The women here are kind, but that's about the only good thing I can say. I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

We called and some how managed to speak to the owner and explained my sons clothes for church was in the order which he needed the next day for choir. He came in early morning Sunday and helped us get out clothes with no problem and a smile on his face. I came by the store and it was closed on Monday afternoon at 3 PM. I eventually came back and dropped off my leather jacket and was told that it would be a week to have the zipper replaced. I was charged $20 and the item was packed in plastic. It took me about a week to open it and when I opened it the zipper had not been replaced. Nothing has been done I had just been charged. Fraudulent practices! I went back to get a refund and the manager said that she couldn't issue the refund over the phone that she would have to come in and do it herself because the employees didn't know how to issue a refund. I came back the following Monday again around 3 o'clock and the place was locked up and dark! I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so there is no way to reach the manager. In addition, I tried to go to their website and it is a fake website. I would steer clear of this place. I went back to get a refund and again I experienced that the store was closed during working hours so I had to go back a third time, and I was told by the manager on the phone that they would have a refund for me the next day know how to issue a refund. I went back four days later and again on a Monday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The office is dark and there is nobody there and the doors are locked. I called the phone number and the mailbox is full, so I am unable to reach anyone. Clear of this dry cleaner, the Taylor does not do the tailoring that you bring your item in for and will still charge you for it while trying to get away with saying it was good enough to be repaired but not replaced

I'm not sure how this establishment has as high of a rating as it does. I had brought my dress in 4…read moremonths prior to my wedding and it was the most frustrating experience of my wedding planning thus far. It took 5 fittings to have very basic alterations done and with very minimal changes between each fitting. By the 3rd fitting, I had called ahead of time as I was worried that nothing would be updated on the dress and I had to explain to her that there had essentially been no changes at the previous fittings. On the 4th fitting, what I thought was going to be the pick up date, the bottom of the dress hadn't even been hemmed yet and the bustle not even close to started. On top of that, at my final fitting the appointment was delayed 3 times that day, as the dress wasn't finished still and I had to wait there while she finished it. The alterations cost almost half the price of my dress and after spending closed to $1,000 they don't even steam or iron your dress/veil. I absolutely to not recommend coming here.

They took the time to pin everything carefully, explain what alterations were needed, and make sure I was happy with the plan before getting started. The turnaround time was also very reasonable. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care that went into the work. It's rare to find someone who does great tailoring.
