I was looking for a mechanic to check out my Smart Car because it'd been years since it had been serviced. It was tough to find someone I could trust to work on it because not many mechanics here have experience with Smart cars, but Tony has a Smart car of his own! He was very informative and transparent with me on what was going on. It turns out there weren't any major issues - it just needed an oil change, was missing a small part, and the most major issue being an engine mount replacement because the current one is cracked. Tony is the only mechanic that I can say I 100% trust with my car. My car trouble started last year with multiple engine codes triggering- it was a mess. I called multiple shops around the bay area and they quoted me through the roof, I was about to sell my car and take a loss. Tony is a no-nonsense person. I told him exactly what I told all of the other auto shops. Tony actually drove to me to look at my car at no charge; and with all of his tools. When he diagnosed it, he took it to his shop to install new sensors and my car was up and running and smogged by the next day. All for a fraction of the price that the other shops quoted. The quote was cheaper than most places I've asked and he came to work on the car at my office which saved some much time and effort. Had problems getting my Volvo started (battery, alternator problems). I got a bid from a local mechanic's shop and with checking the system and the new alternator, it would come to $550.
