Where do I begin! Loved, loved my time here! Came on a Friday night and they had live music but it wasn't too loud or crowded. Server was very nice and accommodating. Such a huge menu! I ended up going with the kids dinner since I was craving rice and beans. The plate was huge! I ended up getting the steak and it also came with a small piece of sweet plantain but there were other options. Food was delicious. My friend had the Sancocho de gallina - wow! I only had a small taste but I already know I'm coming back to get that soup. I think it was the cilantro and yucca that had me! I also tried the coconut lemonade which was really good! It had coconut shavings and just the right amount of sweetness. I will be back!

We were on this side of town looking for Colombian food and happened to find it through maps I want to say. It's really big inside. They have a bakery connected to the restaurant! This place surprisingly even has a bar, the few Colombian places we've been to don't ever have bars so that was nice. The service was good and the food came out within a good time period after ordering. It is 5pm when we came so there was about 5 tables in when we were here. The menu is huge and they have a lot to choose from! Make sure to stop by and try them out. I'd give the food an 8.5 out of 10!!! Also the restrooms and the restaurant it self seemed pretty clean!

One of the better spots in Houston for Brazilian typical food. They have a bakery at the front of the restaurant that we also love! A little bit on the pricier side compared to the restaurant. Service could be a little better but the food is definitely worth it. Nonetheless, this restaurant is a solid 4.5/5 for us. We will definitely be returning and trying different dishes on the menu. Favorite dish: Appetizer empanadas de carne mechada. Absolutely delish!

We visited Mi Pueblito on May 28, 2025. I started with a Mojito, but the mint leaves were rotten. We proceeded to order the main dishes. To make a long story short, everything was overcooked: the steak, the fish, and the Cazuela de mariscos. The patacones were so hard and dried. Overall, I used to enjoy this restaurant, but my recent experience has left me disappointed, and I'm not planning to return or recommend it.

Usually the food is superb, hot, and on point. Today the food was mediocre. Their famous empanadas were lukewarm and the chicharron of Bandeja Paisa is usually crispy but today was stale and chewy. The service is always superb! We love coming here and would still eat here, but hopefully next time the food is hot and fresh. :)

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and it never disappoints! I no longer live in Houston but try to stop by when in town! This was one of the better experiences! Arepa was buttery and delicious! Empanadas were beef, tasty. The milanesa was cooked perfectly. The servers are always attentive and everyone makes sure you're taken care of. Live musician on Saturday walking around to tables is a nice treat for Saturday lunch! You MUST try this place!!

I organized a group outing to Mi Pueblito. They had always given us separate checks. I admit. We were a bunch of folks, maybe 18. I was surprised when they told me only four checks per table. So we ordered by groups. The 20 percent tip was included. I understand giving separate checks can be a hassle but they've done it before. They carry a tiny machine where you can easily pay individually. The shrimps in the shrimp cocktail are tiny ones. They're served on top of an avocado with a pink sauce and served with crackers. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. My passion fruit drink was good; however $4.50 is pricey. The drink is made from a small frozen bag of pulp which you can purchase in a package. It shouldn't be more than $3.50. Unfortunately I won't be taking my Internations group there any longer. Paying individually isn't allowed any more.

A friend treated me to my very first experience eating Colombian food. All I can say is "Wow!" When I first walked into the restaurant I was treated with a smile and warm welcome. That really set the tone for me. The atmosphere was nice for a late lunch crowd (around 1pm) The wait staff was friendly and professional! We ordered a large plate of food we could share that included steak, beans, rice, pork belly, sausage and every flavor of empanada on the menu for our appetizer! Delicious! I'll definitely be back!

We visit the Houston area at least once a year just to eat here for about 9 years. Now that should say it all about their food and high quality service. We love the food that we take friends and family.

First off, the service is top notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home -- exactly what you want when you're starting your day. Special thanks to Katy ! The food? Everything I've tried for breakfast has been straight-up delicious. No misses here. My favorites? The Capuccino and the Pan de Bono!! And for desert , the passion fruit mousse ! And the vibe is just so inviting -- super family-friendly, It's relaxed, comfortable, and has that warm neighborhood feel that's hard to find these days.

I wasn't able to explore the baked goods that were on display but they all looked great so I will try some the next time I visit. My friend who is a regular here recommended the Bandejita and I'm already looking forward to the next time I come to Little Colombia because it was fantastic. This dish has variety- beans, arepa, rice, plantain, avocado, egg, pork belly, sausage, and steak (you can also choose chicken). All of this for only $13.99! And the taste? Delightful. The sausage had a nice crispy exterior, the steak paired well with the spicy salsa that came with the dish, and the pork belly was nice and crispy. The only thing I wish was different about the pork was the gaimy aftertaste (I'm personally just super picky with pork and need it to be thoroughly washed and blanched). But my friend ate my leftover pork belly and she thoroughly enjoyed it- all just personal preference. Aside from that, the rice, beans, plantains, etc were delicious. Not only was the food superb, the service here was lovely. Everyone here was very welcoming, kind, and funny. Delicious food, reasonable prices, and lovely service- what more can you ask for!

Specializing in Colombian comfort food, this truck reminds me of the late night Colombian joints that were open in the northern part of Queens (#2). The truck is perma-fixed in this space. They have a whole set of tables for large groups and includes a dedicated covered area. Parking can get tricky if there are enough people visiting, but I'd recommend the next lot over where there is no night time monitoring. The menu is incredibly simple and just know that prices are not listed (#3) . The choices are basically a beef / chicken / chorizo burger, along with the occasional hot dog and a number of smoothies and drinks. I think their beef burger (patty de res) and the chorizo (patty de chorizo) are the best I've had so far. It will cost at least $15 for the sandwich and fries are not included. It sounds expensive but at the very least the burger will come loaded. It'll be a messy, delicious encounter. Pair it with their maracuyá (passion fruit) juice and it'll be a wonderful meal. The man running the truck is one of the nicest owners I've met. He's patient, courteous, and takes the time to interact with everyone who comes through. I can't attest to their English skills, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending this place for some quality late night food. _________ (#1) Yes, the address says Houston.
