When I phoned in and made the appointment I asked if she wanted my name but she said my phone number was enough. I was placed in a room that was not comfortable for me. I have been to spas before and this was by far the most unprofessional one by far. The room, I should have noticed in the photos, was just old, very sparse and needed updating. The ambiance was disappointing. I waited in the room for 5 mins for the person to return. When she came back and started I was thinking I could have paid my grandchild to do this. How many times could my arch get messaged before it would disappear or scraping the underside of my toes. Not a reflexology massage I envisioned. No explanation of a massage or reflexology. No forewarning of touching my thighs, which caught me by surprise. She also smelled of cigarettes and openly coughed twice while massaging. Then to top it off the 30 mins massage was $40. After they ran up an xray bill to hit my insurance, they made a half-hearted attempt at an adjustment that did very little other than some light stretching I could/should have just done at home. They quickly transitioned to an ineffective TENS unit that I mentioned simply does not and will not work for me, then sent me home in the exact same condition more or less(improved from the stretching and BS adjustment/inflamed and cramping from the TENS unit). Desperate and STILL in pain after they sent me home, I went to a competitor, who acted with a real sense of urgency to alleviate the pain and were happy to communicate with and treat me. Given the high ratings and how wicked, awesome Christy at the front desk was, I cannot help but feel extremely disappointed and would also still feel...well...much pain if there weren't many alternatives in this area. The other reviews simply baffle and upset me - why did they get such great service? I am 67 years of age and was experiencing the aches and pain of growing older. I finally had enough of going to my primary care physician and getting no relief.
