I came here to get a manicure because my hands have been really dry. There is a lot of parking in the back, but keep in mind that the parking next to it is reserved for the pizza place. The entrance to their parking is on Virginia, and there is a lot of parking available. I walked in, and all the employers were busy with a customer. The place is clean, and they have many options available. However, they don't have any options for regular nail polish, all the acrylic and all the other ones that stay on your nails for weeks. I didn't want any of those, so she said my only option was clear. And that was fine with me. $30 for a deluxe manicure that took about 35 minutes. The only reason why I am giving it four stars is because she didn't massage hard enough and she was distracted with other customers. Prices are reasonable. However, they don't give you the service menu when you come in, which I didn't like very much. Given that this place is a minute away from me, I'll probably go here again. read more

My experience whew. Let's begin. I walked in asking for a pedicure and either a nail repair or nail removal. Nail repair is listed as a service on the menu, yet it was declined because I did not want a $60 fill-in. The associate was aggressive and pushy about the fill-in. She also quoted me with gel, making an assumption, and quoted me $45 for a pedicure, making another assumption about the type of pedicure I wanted. A clear price chart was not shared before prices were quoted, so please be wary of these practices. The reviewer who mentioned unclear pricing was correct. Prices seem to be assumed based on prior service or what they think you want, and that feels very questionable. The salon also did not appear clean, and the tools did not seem properly sanitized. During my pedicure, the gentleman did not wear gloves, which was a major red flag. His fingernail/nail bed was pressing into my foot, and his nails did not appear clean. That raised serious concerns for me about hygiene, fungus, and bacteria. When I explained again that I did not want a fill-in and only wanted a repair or removal, I was told they only offered a fill-in or $15 to remove all of the nails. At that point, I was already spending money, so I did not understand why a simple repair or removal was a problem. I ended up paying $20 for what was done, though honestly, it did not feel like $20 worth of service. Then I left. I tried not to leave a review at first, but cleanliness and sanitation matter. Health code should definitely take a look, and I hope my experience helps someone else make an informed decision. So today I left the nail shop I've patroned for nearly 10 years. Not only have gone here but my entire family. Today I was treated with so much disrespect by Mrs. Lee. I asked her husband who constantly rushes my pedicures...to take more time on my feet and remove the dead skin. He ignored me and then transferred my services to his wife, Mrs. Lee. I was calm and asked Ms. Lee told me that "they" were not listening me or my needs. Plus the last two times my nails broke within 4 days of her completing my nails. I just can't find a good thing to say about this place. I am a regular manicurist, meaning my nails stay done and I am very attentive to all aspects of the manicure! I have been to this place a few times and they have let me down, every.single.time. The first time I came, I got an infection in my toe from the pedicure. The second time I came, they charged me hella saying my nails were too long and for asking for my nails to be shaped coffin.. when they were already coffin! I just needed a refresher. Exhaling...there are few things that a woman looks forward to as much as a pedicure. That 45 mi to an hour of premium "Me Time" pampering is right up there with a stiff drink after a bad day or a unexpected Prince jam on the radio. As soon as we walked into Touch Nails I exhaled and from that moment until the time we left I was treated like a Queen. We visited the salon on a Saturday at noon, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and advised to choose our color (prettty standard). However, even though the salon was pretty full we were quickly seated with feet submerged into warm blue lavender scented water. As I surveyed the surroundings I noticed how clean the salon was, even with it being on Saturday morning the stations were all wiped off and the normal smell of nail polish chemicals and gel was definitely not as pronounced as other places I have been. I was pleasantly surprised. Just as I was about to close my eyes and sink into my thoughts, my girlfriend says "Oh Gawd" I look over to see this awe struck look on her face "these chairs are great". Understatement here people...the chairs are amazing. Dang near a full body massage and EVERY setting worked. I felt like I was at Sharper Image sitting in one of those custom made loungers. I mean this thing hugged your booty and massaged from upper to lower back so good...I think I might have caught a nod or two. Luckily just before I started to snore TINA came over, introduced herself and started to work on my feet. Ashamed as I am to tell it...I was way overdue for a pedi. When I say she got my feet all the way together...People this lady was magic. I opted for the Deluxe Pedi which included hot stones & towels and a milk and honey massage. My feet are so soft I cannot stop touching them. She addressed my cuticles, cut my nails down and hooked me up with the cutest french tip. We live within walking distance from this place and we want to support businesses to the neighborhood. But we were so disappointed with our service that we almost cried. My sister and I got a pedicure at this place today and came out the shop as if our feet were done by an untrained professional. As a formal cosmetologist ourselves, we noticed that the job was ridiculously fast and sloppy. Not only we were worry about the "not so clean" pedicure chair but we also have to endured their conversation in their native tongue. What they don't realized is that we understand their language. I got off the 85 exit and was able to fill my rental car and get a quick mani- pedi - eyebrow wax before catching my flight at ATL. Lee is the owner. She also said we couldn't use the scrapers to get the gel nail polish off my hands because it takes to long and that if I didn't want to get it done with the drill I would have to go somewhere else or come back tomorrow.
