I switched to this dry cleaner from an independent one. My main motivation to switch was that the…read moreother one is never open and my social interactions there were usually awkward, coupled with parking difficulties. Dependable seems like a very solid dry cleaner. I haven't done a price comparison, but I am sure it is not the cheapest. However, their nighttime drop box is a godsend. I love that I can drop my bag in the middle of the night. They are also open seven days a week which is really helpful. The staff here are pleasant and I have not had any problems with my things being lost or ruined. I don't believe dry cleaners are miracle workers so I would be wary of trusting them with anything really important. One note is that the cost and turnaround time for a comforter is a little absurd. Apparently, they clean them off site and I think I paid $30 for a twin comforter and it took two weeks for it to come back. I think I will take my chances with my washer in the future. Otherwise, a great operation that keeps me looking put together.

This place seems to have a lot of potential but I'm fully shocked an disappointed from my recent…read moreencounter. I had clothes and bedding picked up from my house. I didn't hear from them for 2 days (I thought it was a 24 hour service). I called and was told it was bc my card didn't go thru; made sense bc I had lost my card. It was now Saturday and my stuff was waiting around bc they did not make me aware of the issue. I was told it would all be delivered Monday. I showed up to grab it myself bc I needed my bedding. I was then told my comforter wasn't ready and would be delivered a week from the drop off (I didn't order any special service for it). I get home and my comforter was in the bag... I have no idea what they were gonna deliver next week. I open up the comforter and it has bleach stains on it. Brand new comforter is ruined, time wasted, super frustrating. ~~ Update: They paid for me to pickup a new comforter at Target & refunded my original wash cost. Part of the issue was that I didn't have the correct colored bags at pickup. They may be more 'dependable' when the system is understood and followed

I researched some places to get my wedding dressed cleaned & preserved. The owner spent a lot of time talking to me about how long they've been doing it, what company they use and all kinds of other tid-bits of information. So they took care of my dress for what I thought was a reasonable cost. It looks nice, from the window of the box. My first experience was great...friendly and timely service, however, I tried to stop at 7:05 am to drop off dry cleaning to find the store dark, and the doors locked!? It says on the sign they open at 7am....

Town Cleaners fulfills the 5 basic criteria to get a 5-star Yelp review:…read more 1. They clean your clothes on site (read: no trucking your clothes elsewhere which means they will get lost) 2. To write this review, and I was trying to give town cleaners a chance, but the customer service…read morehere is just a mess I went to town cleaners to have a zipper replaced in my leather jacket due to all the positive reviews on Yelp. I came by the store and it was closed on Monday afternoon at 3 PM. I eventually came back and dropped off my leather jacket and was told that it would be a week to have the zipper replaced. I was charged $20 and the item was packed in plastic. It took me about a week to open it and when I opened it the zipper had not been replaced. Nothing has been done I had just been charged. Fraudulent practices! I went back to get a refund and the manager said that she couldn't issue the refund over the phone that she would have to come in and do it herself because the employees didn't know how to issue a refund. I came back the following Monday again around 3 o'clock and the place was locked up and dark! I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so there is no way to reach the manager. In addition, I tried to go to their website and it is a fake website. I would steer clear of this place. I went back to get a refund and again I experienced that the store was closed during working hours so I had to go back a third time, and I was told by the manager on the phone that they would have a refund for me the next day know how to issue a refund. I went back four days later and again on a Monday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The office is dark and there is nobody there and the doors are locked. I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so I am unable to reach anyone. Clear of this dry cleaner, the Taylor does not do the tailoring that you bring your item in for and will still charge you for it while trying to get away with saying it was good enough to be repaired but not replaced

In response to Maria K.'s comment:…read more First of all - Maria you were not there so I appreciate your response but you cannot speak to what happened. I understand it's all recorded on your cameras so you will see that the dress was SO short I could not even wear flat shoes with it. Second - the owner, Vassilis, REFUSED to reimburse me after I asked several times, came all the way back to prove my dress length, and had to wait while he checked cameras. I certainly did not rush out of the store. I was there over 15 minutes trying to reason with him. You can check your cameras to confirm. If you have had a change of heart and would like to reimburse me for customer good will, I am more than happy to accept as I had previously requested.
