What I am not happy about is having to see a nurse practitioner every few months. If she doesn't have an opening, you don't get further massages until you see her first. In my opinion, all she does is quiz you to find out what other services they can sell you or bill your insurance for. Like presenting me with a tiny leads unit I did not ask for. Also I am legally blind but still have some vision. In the Flower Mound location, the waiting area is filled with light but as soon as the door to the hallway opens and your name is called, you walk into a dark hallway. When I would have to quickly explain I'm visually impaired -they did not really assist me. One therapist had lowered her bed all the way to the floor and as I walked in there was no bed and I was completely lost. She couldn't figure how to turn the lights up so I could get my bearings. Again, two of my massage therapists were amazing. This review is based solely on my experiences d your visit may be different.

I have no complaint about it: A good chiropractor would want to actually see what they're adjusting before actually doing it. I didn't have to watch a video (thank goodness!), so that wasn't an issue. Dr. Stacey takes really good notes and can remember what's going in my personal life, even asking me if I needed special accommodation (ie., special pillow) for my chest because I am nursing. If you check in on Yelp you get a free traction bed massage. I didn't dig it (it's too hard/rough for me), but I always get iced after an adjustment and feel great afterwards. I don't get to go as often as I like, but my back and pelvis are very grateful! I can resume some of my yoga positions that were off-limit before.

There also used to be a musty smell that I noticed during previous visits, but I'm happy to say that it's completely gone. The new massage therapists have also been great. I had a massage from Elle and requested light pressure, and she listened to my instructions. The massage was super relaxing and exactly what I needed. It's great to see a place I've visited for years getting these upgrades! I will return soon.

An amazing example is that my sister in law was having serve pains down her arm with numbness. She went to a doctor who recommended surgery on her neck with only a 50% chance of it correcting the issue. I recommended she try Dr Art before deciding on surgery. Dr Art found that it was a rotator cup issue and adjusted it. Fixed! She had immediate relief. When my sister in law went back to her doctor (who recommended the surgery) and told him about Dr Art, he was amazed. And now he regularly recommends patience to Dr Art Dr Art does not take insurance. His office says he can keep his costs low that way. But he is very reasonably priced. A regular visit is $45 (as of 2024). He is worth every penny.

I recieved evaluation and first adjustment was told I would be charged $35.00 and Medicare with my AARP supplemental policy would cover any additional costs to which I agreed. About a week later without any notice from them my credit card was charged $90.00 without any authorization. I called and spoke to the office and they told me insurance would not cover the additional fee. I asked to have the doctor call me and no one ever called me back. Its too bad because I liked the doctor and would have been a long time customer but I feel the office used deception on my initial consult.
