I called him and he said well there are other schools you will just pay more. Well there's a time limit and you just cost me a couple hundred dollars at work so I would of just paid that from the beginning. Dr. J was engaging and informative and made the night go by faster than I had assumed. On to my issues with the company itself... I had something come up that caused me to need to re-schedule as I had something come up that caused me to miss the 2nd half of my course (which their competitor doesn't seem to have a problem with ALL VALLEY WIDE T.S.S. http://www.vwtss.com/faq.html). They were not answering the phone number listed and have not called me back despite leaving several messages. I even emailed them and no response. I've now scheduled with another company and paid an additional $120 to complete this process. I understand it's not their fault that I needed to reschedule, but clearly, other schools are more accommodating and flexible, and hopefully communicate better as well. Update 7/14/16: Sean called me back after posting the review today and offered to reschedule the course. He said he was on vacation, and that this is why he did not get back to me sooner. Unfortunately, the reschedule falls outside of the times I am able to work with, but I am updating my review to reflect his efforts to remedy the situation (from 1 star to 3). I would highly not recommend this class. They took my money and lied about getting a refund. When I paid for this school and told them why I had yo take it they were all for taking my money. Then a few minutes after discussing with them I was told I didn't have to take this class at all. When I asked for refund a few minutes later I got a very young man who told me he did not work for the school and that he would put in for my refund and I would receive it within 3 business days because who ever runs the school has to be the one to send my refund. Like the saying goes you learn something new every day and her class was not only affordable but very informative as I had no idea the Motor Vehicles REQUIRES you or basically forces you to take a TSS class upon being convicted of failure to stop for a red light citation and let me say I know a lot of strange laws and specifically driving laws but this is one I never knew about , with that being said she was thorough and precise in delivering the right information with the 8 hours given for the course and I HIGHLY recommend going to her class if you ever have to take a TSS class this class is the ONE ! The class was very fun shockingly and Dr J was pretty chill lol. He did teach us a lot about traffic safety and spoke to our class like we were equals and didn't care about how bad som if our parking tickets or misdemeanors were. My husband and I both have large trucks and my teenager really didn't feel comfortable driving either when he first received his permit. I found the package that would best fit our needs on the website. Ten hours in car driving with them administering the DMV road test with the last lesson. After paying for the lessons they send the recipient an online gift certificate. Booking online was a breeze. Photos and times available for each instructor easy to maneuver. After three lessons the instructor did state my son needed some more in car driving practice prior to booking his last lesson / road test. After each lesson the instructor emails a report on what needs to be worked on before the next lesson. Both instructors my son had showed up on time and were personable and answered our questions. So easy having them pickup at my home. Pricing competitive to others, but priceless in my book. Driving with these men gave my son the confidence he needed behind the wheel. Totally recommend and we didn't have to stand in line at DMV.
