3.5 stars. Located centrally inside Ponce City Market, I was thrilled to see they had vegan crepes on their menu. To my dismay the staff let me know they don't start making crepes until 2pm. I was crestfallen, especially because I feel crepes are a quintessential brunch food...? The staff was friendly and let me know they did have their premade vegan crepe cake available and assured me it was equally delicious. To be honest while enjoyable, the cake had a certain stevia-like quality to it, I would not recommend. I got the matcha cake slice which was AMAZING! The flavor was perfect because it wasn't too sweet. They have a sign recommending different cake flavors based on how sweet you want, and matcha was on the lowest end. I think the highest end would be way too rich for me so I'm really glad they had that little guide. Visiting Ponce market place and found this gem for crepe cakes and they were delicious! The person taking the order took his time and gave us sample because we could make up our minds ... and after that I felt like I wanted to take a piece of each flavor crepe cake ! Haha ! I ended up getting the classic and the red velvet, and I was give the option to get them frozen which it worked great because I was going to travel back to south Florida with them . I was really excited to try a crepe cake from Cake Culture, but I have to say I was a little disappointed. The staff were VERY friendly and the service was prompt, but the dessert left a bit to be desired. We ordered a slice of strawberry crepe cake and it was frozen in the middle and very hard to eat. The cake also left a coating in my mouth that took a while to wear off. The flavor was good though. Pro tip: know that your slice may be frozen when you get it, you may want to wait a bit before digging in! read more

We were at Ponce City Market today, so we wanted to give this place a try. We actually heard about them a few months ago on TV, and we were looking forward to trying their crepe cake. The spot is a little difficult to find, it's kind of tucked away in the corner behind some other eateries. If you want to order by the slice they have 4 options: Choko Glacage, Classic, Matcha Green Tea, and Strawberry. We went with the Classic, and it was pretty good. Came by the Cake Culture while in Ponce City Market and was drawn in by the crepe cakes as I've never had one. The staff member was super friendly and help with questions I had on the pastries. I decided to try the original crepe cake ($8). It was several crepe layers with a crème in the middle of the layers. It was a pretty good potion and it was delicious! Wish I had snapped a picture before eating. The crepe cake was fresh, soft, and sweet but not overly sweet. Definitely would come back again soon and try another of their pastries! read more

I've never had a crepe cake, so I was excited to try this. It's definitely different than what I was expecting, but exactly how it should be (now that I've had it and think about it). We had the strawberry and cream one. The strawberries were a little tangy, I think if they were more in season it would help OR it may have been the cream had some tang (like a sour cream mixed in). I didn't say this to my husband out of fear he would NIX it immediately. But he liked it. I definitely think this is the perfect dessert if you don't want something too heavy or too sweet. It reminds me of a real European dessert. We also had a nice guy wait on us, who gave us 3 forks without us asking (which included our toddler). Super nice! read more

Walked by and saw the delicious sign for mochis and I was quickly sold. They offer many flavors such as lychee, black sesame, UBE, and much more. I ordered lychee, red bean, and UBE. It was amazing! All the desserts looked delicious! The service was nice as well. Check it out! read more

I'm so glad there a place inside the perimeter to get crepe cake! Stopped by Ponce City Market to try Cake Culture's crepe cake. I fully intended to get the matcha cake, but once I got there a saw a purple crepe cake and immediately asked what the flavor was and for a sample. First of all...I love that they have samples and secondly, the lavender crepe cake is so light and delicious. I'll definitely be back. read more

It was nice. If you are looking for mille crepes or crepes cakes (or whatever you want to call it) then this is the right place! Now in my opinion, I think the cakes are a tad bit overpriced. I feel like mille crepes are supposed to be more expensive than other cakes but $8 is a bit more than what I usually see. And compared to other mille crepes places I have been to, the flavors felt lackluster. It didn't have much flavor and was kind of plain. Maybe it was the specific flavor I had? Not sure. If you want a mille crepe cake, you should go here! They have lots of options and options I don't see commonly so I recommend it! read more

The idea is great, sure. But the execution is terrible. First of all, I love crepes. They're amazing. But this just does not work. When we approached the counter the worker gave us a rude glare and asked in a harsh tone 'What do you want?'. I understand food service can be difficult, but this was a little cover the top. The cakes were pretty, of course, so we picked out the lavender. I have had lavender flavored desserts before and they were amazing. This was not. It tasted like plain cream with the smallest aftertaste of lavender. The texture was horrible with there being almost no crepe texture to it. It was soggy and disgusting. I tried several restaurants in the area and this was by far the worst. Will NEVER even consider coming here again. read more
