Had a great time at the bar. It's so classy and beautiful. The waitress was so friendly and made a great Espresso Martini. As a local, I have been here many times and have always had a great experience. The menu looks new so I posted a photo of it. Great choices of some fun drinks.

Jan 2, 2023 I stopped in because I paid for 1 hour parking to go to the visitors center and pink foyer but both were closed because it's Monday; a lot of businesses here aren't open on Mondays. So, tis I sit at the bar for 1 cocktail, "the 1836" ($17) it's smoky and a tad sweet, tasty!! It's mezcal , cointreau, fresh strawberries and jalapenos (muddled), lime juice, and agave syrup. Love this bar

This was a perfect visit. Rachel and Daneca were the perfect hostesses. We really enjoyed the service. We will be back because of them. The drinks that they make from scratch and invent are unbelievable. Great job ladies.

Toulouse is always classy and professional and delicious. I can't recommend this place more. The service is incredible. They have incredible drinks and food, and it's definitely a fun place to come and drink at the bar for a night out!

This bar is a nice place to grab an after dinner drink. They have an extensive martini list as well as a few food options offered (including a charcuterie plate!) Waitstaff was friendly and attentive, drinks were delicious, and there was a nice piano and base player performing in the lobby. This bar wasn't overly crowded and it is a great place to just sit and chat. The only thing left to be desired was having some coffee drinks offered. They have a coffee bar 30 feet away, but you can't order an Irish coffee or an amaretto coffee. It is a minor suggestion, mainly because it's winter and a warm after dinner offering would have really hit the spot. Great experience and we will definitely be back!

Have the campfire old fashion made by Rebecca! It's a great old fashion and despite the name is not sweet and comes with a snack.

This place is so fun. Danica made the most amazing drink for Christmas Eve for us. This place is a MUST for the Island visit

The drinks were solid, and the overall atmosphere was definitely a vibe. We went on a Saturday evening, so it was pretty crowded, but once we found our spot in the Gold Room, we stayed there most of the night. Great music, great energy, and a unique concept. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different for a night out. Not sure how it took me this long to stumble in here. Parking is what it is downtown so, there's that.

The lighting is dark, intimate, and behind every level and door, there is something else going on. There is an element of discovery in every corner and a new adventure on every floor. Ever watch the movie Tron? There are some areas of BCD that feel incredibly futuristic with neon-lit interiors and a legitimate sci-fi feel in some areas. The areas are ass follows: The main bar with a DJ and a spacious dance floor, the red room with a visualizer setup of big bass and pulsating lights, the gold room with a speakeasy feel and a curated cocktail menu, with the secret room that is a unique space behind a certain set of doors. Most of the music on the main bar is good, the DJs are energetic, and the bartenders are efficient while professional. It's not the easiest place to photograph anything, but the different (hidden) spaces make it a worthy destination for discovery. The one area that I don't love is that they rock automatic gratuity. I do love how diverse the crowd is on the weekends, which is a testament to the city. Drinks are solid, but the speakeasy drinks are the ones that stand out the most. The latter definitely comes at a price, but beware that some drinks may have all the presence but not enough of the substance. __________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/behind-closed-doors-houston?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ
