Tony is the real deal - professional, kind, responsive. When you have an electric car - turns out nobody knows how they work or how to fix them. Tony saved me $100s-1000s of dollars. He did his research and explained in very clear terms what could be happening in my e-golf and the battery. I was told by AAA after doing multiple tests that it was not my battery but a serious problem that only the dealership could fix and that it would be expensive. Without even seeing my car, Tony suggested checking my battery again at an auto store. Turns out it was a simple battery replacement just as he thought. If you want someone who genius wants to help, does his research and explains clearly and thoroughly - call Tony. Thank you so very much! read more

Although the services I requested were listed on their website,I receive an email stating; "unable to service" with no further explanation.

First time using Tony in particular, and a mobile mechanic service in general. It was so convenient not having to coordinate to drop off our cars at a shop. Tony was knowledgable, professional, and took time to explain everything in detail. He gave us a good overview of the status of our cars and a heads up for future work that would have to get done down the line, but focused on what was urgent. His pricing was very fair for the thorough service that he provided, and he even stopped by again when we had a follow up question about one of our cars. We feel like our cars are in good hands with Tony and will definitely use him again in the future! read more

Tony has addressed several issues with both of our vehicles and we have been BEYOND impressed with the results! He presents with an exceptionally high degree of professionalism and always takes the time to thoroughly explain what is needed and what is recommended. His pricing is always fair and he prides himself on not over-charging his customers. 5 stars!! read more

I was looking for a mechanic to check out my Smart Car because it'd been years since it had been serviced. It was tough to find someone I could trust to work on it because not many mechanics here have experience with Smart cars, but Tony has a Smart car of his own! He was very informative and transparent with me on what was going on. It turns out there weren't any major issues - it just needed an oil change, was missing a small part, and the most major issue being an engine mount replacement because the current one is cracked. He also took a photo to show me too. He quoted me a very reasonable price to come back and fix it for me. For the small part that was missing, he even recommended I check Amazon for a good price. I appreciated his honesty and could tell he was looking out for me and not trying to nickel and dime at all. The best part of it all is that he drives to you to fix your car so no need to find a ride home or wait around all day at the car shop. I will definitely reach out to Tony for all my future needs and would highly recommend him! read more

Worked out great! Mobile service was very convenient and he got my car up and running in 1 visit. I'm happy

Tony is probably one of the best mechanics I've stumbled across in my time in the Bay Area. I sent a late evening message not expecting a response and got a few quick questions back and a time when he would reach back to me the following day. While working on my vehicle he gave me tips on how to care for it better and how to save money while doing it. He was up front with the prices and made sure I saw everything he used so there was no questions later on. Thank you Tony for allowing me to drive without fear of stalling any more! read more

Tony was so kind to me, helping me get to the end of a long DIY process. He was patient and helpful. I'll definitely be contacting Tony again! read more

Tony is awsome! Very helpful and honest. He may have just saved me thousands of dollars from what another mechanical was recommending. I would totally recommend. read more

I highly recommend Tony. He answered all our questions with knowledge and patience. His mobile mechanic service was just what we needed. He came the next day, replaced 4 sparkpkugs and engine coils, worked quickly and his price was significantly better than all other quotes we got. I will definitely be calling Tony again for repairs and maintenance! read more

Tony is the man! I left my car sitting in my garage for around 3 months and obviously my battery died when I came back to drive it. As soon as I called Tony he came to service the car the same day. He's very kind and despite the urgency of the matter he helped me almost instantly. On top of that, he also broadly checked my car for any anomalies and advised me to replace my air filter (he showed me how to do it :)). My car looked brand new after getting serviced by Tony. All of that without breaking the bank. Thanks again Tony ! read more

Tony is the only mechanic that I can say I 100% trust with my car. My car trouble started last year with multiple engine codes triggering- it was a mess. I called multiple shops around the bay area and they quoted me through the roof, I was about to sell my car and take a loss. Tony is a no-nonsense person. I told him exactly what I told all of the other auto shops. Tony actually drove to me to look at my car at no charge; and with all of his tools. When he diagnosed it, he took it to his shop to install new sensors and my car was up and running and smogged by the next day. All for a fraction of the price that the other shops quoted. My car's manufacturing year had a lot of recalls on sensors. Every time I have an issue, Tony drives to me and my car directly. Excellent service, outstanding person. I never need to question why things are a certain price. [price for part (with receipt) + price of labor] There's nothing hidden. He does great and honest work which is incredibly hard to find. Furthermore, I trust Tony's technical knowledge because he has a mechanical engineering background, but works on automobiles by trade. He has a vast knowledge of cars and machinery in general. I can literally say that he saved my car from being sold. read more

Tony is SO amazing!!! And having him being able to come to our home to service our cars is SO convenient. For our family, he's done everything from basic maintenance services to bigger jobs, like brake repair. He's honest and reliable, AND he explains the details & provides options. Tony has been our family's auto mechanic for 2-years and we LOVE him! read more

Tony is an excellent Mechanic and super thorough with his work. I texted him and he got back to me immediately with a quote to change an oil pan on my 2002 Rav4. The quote was cheaper than most places I've asked and he came to work on the car at my office which saved some much time and effort. Tony was very professional, took pictures of several stages of changing the oil pan, and showed me proof of his work when he was done. We drove the car the Tahoe this weekend and it's been performing like a trooper. I would highly recommend him to anybody and will be returning to him to do more maintenance on our Rav4 as well as work on my other cars. read more

I am so happy to have found Tony. I asked him if he could do a next-day inspection on a car I had just bought. I didn't think that he would be available, but he was and the fact that he is a mobile mechanic made the situation even better so I didn't have to leave in the middle of my work day. Tony has normal, reasonable pricing and his inspection was THOROUGH. He pointed out details and made recommendations but did not try to sell me services that I didn't need. He was honest, polite, professional, and on time! Very communicative too. I really appreciate his time and integrity and would definitely contact him again, especially if I need the convenience of a mobile mechanic. read more

Tony has fixed my 2001 school bus twice now, and I'm incredibly grateful. He is prompt and trustworthy, and sticks with it until the job is done. You can tell he's got quite a mechanical engineering background, and he takes the time to explain what's going on and troubleshoot. I've wanted to hug him each time. Tony is a gem. read more

Trusted mechanic. Goes The Extra Mile. Thanks Tony!!! It's truly a blessing when you find an actual trustworthy individual. Especially a mechanic, and that's the type of person & service anyone would receive from Tony, beginning to end. Tony worked on our company vehicle numerous times, all under not-so-welcoming weather conditions. Tony finished every requested service jobs ordered quickly. In addition, Tony provided understandable & useful positive feedback to help me (and the company I'm with) maintain our company vehicle(s) at best. I recommend Tony to anyone who wants their car(s) repaired ASAP & done mechanically correct. read more

Had problems getting my Volvo started (battery, alternator problems). I got a bid from a local mechanic's shop and with checking the system and the new alternator, it would come to $550. Too much for my old Volvo. I looked on Yelp and called Tony who talked me through the issue that night and came the next day. He had the new alternator, and a truck filled with supplies, and all needed parts. He noted I also needed an exhaust tube (not sure the part) and replaced it. Never had to leave my home and saved over $100. Thank you Tony!! read more

When I asked the Chrysler dealer if they could install brighter (Xenon) headlight bulbs on my 2016 300C they said nothing was available and that they couldn't install after-market products, which is understandable. So, I reached out on NextDoor.com for a neighbor's recommendation of a "mobile mechanic" and I was given Tony's contact info. Within minutes of messaging him, Tony responded and I explained what I wanted. After searching for what I needed my head was swimming with data, etc., so Tony pointed me to what I needed to purchase, and he arrived promptly at the appointed time for the install. Now comes the really good part: Tony knew exactly what to do getting these after-market Xenon headlights adapted and installed to perfection without even looking at the instructions! Will I use Tony again? You better believe I will! read more

Let me just start by saying this guy is awesome!!! My car "mysteriously" stopped running and I try troubleshooting it for over a month with no success. I then try calling other mobile mechanics but most of them just wanted to give me advice over the phone... but not Toubassy distribution! He not only came on time but he was really efficient AND informative as to what processes he was taking to troubleshoot the issue. And guess what? He fixed it! If the need arises I would definitely be calling him back for ALL my mechanical needs. read more

Tony came out to replace an ABS brake part on an older truck of mine which two other mechanics didn't want to do. Tony communicated really well, was very professional, and arrived on time. Tony came over to our house the same day at a time I chose that was convenient after work. He was timely, responsive and professional. Great service and offered all the information about our transmission so that we could make an informed choice to either try and replace it or take our losses and invest in a new vehicle. He spent about an hour at our house and was honest and hard working. We decided to not invest more into the older vehicle and he recommended that we post a mechanics special on the car- great advice!
