Worst place. Walked in no patients on the lobby but I'm told they can't see my son. Horrible customer service, and not patient centered.

“The service was outstanding, everybody was so pleasent and would take a few minutes to talk to an old lady instead of rushing, and they explain what's going to happen to me in the test rooms.”

When I've needed outpatient imaging I now request only the Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center…read more(SWDIC) in Dallas. I've been their patient for decades, the first reason I recommend them. I've seen many freestanding radiology practices disappear, along with my reports and images, many of which would be valuable for comparison if only they were available. My first tip: Stick with a company with proven longevity, such as SWDIC. My second tip: Get all of your outpatient imaging done at the same place so that you will know how to quickly find what a provider may want to see some day. SWDIC does every procedure I can think of. My next tip: if you have special needs, go to an imaging center where the staff and their accomodations can meet your needs easily. Two examples: at SWDIC, I always had the best of care from Cindy, the same mammography tech year after year, despite my limitations from MS. And I know of no other place you can have an MRI if you can't just get up and walk away from your power wheelchair (Don't I wish!) and walk the long distance to the MRI table. Uh, there's a good reason that I must use a power wheelchair, and only SWDIC has an MRI with a detachable exam table that can be brought to the patient who can't trek to an attached exam table! I thank God for the foresight of SWDIC clinical and executive staff for providing this invaluable tool! Never have I ever met a SWIC staff member, from schedulers to the front desk, to the professional staff who was not both professional and kind, and personal if the interaction was long enough. You may well leave with your images and reports in hand; just ask, if that will be helpful. And don't get away without a parking voucher, although I've always been given one before I could ask.

Had a scheduled visit , came on time, signed in, paid for the mammogram, then the clerck said the new machine is not working, the staff does not know how to use it yet so best to reschedule. The best they can give me is an appointment in 3 weeks!. I need it earlier. There is no patient portal, no wait list for any available appointments you just have to call which is a pain, took me 18 minutes today to get someone on the phone. Southwest Diagnostic is not what it used to be .

I have been a BodySpec customer for approximately three years and have completed numerous scans…read more When I arrived for my appointment, I knocked on the van door and, after receiving no response, opened the door to announce my arrival. The technician became very upset and informed me that customers are not supposed to open the van door. My first concern is that this protocol is not communicated anywhere in the appointment process. I reviewed my confirmation email, appointment instructions, and other communications, and there is no instruction telling customers not to open the van door, to wait outside until called, or to look for any readiness indicator.  When I asked how I was supposed to know this procedure, I was told it was clearly stated in the appointment email. It is not. My second concern is how the interaction was handled. I was treated as though I had knowingly violated an established rule when, in reality, I was following the arrival process I had come to understand through years of experience as a BodySpec customer. I have completed numerous scans over approximately three years, and technicians often do not open the door at the appointment time, and I have never seen any signage/indicator in the van window depicting whether the van is ready for the next client.   As a result, knocking and then opening the door after receiving no response had become the only practical way to determine whether the appointment was ready to begin.  Put simply, it is not reasonable to hold customers accountable for violating a procedure that was never communicated and is inconsistent with the experience BodySpec has repeatedly created for returning customers. My third concern is the justification that was given. The technician explained that she was alone in the van and did not know who I was or what my intentions were.  While I understand the importance of employee safety, that concern does not justify blaming a legitimate customer for failing to follow an unpublished protocol.  More importantly, the reasoning itself is difficult to reconcile with the situation. If unauthorized entry is considered a genuine safety concern, the solution should be clear instructions, visible signage, and/or physical controls such as a locked door. i.e., An undocumented customer procedure does little to address someone with actual bad intentions, while creating unnecessary conflict with paying customers who are simply trying to attend their appointments. A customer cannot reasonably be expected to comply with a rule that has never been communicated, and a person with malicious intent would be unlikely to follow that rule regardless. What is most disappointing is that this situation was entirely avoidable. A simple instruction in the appointment confirmation such as "Please do not open the van door. Wait outside until the technician invites you in" would have prevented the entire interaction. I have been a loyal customer for years, which is why this experience was so surprising and frustrating. Unfortunately, this interaction has significantly damaged my confidence in BodySpec. I hope the company will review both the customer communication process and the way situations like this are handled in the future so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

Our first contact there was with Caitlin (she needs a name tag so I can spell her name correctly). She was so very nice to my husband and me, getting me a wheelchair, helping me change and store items in the locker, etc. Most of all, she was kind, professional and made us feel totally comfortable. Then Andre helped me get into position for the scan. He got me a pillow and blanket. Again, he was kind, professional and made me feel totally comfortable. I was prepared for a longer session, but I was out in 15 minutes flat. It was Caitlin who wheeled me outside and helped me into the car when my husband pulled up. Now wishing every health care organization functioned as well as Crown!

My mother is disabled, and instead of treating her with patience and respect, they made an already stressful medical appointment even more difficult. They would not allow me to accompany her to help, despite her needing assistance, and the way they spoke to us was cold and unprofessional. Healthcare staff should understand that many patients are already anxious or vulnerable when they come in. A little kindness goes a long way, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience here. I would not recommend this facility based on the poor customer service and lack of empathy we received.

The facility itself is one of the cleanest doctor's offices I have ever been in. I felt like everything had been thoroughly sanitized just before I got in the room for my scans. The scanning machines were state-of-the-art, comfortable, clean and looked brand new. The best part was after the scans when the doctors walked me through exactly what showed up on the tests. They spent a good amount of time answering my questions and explaining the details of the scans. The doctors were extremely thorough and very personable and caring, and I walked away feeling that they gave me as much attention and care as they would their own family members. I highly, highly recommend Memorial MRI & Diagnostic for their quality of care, attention to detail and for their state-of-the-art facility.

This is my 2nd go-round (technically 3rd) at the Women's Imagining Center…read more I had a 3D mammogram done here a year & 1/2 ago. I needed to return for a second exam that visit. The phone call requesting a return visit provided a few days of angst, but all ended up well. Here I am again this year. The reception, check in & practitioners have been fabulous on all visits. My practitioner even remembered me from 18 months ago.....Wow! There is PLENTY of room for family members or providers to accompany you on your visit. There is coffee and magazines. I had to fill out one set of paper-docs for my DEXA. They have switched to pretty cool electronic check in docs for a mammogram. They hand you an iPad, you check some boxes & viola. Once it's time for your exam, clients are taken to a changing area with keyed-lockers to store your items (Thank You from single gals everywhere!) They have these 1/2-length, cape-style garments for mammograms which make it a little more convenient to hit those poses for the squish. There are also some longer more traditional hospital-like garments with sleeves for other exams or mobility/modesty issues.....don't be shy....get your mammogram cape on! You're a self-care super hero for being there. Once changed, clients remain in a separate waiting area until their exam. When you are done, collect your things from the locker, change & you're done. Don't forget to leave the key!! The mammogram sincerely not that bad at all. I'm not sure why there are so many stories of super-squishy pain. That hasn't been my experience(s). ** Do not wear garments with metal from the waist-down for DEXA....get your yoga pant day on ladies! On the day of the mammogram, do not apply lotions, creams or deodorant. I remember seeing personal wipes last year. I didn't see those this year. If you have to work or run around before your appointment, I think applying deodorant & bringing wipes would work out well. I saw a few ladies that use canes. I did not see anyone that used a wheelchair. Regardless, I have no doubt that they facilitate exams for anyone with mobility issues. No excuses! Get your exams done. If not for you, do it for your family and all the ladies (& men!) diagnosed in the time since your last exam! Best of health to all.......
