I recently went in to add XM SATELLITE radio to my car which didn't have it pre-installed...I was told that a "Unit"could added for $250.00 + $100.00_to install. Worst mistake I made was trying to give this local place my business. Always trying to sell you stuff you didn't ask for. Had to take my car back to them 3 times for a simple repair just because they were too lazy to do it right the first time. Had to pay for a cab back of forth on 3 separate days because of they're laziness and unprofessional. My alarm was poorly installed. Not even a year and I begin having issues. So they Chris and Salo want to charge me $100 just to look at it??! Bs! Took my vehicle to van Wyck and Jamaica Avenue to the audio Sound and security accessories and they did it for FREE! Brought my car in 2 weeks ago to have all the windows tinted and was consulted by Carlos. We discussed what tint levels I wanted on al the windows, I left the car there and was told it would take 3 hours. After 3 hours I never received a call, so I decided to go pick up my car anyways. When I arrived I was told that they were finishing up and working on the back window; I waited 2 more hours there and wasn't happy. When they finally finished there were some small bubble, but was told by Carlos that this was normal and if they didn't disappear I could come back to get it redone. After 5 days there were still bubbles, so I contacted the business and setup an appointment to bring it in at 8am. The person I left the car with, said it would be done by 5pm this time. I returned at 4:45pm, since I didn't receive an update, and was told they were having issues with the rear window again. My car had been in their hands for 9 hours, no call, assured it would be done by 5pm, and still had to wait 2 extra hours. I wasn't happy with their service. Would I recommend anyone there?? Absolutely not!!! P.s. I understand getting customers is important, but what do you do with those customers when you receive them??? My advice, keep your customers informed of the status of their vehicle. read more

My first time going to Touch of Class. Made an appointment a couple of days beforehand and the customer rep explained the process and was upfront about any additional fees that I may have to pay. For me, my car due to its old age required an additional item to bypass the alarm system. Left my car there around 9 am picked it up by 1 pm. Had the pleasure of meeting Sal when I arrived there. He too explained the installation process, asked me if I had any questions, gave me his card in case I needed to reach him, and when I arrived, showed me the features for my new car remote. All in all, great service from start to finish. They should offer deals on their other services. The autostart is definitely helpful for me because prior to it, those cold, early hours of the morning would have me doubt whether going to the gym was the best decision in the morning. Earlier today I went to A Touch of Class to get a car starter installed into my car that I recently purchased from Groupon. I had a 9:00AM appointment and I was promptly greeted by Salo one of the managers. When I mentioned my name he knew right away about my appointment details and was quick to handle my car's needs. Salo was very personable and very friendly. He gave me a realistic time estimate on how long my car would take and I planned my day accordingly. Salo called me right on schedule and when I went to pick up my car he was quick to my needs once again. The Groupon purchase came with only one car remote but I had asked Salo for an addition unit which comes at an addition cost. Salo had already processed my payment, but he was nice enough to throw in second remote for free. Now that is what I call A Touch of Class. I will definitely return to A Touch of Class for my car needs. Also i will be recommending this establishment to my friends. read more

Only giving 1 star because yelp has no option to give 0 star. I went to this place to get my front bumper guard adjusted. I meet this Salo guy who tells me it must have been hit by someone. I told him it wasn't hit by anyone and that it was put on too close to the bumper by someone else. This salesman kept harping on the same idea repeatedly that my car was hit by someone on the street to the point to make me feel like I was lying about my bumper guard situation. Then he gives me his estimate. He wanted me to charge full hour of his time at 125/hour saying it may take 1 hour or longer. I told him both of my bumper guards were put on in less than hour by someone. He goes on to tell me that's impossible and there is no way he can guarantee that it can be done in 1 hour. Reluctantly agreeing to his estimate I gave him my car and without any surprise to me within half an hour this guy bring my car back fixed. He offers me my car keys and without any shame ask to come see them again if I have any other work. And I thought to myself what a bunch of CROOKS these people are!!!! They have no shame!!! Neither I will ever return to this place for anything and nor I advise anybody to go here!!! I also had previous experience with this place couple of years ago for a big job (speakers, amplifier, tinting, and HID conversion) that cost me 300-400 more than it would cost me anywhere else in the market. And yet again I went to them one more time not knowing any better simply because their shop is very close to me but NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Steer Clear of this place!!!
