He told me from the…read morebeginning that he stood behind the lifetime manufacturer's warranty on replacement phone screens. So he replaced my screen for me and included a tempered glass screen protector. I was thrilled. But a little latter that afternoon I noticed that there was a "dead spot" that ran across my new screen that didn't respond to touch at all. I took my phone back to Mr. Bryant and after showing him the problem he said, without hesitation, that I'd need a new screen. He was out of my screen but was expecting them the next day. I called the next day and he informed me that there was a delay with shipping and the screen would be there the following day. I called the following day and he said that while my screen had come in he was out on service calls and asked if I'd be available at 5pm. I informed him that I couldn't because I was teaching Bible Study that evening. His response, again with no hesitation, was that if I would call when I was on my way after Bible Study, he would meet me at the store and fix my phone. He replaced my screen and screen protector and waited for me to make sure that my new screen was free of defects. My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it.

This particular time I am writing about is for my phone warranty. My battery would die at 50% for no reason, wouldn't hold a charge long. I tried calling only to be sent to a robot who made a claim ticket up and never finished. I waited a few days nothing. Then I called to try making a appointment with the store. The phone system does not send you to the local store even though you call the local number. The guy that helped was very good , filled everything out fast and said I'd have the phone the next day. It never came. I waited again the next day nothing. I made a call and I finally talked to a representative who gave me my tracking number. Didn't know anything about it but I looked it up and it said it wasn't far away. It had been in the same town maybe 40 min away and it kept showing out for delivery. I finally received the day after Thanksgiving! I have no clue what happened but finally. They gave me 5 days to return my old one which would be $500 if not returned!! Over all Verizon is a busy store but phone system and the store is not the same. I hope things get back to normal soon!
