I've come here a couple of times, and the service never disappoints. I always love trying different…read moreitems here, and it just works every, single, time! We came in for a girls night, and to try the girl dinner that they had been promoting. It came with Steak, Fries and a Caesar Salad and cocktail, which I think is a perfect combo. It was just enough food. Before we started our meal, we ordered the Onion Rings appetizer, and they were so good. Came out super hot and crispy batter with a yummy aioli for dipping. The steak came out perfectly cooked to my liking, the fries, super yummy, wished I had more! And the salad was light and crisp. I opted for the espresso martini, which again, made to my liking! I also ordered another drink, a vodka martini, which was nice crisp and smooth. To round out our evening, we ordered the bread pudding for dessert. They ran out of ice cream, but it was not needed. This is one of the best bread pudding's I've ever had. It had a nice toasted bottom, and was warm and gooey throughout each bite. I was only going to take a bite, but that was hard to do, so we devoured it pretty quickly. Suffice to say, I'll order that as an appetizer on my next visit!

Gosh my last visit meal was so amazing, I craved this creole fish dish again. In mid eating I had…read morethis hard plastic stuck in my teeth from my food, and once I removed it, it appeared like a plastic tag from a price tag or uncooked rice. It took a great while for my server to return, by the time she arrived I requested management, the manager lady spoke as if I planted it in my dish, that I sped over to purchase again from my first visit. She replied, " Nothing at all look like this in the place". Girlfriend are you serious? She didn't offer to replace my dish, to comp my meal. She was looking for reasons to charge me for my dish and the unwanted items it seems. Above all, No apology was offered neither. Her tone was very much accusing, was had me, the "victim feeling very suspect". You know "white only pies" vibes. I had to ask for a comp or redo and express how solutions are made during these type of events. Not sure if it was the female manager's lack of experience or incompetence, but her response was disturbing alone. The male manager spoke to me after dealing with the inexperienced female manager for a fair solution. The kitchen was closed so to remake the meal wasn't possible, instead he removed my dish from the bill, and provided a gift card (lesser value of the dish) but it was the gesture and expression of the current events that made it very necessary. However, I was informed it takes time for the amount to upload onto the gift card, (possibly2-5 days) it's been over a month now. I haven't confirm or visited back

I remember when I was younger going to cafeteria with my adopted grandmother (we adopted her, our…read moregrandparentslived in the Caribbean).. She loved cafeterias. You could get really simple and tasty southern style food for a good price. Us kids loved going because not only could we pick out a delicious entree and two sides of our choice, out health nut parents allowed us to get a dessert of our liking as well as a drink of our liking because the value was so good. Also, if other people from church came, aside from plenty hugs, we sat by ourselves close by and roared with laughter until our church members got in on the jokes and the whole section was laughing. Good times. Grandma often paid for everyone since it was affordable to her and she loved us to pieces. I said all that to say that Luby's gives that nostalgic feeling of my youth. Now, the food isn't at the level that it needs to be but it is comforting. I can just hear grandma asking everyone if they are okay and enjoying their meal! My favorite items from her are the homemade dressing, mashed potatoes, savory green beans, delicious butter corn kernels, mac and cheese, whole wheat rolls, cabbage, and cornbread. Basically the sides. The mac and cheese is not yellow but it is very cheesey and nice! So delicious and creamy. They have a good dessert list but my sweet tooth hasn't picked back up. Would recommend!

They said I had to pay an additional $3.29 if I wanted a soft drink because the strawberry lemonade is a separate thing. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! And also the manager can be heard yelling and belittling his staff in the kitchen. Will never return. Managers name was Mike I believe.

I love Fadi's and have been a loyal customer for nearly 25 years. I first discovered Fadi's when I…read morelived behind the Westheimer/Dairy Ashford location and I've been a regular ever since. I've shared with family, friends and colleagues about Fadi's and always made a point to stop by even after moving to another State. We visited the Memorial location on Dec 31 and noticed a promotion offering 10% off gift cards with a minimum $50 purchase. I thought this was a great opportunity to share my love of Fadi's with my new real estate agent who helps us out in house hunting! Unfortunately, Francisco, the manager told us they run out of gift cards. Since we were on our way to a friend's dinner in Sugar Land, he suggested we stop by the SL location and speak with the manager there, Shane. Because of Houston traffic and other errands we needed to run before dinner, I called the SL location to explain that we wouldn't make it in time and asked whether we could purchase the gift card the next day, Jan 1. Shane flatly said no--no exceptions since the promotion ended on Dec 31 and then abruptly hung up. I understand year-end accounting considerations, but the complete lack of flexibility (and courtesy) was shocking, especially when this would have been additional revenue for the restaurant. It was not customer-centric at all. To be fair, Francisco at the Memorial location did offer to honor the 10% discount if we came back on Jan 1, but he couldn't guarantee they'd have gift cards available. I mentioned that the Meyerland location would be closest to us, but were told that location has a different owner and doesn't participate in the same promotions. That left us frustrated, especially given our schedule the next day. As for the Memorial location itself: the food was good, service overall was solid, and the layout reminded me of the Katy location. However, the cashier experience could use improvement. She was on the phone while checking us out and clearly multitasking while responding to someone else at the same time. It felt rushed and disorganized, possibly due to understaffing. This visit was around 3:05 pm on Dec 31, so I understand it was a busy day, but it might be worth having additional staff to help with carryout or catering orders. I'm sharing this because I care about Fadi's and want to see the customer experience reflect the quality and reputation the brand has built over the years.

Consistently delicious!…read more Service and atmosphere: Always great. Friendly and professional staff. The restaurant was clean and organised during each visit and we are regular here. Food: Fragrant, perfectly seasoned and prepared with care. Each dish offers authentic flavours and the selection is great. I highly recommend one of their bowls or dish of the day. We were never disappointed. $$ well priced, tasty and well worth it! A must!
