Elevator is still not functional on Oct 1st. Half of the move is on the elevator 2 days later. I am out $000's on movers that couldn't do what they were paid to do. Still have a broken elevator full of stuff waiting to get to the unit. Have not received any assistance from management and no offers to help resolve the situation.

This was only used as a sales tactic to get us to move into the unit. I signed the agreement on May 17th and by June 2, 2025 before I had even moved my belongings in the owner was telling me that my rent was going to increase by 100% so double the rent. I was then told that I'm getting a good deal and I can't find that anywhere else. Because I save every interaction I was able to show them the texts I received that contradicted this. Today October 27th 2025 I received a letter stating they are working towards no increase for 12 months and my rent is increasing by 100%. Double the rent again. While the facility is new, the bathrooms are almost always clean and it is climate controlled. There's no way to justify this kind of an increase and this often. What's more concerning is how many times they've tried to go back on their word despite being in writing in less than 6 months. For the people who don't have time and energy into making sure that this place holds true to their word on what they sell you to sign they should steer clear. We invested a lot of money into moving our belongings to this unit and have been sold on something that I've had to fight the entire duration.

My two daughters ( age 35+) live like most people in small rental apartments, so I still store furniture etc for them too. I was in three (!) 30 ft deep X 13 ft high X 10 ft wide units with public storage. $$$.... Now it is down to two. This took (3) four week trips from FL. In 1.5 years. Donated everything to Salvation Army St Paul. Husband became extremely ill eleven years ago. We are in a lovely FL. condo he inherited. MISS Minnesota... people, culture, weather - - LOVE the cold!!!! I now have two brand newly built extra large units at Forest Lake - - grabbed them quickly for they rented out super fast. Great price. New wood pallets on entire floor. Never have water in these units, very high airy ceilings with great ventilation. Yes no heat no air conditioning so no fragile furniture, vinyl, wood, etc, but I put clothing etc in tight giant contractor extra thick plastic bags into tight big Costco ( yellow black) plastic storage boxes ( the Best/ shut very tight). I will be out of a second 30 ft unit at public storage after 1-2 more four week trips. Back breaking work - - am creating a new industry of folk buying my things at Salvation Army then flipping them online! We always expected to be in Mn but the condo's living costs are better than renting today. Goal is to find a solid 1 bedroom in MN, build out to be able to remain until I pass on, rent out FL condo. Reverend Jim the manager is the best, the kindest man you could ever ever find and work with. No bugs no rodents all these years. Immaculate rest room at office, safe secure, no crazies renting ' next door'. Women working there solo feel 100 % safe. High fence with barbed wire surround the large rural country property. Nice relaxing 30 minute drive up from the twin cities. Highly highly highly recommend!!

It was dirty, full of feathers, bird poop, spiders and stunk like motor oil. The door came off the hinges and they had limited access hours. We needed an additional storage unit and found Tim at FL Mini Storage to be super helpful. We ended up liking it so much we talked to Tim about getting a bigger unit. He came through and we moved all our belongings from the other storage facility. Tim was terrific to work with and the units are clean, secure and they offer 24-hour access. We always feel safe, and we appreciated the location is easy to get to. If you need storage for the short, or long term, we highly recommend FL Mini Storage.

If I could give a negative rating I would. NEVER rent from Penske in Eagan, MN. Worst service ever…read more Was quoted $69.99 for a daily rental, which included a $40.00 premium due to it being a late rental. When the truck was dropped off was charged 10 times that price. And that is not an exaggeration, almost $1,000 for a 10 hour truck rental. When the contract was being reviewed price was never discussed, just sign here, trusted they charged what they quoted, HUGE mistake. Was in no hurry to move, still had 30 days, never, ever would have knowingly approved such an outrageous price. DO NOT TRUST them, they will lie. When the charge was disputed the local manager said there are witnesses to this price being given, that is an outright lie. Talked to corporate office and the local store, the response is too bad it is a legally binding contract. That is understood but how ethical is it to increase the price 10 times, not double, the price was increased 10 times the quoted price. Don't let them fool you, Penske has done nothing to resolve this issue. The price for this truck is $29.99 plus mileage, we agreed to a premium price of $69.99 due to late rental. We were charged $699.99, and told too bad you signed the agreement. Don't trust them to charge what they agreed to.
