Dr Art found that it was a rotator cup issue and adjusted it. Fixed! She had immediate relief. When my sister in law went back to her doctor (who recommended the surgery) and told him about Dr Art, he was amazed. And now he regularly recommends patience to Dr Art Dr Art does not take insurance. His office says he can keep his costs low that way. But he is very reasonably priced. No complaints on the actual quality of the massage, but to me the atmosphere wasn't worth the good price or the quality of the massage. Asked why I was there (living social deal originally purchased for my husband), Am I experiencing any pain (nope... again originally for the hubster), etc... then he goes "Ok, well let's see what your deal entails since these get issued so often." Followed by "Ok well in order to do your spinal adjustment, I'm going to need to do an exam... I see you didn't provide your insurance information. That's ok... Once you provide us with that, we can bill them. (insert sound of braking car here) Uhm say what coconut? I stopped him there and said "No... I don't want any treatment that requires me to pay anything outside the living social deal." Which I learned wasn't an option since he couldn't do the spinal adjustment without an exam which had to be billed. I thanked him for his time and excused myself... and yes, I went back to read the fine print which did not include anything about the additional cost of an exam in order to complete the terms of the deal. Sneaky sneaky with the ol'bait and switch. I definitely won't be in need of any future services.

I have been to spas before and this was by far the most unprofessional one by far. The room, I should have noticed in the photos, was just old, very sparse and needed updating. The ambiance was disappointing. I waited in the room for 5 mins for the person to return. When she came back and started I was thinking I could have paid my grandchild to do this. How many times could my arch get messaged before it would disappear or scraping the underside of my toes. Not a reflexology massage I envisioned. No explanation of a massage or reflexology. No forewarning of touching my thighs, which caught me by surprise. She also smelled of cigarettes and openly coughed twice while massaging. Then to top it off the 30 mins massage was $40. No I don't recommend this place although she mentioned if I gave a 5 star google review I would be given a 10 dollar discount on my next massage. I would have to show proof if the review. I paid her and did not receive a receipt. Very disappointed in the whole experience.
