searched for his missing clothes! The man even tried to make small talk to distract from the situation at hand. They didn't even try to make up for their mistake with a discount or a coupon. Though the clothes were clean, there is no reason to risk losing hundreds of dollars worth of clothes when Rama is right down the street. We will not return. read more

Great shop. All the work is done on premises by the very hard working super nice couple who run the shop. I've been going to them since I moved to town and have never ever had a complaint. From dry cleaning and laundry to very well done tailoring they can do it for you at prices that are better than the drop off places that have everything sent out to Lord knows where! read more
