This is a cute bakery inside H-Mart. The prices of the pastries are comparable to baked goods in other bakeries in the area. I ordered the mocha latte for $4, and it tasted decent. There wasn't anything special about the drink, but at least it kept me warm.

While in the HMart store, I found Tous Les Jours. What caught my attention were the different style baked good on display. I ended up buying a bunch to take back home (Miami) but tried some myself. I had the bread stuffed with red bean and cheese and two other types of baked goods that i can not remember. The bread was fresh and fluffy and i would have loved to have some coffe to go with it. I also bought a Lychee Boba tea that my daughter perclaimed was the best boba she has ever had. Prices are reasonable and like i mentioned before, they are located inside the HMart store. It is more of a grab and go type of place. Also get there early for a better selection. I went around 2pm and almost everything was sold out.

Gosh-Tous Les Jours is an oldie but goldie for me. I first was introduced to TLJ by a cousin out in Irvine and instantly loved their stuff. What I like about their baked goods is the consistency. It seems to be the same no matter where you go (I've also been to their location in Austin, TX in my pre-yelp days) Their breads are consistently fluffy and tender. If they have filling in them they are generous and their quality control is one of the best in the business. From what I gather they have locations in Georgia, North Carolina, Massachusetts, New York. Texas, Illinois, Maryland, Kansas, Washington State, California, New Jersey. They have four stores in the State of Georgia. All of them inside an H-mart. This particular store is inside the H-mart on Motors Industrial Way. It shares the same lot with Shoya Izakaya and Kula Revolving Sushi bar. There is a Brandsmart right beside it. Here are some of the items that I've tried. *Red Bean Bread (I think they make this particular item better than Sweet *Hut, Mozart and Windmill) *Melon bread *Soboro bread *Garlic bread *sweet potato bread *Pain au chocolate *Cream cheese pastry *Milk pan bread (excellent) *The+Honey Rusk (must try) *Red Bean Donut (quite good) I think you can just close your eyes and pick out a few to try. You won't regret it. They're all really good...

    Sobaro bun. Yum!

A Korean-owned bakery with a French name/twist. TOUS LES JOURS! I've bought baked goods numerous amount of time. Usually stick with the ones I always get. The baked goods here tend to be a little more firm and chewy. I hope I used the right adjectives to describe it. They're good though so don't it the wrong way. Just a little more jaw action I guess I should say. Lol. ITEMS TO GET: -Sobaro Bun -Red Bean Bun YUM! ***Minimum of $3 for Credit/Debit card use***

Sorry... These were halfed bc I forgot to buy some for my bro. Oops. Lol!

A quaint little shop located in the Hmart in Doraville. They had a special today; I think it was because of Valentine's Day (?): buy 4 get 1 free. My friend and I couldn't resist as we each picked out 2 items each and decided to share the free one. The total came out to be $7 + change. The prices ($1.50 to $1.99 for the small ish/mid-sized pastries) are consistent with other bakeries. I don't see anything too different here than at other bakeries, but I did notice that their cream filled pastries did have more options: peanut better and hazel nut. There was also the typical coffee and regular butter cream. Oooh... I almost forgot. There were really colorful muffins as well. The red velvet muffin did catch my eye! They also sell boboa drinks here. There was also a small variety of cakes (i.e. birthday cakes/special occasion cakes) to choose from as well.

    Possibly addictive

I'm not sure what it is that I bought today - a large cream-filled pastry thing - but it's damn good. I usually stop by here after shopping at H-mart and look at their goods without buying. That practice may have to end.

Discovered this bakery after shopping at H Mart. It is located inside the grocery store. The bread were all very soft. However, the filling of the coffee and cream cheese tasted like butter and not very appetizing. The melon roll was good and tasted like a melon. The cafe is cute and small but has many different bread options and drinks as well.

We can't resist checking out their bakery goods every time we pass by here after paying for our H-mart groceries. It's nice to see that they list the ingredients for each item label. We've ordered: 1) Melon Bread - this was very, very soft and the melon-y flavor was actually apparent! It would have been better if the "crust" was firmer as in the crust of polo baos. We enjoy pairing this with a green tea drink. 2) The+ Milk Bread - This is the long, soft bread kind. I got this just because of how soft it was to the touch, but it was such a letdown. I did not like the white powdery (powder sugar? but it did not taste sweet) thing that covered the top surface of the bun nor the buttercream filling. But I did enjoy the bread's softness. 3) Coffee Kaya Bun - We were hoping for a good amount of coffee flavor from this, but it was another letdown. It seemed dry, tough, and overcooked. The inside appeared to have a small amount of brown-colored filling, but it didn't taste like much; it was just sweet. 4) Red bean donut - Pretty good. The filling also had chopped walnuts, which was pretty unexpected. It wasn't bad, but it would have been better without. 5) Milk+ bun - This is the round kind. It was too plain and not as sweet as we had hoped for. 6) Red bean bun - liked that the red bean paste was pastey and not very chunky. Their red bean filling was a lot more than usual too, but it became too heavy for Bubee to finish 7) Red bean soboro - not memorable 8) Mocha Cake (birthday cake) - covered in mocha buttercream and garnished with mocha/coffee beans; This was mocha overload. The cake was moist and very sweet. I just wished it had more coffee flavor. We've been searching for good melon bread in Atlanta and that has been not a easy task, but when we can't decide on an item at Tous les Jous, we usually go for the melon bread as it is the closest one in taste to a Japanese melon bread. Overall, they make all their products very presentable and irresistible, but you can't sample them beforehand like you can in White Windmill, so every purchase is an adventure. We've had some good ones such as their melon bread and red bean bun, and some bad apples. Their stuff are a tad pricey, but we look forward to trying more when we get the chance. There's also a $3 or $5 minimum for credit card purchases, but forgot which one.

The space is open, airy, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the seating layout. There's actually room to breathe. You're not crammed next to other tables or accidentally overhearing your neighbor's entire life story. Some cafes feel packed like sardines, but Kin does it right. They even have a cozy living-room style seating area that adds to the relaxed vibe. There's also outdoor seating, which would be perfect on a beautiful day. The latte I ordered was divine- smooth, balanced, and perfectly crafted. As someone who loves good latte art, Kin's baristas absolutely deliver. We were served the most beautiful swan latte art, which made the experience even better. Totally brewtiful! Everyone in our group loved their drinks. One friend mentioned their strawberry matcha is amazing, so that's definitely on my list for my next visit. Another thing I loved: they showcase work from local artists that's displayed and available for purchase. Love, love, love when cafés support local creatives. They also offer a few pastry options that could pair nicely with your drink. Will have to try that next time My only wish? That they stayed open later because I could easily see myself hanging out here all the time. If you appreciate great coffee, good and chill vibes, and cafes that really know their craft, definitely check out Kin Coffee. They even roast their own beans, which makes it a true coffee lover's spot.

I opted to park at the Wal-Mart and wasn't as familiar with the trail so I took the street route. Well-light and populated for safe crossing. The venue is very open and was relatively empty since we arrived shortly after it opened. I love the indoor seating concept with plenty of couches, movable chairs, tables near the open-area space and smaller sections for 2-4 people tucked away along the wall. The DJ was already doing his thing and the bartenders remained busy. As someone who wasn't interested in the drinks, I appreciate that there was a self-serve water cooler in the center of the room. The Jenga and jumbo Uno cards were a hit!!!! It was so nice to have these options available. And as others mentioned, the large screen was playing a classic movie - which we could still see from inside. I didn't stay long and this was a Sunday night but the parking lot was much busier when I left. I imagine the outdoor space gets crowded later in the evening as well. The DJ was just okay - not my cup of tea - but folks seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can definitely see why this place is popular. Although parking is less than desirable, it is not unreasonable. The venue is well-lit and easy to move around. The crowd was diverse, with various ages and backgrounds represented. And depending on the DJ, this would be a great place for meeting with friends, date night or just zoning out to some wonderful music ... especially on a beautiful night. If you're in the mood for something different AND don't mind the trek to Chamblee, check it out.

For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!
