Okay, so I haven't had a sit-down dinner here, yet. I can't speak to the in-house service at all. All I can say is that everything that I've eaten here has been fabulous. I usually order for take out, because I work nearby. We've also ordered for delivery, and I kid you not, we've gotten our food in under 30 minutes before!! Now, THAT'S great delivery service!! My favorite items are the Eggplant Holy Basil, the Drunken Noodles, the Crab Rangoon (which I haven't liked anywhere else,) the Pad See Yew (which I became quite addicted to), Tom Ka soup, Tom Yum, and a few other random dishes that I can't recall at the moment. I'm feeding my daughter and I'm really hungry, and even though I just had their Eggplant for lunch yesterday, I'm thinking I need to order something for us tonight... I just don't feel like cooking!! Touch Thai is AMAZING!!! The Thai iced Tea and any noodle dish is out of this world. My boyfriend and I go all the time and we are shocked there is never a wait. Seriously if you want to go on Main Street go to Touch Thai. Disclaimer: it looks like no one is every in there which I think draws people to other options but most locals go to this place and get take out! So don't let that deter you it is seriously worth every penny! You have to try it read more

I ordered delivery for the first time tonight. I asked if I lived too far away (about 10 minutes drive) and they said no. They then called back to tell me that they had made a mistake and I did live too far. With a little pushing on my end, they delivered anyway since they told me they would to begin with. I give them credit for deciding to deliver. The coconut rice was absolutely delicious. I'm currently sick and can't smell anything so my taste buds weren't at their most sensitive, but from what I could tell, the tofu and vegetables in garlic sauce were also very good. Wet dog odor pad thai It's typically how i rate my thai experience, if and when the pad thai tastes or smells like wet dog. Am i making this up? has no one else ever experienced this or am i just no open to new things and is this all in my head? Kuki on 3rd st, thai kitchen on southside and now touch on main st. all eventually i come across that same odor that i cannot get past my nose. I've never experienced that at White orchid or Asia restaurants. I'd try this place if you are in the area and craving thai and the thai place down the street (thai thai II) is full or not open. I also got mango sticky rice, but the mango was yellow and the consistency of an apple. maybe it's not mango season? i was not impressed but i'm excited to know that i wont spend (waste?) any more money here. but i'm obviously in the minority, this place has mostly positive reviews? maybe they arent ordering pad thai, makes sense. read more

Great soup fresh and tasty, love that it has tofu. I gave them four stars based upon the fact that my yellow curry chicken was hard did not enjoy that all the other ingredients were cooked great but chicken was hard also tasted a lil overly on the sweet side usually i should be spicy and yes cooked with coconut milk but this was too sweet to me. My friend had the green curry shrimp and that was awesome very fresh clean shrimp well cooked entirely. The dumplings were not my favorite but I guess its because the shrimp chicken and beef mix did not give the greatest flavor and I also felt they were on the hard side. I usually come by here on my work break for their 8.99 lunch special. It comes with a soup or salad with ginger dressing along with a "lunch-sized" portion of just about anything on their regular menu. Food is always extremely fresh and flavorful. Service is realllllllly fast and friendly although it is always completely empty when I go in the afternoon. Think they do a lot of take-out. read more

If you're not from the area and aren't familiar with it, be warned - this place, like apparently others in the area, are BYOB. I was going to sit down for a meal with a nice glass of wine but instead changed my order to take-out and headed back to the hotel. Also, air conditioning did not seem to be working that evening... I came here while in town for an interview and it also happened to be one of the MusicFest days, so the street outside was shut down for cars and full of rowdy people listening to music - which actually was quite a fun ambience. They left the door open and everyone could listen in. The food: delicious! I asked for spicy and to my surprise, I got it (I almost never do...). And it wasn't so spicy that it wasn't flavorful. I got the Drunken Noodles with shrimp - there was plenty of shrimp, it was cooked well, and tasted great. I polished it off. read more

Great new addition to Main St. Best green curry I've had in years. Nice place, plenty of seating, service was good, BYOB(!), get to this place before it catches on and you'll have a wait. Ate here, in the restaurant, for the first time last weekend. Ordered the Drunken Noodles. They were really good. I am looking forward to going back for more. It's a nice, relaxed, simple dining experience. Usually we do takeout with Thai, but we dined in last weekend. It's nice eating in a place that isn't noisy and super crowded. Will order takeout soon. Touch Thai is absolutely one of my top favorite Thai food places. First of all, it's never too crowded (don't let that fool you-they do a lot of take out and have a faithful following!). Second, they have the best drunken noodle around. Their Pad Thai is delicious. And the Panang and Yellow Curries are excellent! There's a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Was going through Bethlehem and very much in a Thai mood with a friend. We got the curry puff appetizer which had an interesting texture. Good flavor, but basically pillsbury dough stuffed with spices in the center (and cold in the middle). Sadly,this place went downhill and it went downhill rapidly! We will never eat here again. The oil that they fry the food in is old and our dessert which was deep fried ice cream tasted like fried steak. The food was extremely salty and not fresh at all. Stopped by Touch Thai before heading to Sands. The location is great and they have outdoor seating. We ordered the crab rangoon since it's suggested here and they were very tasty! I had the chicken pad thai which was different from what I was used to but still very good! My boyfriend had the panang curry without saying how spicy he wanted but it was perfect anyway. The service was friendly and our water was refilled regularly. I think our crab rangoons were dropped off at the table next to us by accident. Decided on Thai food for lunch, and came across this restaurant. Sorry to say, if was not very good. Best item was the Somtom Salad (Papaya) which was prepared well, although too salty. The Beef Salad was downright awful...the beef was absurdly overcooked, and the salt content was off the charts, which made this inedible. For our shared entree we ordered their "special" Lobster Pad Thai. There was supposed to be 7 ounces of lobster in it...there was no more than 3. The sauce was unbalanced and WAY too sweet. Perhaps the head chef was off when we went, but whoever did the cooking did a very poor job. We won't be back. Sorry. read more

Went during lunch on a Monday (Thai Thai II was closed which is my usual spot) Lunch menu provided quite a variety of choices with salad/soup for 8.99. Ordered the drunken noodles and it was yummy. My girlfriend and I came here on a whim driving through Main St. We ordered the crab Rangoon and these gyoza dumplings as appetizers. Both were really good. Next we split the yum salad with duck....it incorporated sweet, salty, spicy and acidic which was great (shout out to a previous yelper's suggestion). I ordered the drunken noodles with pork and my girlfriend ordered the pad see aew with chicken. I enjoyed my entree but a taste of the pad see aew had my mouth watering for the rest of the night. My new favorite Thai spot. As a side note, while we were there we overheard multiple patrons asking for some side portions of "that sauce." I can confidently say that this is one of the best Thai places in the Valley. We came here for lunch on a lazy weekend afternoon and chose to sit near the door in our own little cove.
