Out of 20 dress shirts, one came back with stains all over the front and 2 other ones were cleaned but not pressed. After wearing all my new clothes and the ones that were done, I ironed the ones that were not pressed and wore them. Thanksgiving break, I was out of clothes. I took 12 shirts plus the one stained to her just to show and inform her to take good care of my clothes. At first she denied that she cleaned it. Since the shirt was still the way I picked it up with hanger and tag. She searched and realized it's her work. Second, she said "You people always complaining." [That was the first time.] Third, she pushed back my clothes in refusal. All that happened, while I tried to make my case to her why I took so long to come back. I don't work summertime, as a teacher. And wear shorts, jeans, t-shirts and special occasions clothes during the Summer months. After this experience, I found out sadly enough, she does not know her customers. She has a short temper. She is disrespectful. She has no customer service skills but collecting payments. I wish her business well but I will never go back!

There are lots of huge speed bumps and there is traffic coming into the area from so many different directions. I recommend parking on the side of the building to the left of the neighboring Taqueria and walking over. If you park directly in front of the cleaners' be prepared for some difficulty backing out- and watch those speed bumps!

Prior to handing my clothes to the owner I inspected each article of clothing and identified any stains. The owner witnessed this. When I picked up my shirts. The owner quickly wanted me to pay but I inspect all clothes from the cleaners. I soon discovered an issue with my dress shirt. The owner and her husband was quick to say it was due to my SWEAT GLANDS. I told them I don't sweat especially during the fall/winter weather here and I wear under shirts. Then he was quick to blame me on putting an oil on my shirt. I stated this was caused by your shop as I inspected all my clothes prior to handing them over. The wife/owner just smiled and said PAY. I wonder if I had been a Caucasian male or female had the outcome been different. It's SAD that they were quick to say it's my fault rather than say they would try to get it out as other PROFESSIONAL cleaners might have done. Not in this case. And that is a whole nother story, as awesome as this one is not. I took my clothing to the "Hem pants store" one Wed. afternoon. Their system is well automated, they give you bar coded recipts, a neat touch. But the $5 hem pants quote was not accurate. at all. I ended up being charged an embarrassing to admit amount to the tailor, up front, and was dismayed to see the neat recipt I just mentioned, was badly itemized - not really sure HOW all of those alterations added up to the total quoted there. Wasn't sure for a second if I was expected to haggle? But I was embarassed, had asked for several things beyond the hem, and so I paid it. dumbass. The recipt however lied, when it said the store would have the items READY BY 4 on Tuesday. So, on Tuesday when I stopped by to pick them up at 5:30, I was a bit surprised to see a woman altering them, at that very moment. She didn't stand up or greet me when I came into the store. I called out, probably too quietly, twice before I just stared at her till she looked up. She smiled, and I said, "you have my clothes," and she said "one moment" and looked past me out the door. Odd, I thought. She then finished my item. And picked up a second item of mine and began sewing it right in front of me!!! One moment to finish two more garments, I now see sitting in that same pile??? I tried to ask her how long she would be, to say that this was really dissapointing, given the price I had paid. She didn't speak english. I had to leave. I have yet to pick up my stuff, cause I have evening things to do after work most days. so. I will pick these things up. I will politely ask for a discount, because thats terrible service for the amount they charged me. And If it goes fantastic, I'll be sure to update. They have a couple customer rewards programs... but both require you to hold onto a card or coupon. Neither is automatic. You lose or forget your card or coupon and you're out of luck!
