Now I'm facing a $1,500 repair bill to replace the rear main seal, valve cover seals, oil pan gasket, and even the oil filter housing, which is badly damaged. Todd also claims he performed an oil change -- if that's true, there's no way he didn't see these serious issues. This was not an honest sale, and he has not "stood behind" the vehicle like he promised. I do not like doing negative reviews and I share this with you as my experience, not my opinion. To anyone not mechanically inclined, be mindful. I failed my state inspection due to rear brake wear, which could have been possible as I drive alot for work. The car is 11 years old. I was quoted $300+ for rear brakes (just the pads). I've provided part of the inspection they send to you when they are done inspecting the vehicle. Also, I've provided a photo of what I found. Mind you, I'm no mechanic, but I do have common sense. As shown in the photo my rear brakes have 4 millimeters or more of braking material left. Not 2 millimeters or less as they stated. As a blue collar worker myself, I understand making a buck in this economy, however, I don't think this is the way to do it. My conclusion, I would not go back or recommend services from this establishment. On a positive note, the Service Adviser was pleasant and professional.

When I tried to crank the car, it was dead, After reviewing the repairs, I noticed a comment that the lights had been left on overnight (I left the car there while they were still open-the lights were not on). No one from the shop called to tell me, and they had the keys-so, if they were on (highly unlikely) they could have turned them off-this is extremely sketchy. When they called me the next morning to go over the repairs-the lights being left on was not mentioned. When I picked the car up, they had to charge the car to get it going. They said to drive the car and it would recharge. I drove the car for thirty minutes. Got home and tried to restart-it would not. I called AAA, they came and checked the battery-it was basically dead and I had to replace it. Why did Firestone not tell me this, and let me drive off with a dead battery-fortunately I was at home ? This was a great store for the first year, but they are no longer capable or trustworthy. Stay very far away from this place.
